Found this gem spa on Groupon. Given that Groupon takes a big amount of the revenue, I decided to call directly and purchase directly with Skin Spa. Decided to text the number and I received my response in a couple of minutes. I was lucky there was a last minute appointment available for the same day. To my surprise the spa was very well put together with an ambience of peace and comfort. Then I met Sasha, my skin guru! She is approachable, listens and doesn't push you to purchase and she genuinely cares about your concerns. I came in with an open mind and asked for her expertise. I have hyperpigmentation issues and I'm always wearing heavy foundation to cover this up. Sasha introduced me to Charcoal laser facial; applies a charcoal mask all over face, avoiding eye and mouth area, then goes over with a laser. We started on a small area to see how sensitive my skin was and to get an idea of that's the route I was looking for. Well....the difference was seen immediately and my horrible brown spots started to look lighter and I was sold! I decided to purchase a package of 5 treatments. Fast forward to 3 weeks and Look at my results after my second treatment (I've attached a picture)! I've also included a picture of what my skin looks now with minimal makeup and I love it!!! Reviews are very misleading. Makes me wonder if they're fake accounts or friends that have never used her services. If you're considering Revive Skin Spa.... You're better off ANYWHERE ELSE. This place is amazing! The owner is so genuine, loving, and incredible. I have twins on my lap fighting as we speak, but having found this place is like having found the biggest gem in San Carlos. I've been seeing Sasha now for about 7 months, and at first I was a total skeptic for a few reasons. First, I worked in the industry as a make up artist and have learned a lot about skin care, (don't waste your money on La Mer or any of these other expensive brands that don't deliver!!) and second, after the first treatment I was like yeah whatever...but I bought a package and I really enjoy talking to Sasha about life! Well flash forward a few months and I noticed that my mustache melasma, left over from pregnancy was GONE, completely gone, and I've been in the sun a lot with my kids at the pool. My skin is SO EVEN I was surprised and the only thing I've been doing different is going to Sasha on a regular monthly basis! I've been going for the photo facial + LED light on my upper arms and it's really helped reduce some of the redness and rough texture that I was insecure about. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress after 6 treatments, which is supposed to be even better! You also don't see spas with such gorgeous Interior design, so it's really a nice plus of coming to have all the comfortable amenities and scents from her candles. I have been a loyal customer of Sasha and Revive Your Skin Spa since it opened. I had only had 2 facials before going to Revive Your Skin Spa, but now I am hooked. I have, in the last month, had my first facial here at Revive Your Skin Spa and I am a now a believer! I never really thought it did much except make you feel pampered and relaxed but I realized it does BOTH of those and so much more. My skin has felt so much softer and the area under my eyes has smoothed and the little lines and wrinkles are disappearing! Sasha, the owner, is amazing and has great products. I bought a cream that I put under my eyes every morning and night and I can see the difference in the 2 weeks I have been using it. I really hate to do this, but some of the reviews on here are misleading. I decided upon going to this place partially because of the reviews, but I'm not sure if the other reviewers know what an IPL is or have had it done before. I paid for a groupon for 3 IPLs and I've had IPL done before. I have some sunspots that bother me that I wanted to fix plus the regular stuff IPL helps with (fine lines, smoothing out the texture, etc.). However, I don't know what I got but it wasn't really an IPL. I don't know if it was the equipment or the settings that weren't right. With lasers also, the settings really can play a big role and sometimes people just leave the settings as is without adjusting for different skin types, which leads to ineffective processes. My first time I had laser hair removal, it barely did anything and I was in an area with a larger population of a slightly different skin color and hair types and I found out after trying a second laser hair treatment specialist that a lot of people in the area just keep the settings the same for whoever walks in. That person was able to do the laser hair treatment perfectly. I think my skin looked better as I left and she was for sure helpful with some of my more annoying skin issues (like my rosacea, which is much more of a problem than my sun spots, but for some reason, my sun spots bother me more than they should haha). After IPLs, your skin should get hyperpigmentation where there are sunspots and such, so the spots get darker, then it comes off after about 5 or more days. I pointed out my sunspots (which while I actually really appreciate she didn't notice without me pointing them out as it's a nice change of pace when people aren't scrutinizing your every flaw). She was very nice and had some very good tips on using turmeric, which it's also nice to see a cosmetologist not rely on harsher chemicals as much and know sometimes the best solution is something simple and healthy. I don't know anything about her other services and supporting small businesses especially during this time is important, but if you're wanting sunspot removal, I didn't feel that got addressed really. (though to be fair, my sunspots are already pretty mild). read more

I Honestly can not explain how much I love this place! I never write any reviews unless I'm really satisfied. I have been going to Sasha for a little over 2 years and since then I can not emphasized how much my skin has improved. I'm always spectacle when it comes to trying new things for my face since I have seriously bought every OTC product there is, but that has changed since Sasha took over my skin. On my fist session I was really scared and asked tons of questions which she answered with no problem as she was very knowledgeable.She also had a questionnaire for me about myself and my skin which impressed me because it showed she really wanted to get to know me and would try her best to deliver my expectations, but most importantly letting me know it would be a process and would take time but she had all the correct equipment and treatments to get me there as she created a specific regimen for my skin and I no longer had to waste money on OTC products that would not even work. My skin looks very hydrated and healthy now, and I have been complimented many times I don't even have to wear makeup anymore to hide my blemishes or skin imperfections. I cannot thank Sasha enough for everything she has done for me! Her studio is cute and super clean and most importantly very welcoming. I love how she will do her best to accommodate you into her busy schedule. Her presence and atmosphere is just right. I love her decorations and the music she plays it tends to really relax me. Ladies it takes time to get to perfect skin but I promise Sasha can achieve it and even with the fist session you will see the huge difference. Sasha did a amazing job on my face. I recieved 5 treatments with in a hour and a half. She had explained how different things affect your skin quality, and how I can care for my skin more effectively. See, I had these brown patches of skin under my eyes. My mother had them too. But with Sasha's attention to detail and explaining how the different treatments actually rejuvenate the skin. Really made me feel a lot better about myself and how skin blemishes are a natural course of growing mature . Her shop is super cool looking with a dash of Hollywood, one might say. She's ExTrEaMlY good at making you feel at home right away. I've been to a couple places that felt uncomfortable or not clean enough to make me want to stay. So this is my repair shop for all my facial upgrades lol. The gal that was leaving a couple minutes after I arrived. Signed up for like 3 months of services from Sasha or more. Sasha did a amazing job and I'm definitely going back very soon. She had me laughing half the time and was just a amazing person. I hate leaving negative reviews ESPECIALLY for small women owned businesses, but I feel it has to be said. I found this place on Groupon & Sasha was very nice & her place is very cute, however I found the cleanliness to be very unsatisfactory. I waited 15 minutes & was seen immediately after the client before me left & was taken right back to her room. The blanket was still messy from her previous client & she told me to lay down underneath it. The SAME blanket & on top of the same sheet used by the previous client. These should be changed after EVERY client! I politely declined the blanket & I felt very uneasy the entire time. I did comment about it but she ignored me. I did not return for my final treatment which was paid for & just took it as a loss. She does not clean or sanitize her equipment in between clients, she was ready to use the same red light mask on me that she used on the previous client & I watched to see if she would sanitize it, she didn't, & during a pandemic I expect so much better. My first visit I did not notice any of this things since I was the only one there & I really wanted to like this place & even referred friends to her & wanted to come back with my daughter. I asked my friend about her visit & she noticed the same things so it wasn't just my experience. Sorry, but my health is just more important to me than a Groupon discount. First time visit this week - what an experience. I normally go to spas to relax and expected the same here. But what a difference. I read ahead of time about the approach Sasha takes and was skeptical. Living in Silicon Valley, I am desperate to not look old and tired, so I took the plunge. Sasha is fantastic, relaxed, friendly and no selling pressure. I trusted her with my first Oxygen Infusion Treatment and felt that i looked better. The ultimate test came when I went home and hubby almost fell out of his shoes "Wow, you look 10 years younger" (this from the guy who barely notices when I get a haircut). I also feel very well and can see my face looking more even (less blemishes, sun spots etc.) just from one treatment. I just booked myself my second set (Sasha recommended 4xweekly and then every four weeks). I have recently been to this skin spa for a few facials and have to admit that I am hooked! I have always stayed away from facials and am typically pretty leery of any skin care treatments as my skin is very sensitive to different products and I am extremely prone to breakouts (in addition to the wrinkles and crows feet that are also starting). So, I was very pleasantly surprised that they took a lot of time to discuss my skin care routine, products that I use, lifestyle (spend a lot of time outdoors!) and prior history to determine the best treatment and products for me. Additionally, during the treatments, the mood is very soothing and relaxing and I've even dosed off during the light therapy!
