It is easily accessible and has a parking lot. We came around 10 before our appointment at 12 to use the amenities. When we enter, we check in and are given a body towel and hair/face towel. We also were given a key to the lockers. It's two different sections; women's and men's area. Once we got the key you open the door to the area and get shoes. Then you switch shoes and go to the locker area where you can change etc. This spa is swimsuit optional and majority of women did not wear swimsuits. We put on our robes and go to the main area where there's a jacuzzi, cold plunge, eucalyptus steam room, and dry sauna. Then in between that area, they have the scrub section where you get the Korean scrub. When it was our turn our number was called (same number as our locker). They recommend soaking 15-20 minutes before your treatment. The full body scrub was so rejuvenating. They really scrub thoroughly and also wash your hair/face. My lady Lee was so great! Then right after the scrub, we booked a massage. It was also very relaxing and the pressure was good. It was very relaxing also. The whole day was a great experience. After the massage, we showered and then got ready in the area with hair dryers and skincare near the lockers. It was a great and relaxing day. If you want a quiet spa experience, this may not be the best one for you because you can hear talking from one area to other areas. Also, the shower area isn't fully enclosed and are mini stalls so if you aren't comfortable with that, just note that before you come. I loved this place and will be back!

Best spa I've been to in the Bay Area so far. Online reservation is recommended, but walk-ins are easily available on weekdays. The facility is clean and provides slippers, towels, and bath robes. Male and female are separated, except for in the couple's massage room. There's a salt room for women and a jade room for men, a dry sauna, steam room, hot tub, and cold plunge. I always like to get the "black tie" which entails 25min of Silky Scrub + 85 minutes of deep tissue massage, or any massage of your choice. The full body exfoliating scrub is unique to Korean spas. The technique of the masseuse is very professional and skillful. Highly recommend if you haven't been here yet!

Got the Silky scrub thats 25 minutes. Bare minimum, a full body scrub with a shampoo and she even did a face wash for me which I didnt expect (the online description doesn't mention it). I think i'll keep doing this option! They changed the tipping system, you pay after your service and can tip with your card. They also accept cash, venmo and zelle for tip as well.

Outdated hairdryers, poor service- no one checks inside the spa area to insure calm and quiet atmosphere.

Review for Watercourse Way Bath House Spa…read more A peaceful oasis in the middle of Palo Alto that works for just about any occasion. This is a long overdue review. I have been to Watercourse Way by myself, with girlfriends, and with boyfriends--and it has been solid every single time. Whether you're looking for quiet alone time, a girls' day, or a relaxing couples experience, this place truly has something for everyone. What makes Watercourse Way special is the privacy and flexibility. The private rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Each one typically includes a hot tub, cold plunge, shower, and a comfortable resting area with clean towels and linens. It feels like your own little retreat tucked away from the world. They also offer larger rooms that are perfect for sharing with friends--soaking, chatting, and maybe adding a massage to the experience. The massage services are excellent, and you can book them individually, as a couple, or as part of a group visit. The staff makes the whole process easy and welcoming. A few practical notes: * Parking can be a little tricky right near the entrance * I usually park at the Whole Foods on Homer Avenue and walk a block or two--it's simple and feels very safe * The facility is consistently clean, well-maintained, and professionally run * Prices are reasonable for the level of privacy and service you receive What I appreciate most about Watercourse Way is how it encourages you to slow down. It's the kind of place that reminds you to take care of yourself, breathe, and reset. Life is short. Stress is unavoidable. You can't control other people--but you can control how you respond. So go soak. Get a massage. Unwind. Make it part of your routine. You'll leave calmer than when you arrived--and that alone makes it worth it.

Having recently had a great facial experience somewhere else, I was reminded of my disappointing…read moreexperience here last July. I had been neglecting my skin and knew it needed some help, so I booked the custom facial so the esthetician could choose what made sense instead of guessing myself. Once I was trying to relax, in the towel robe and lying down eyes closed to block the bright light, she looked at my skin and proceeded to tell me I needed a different facial because the custom one wouldn't be "enough." It was not really clear to me what the differences were although I asked clarifying questions, but she talked through multiple options and prices even mentioning one had an offer of a free take home product. This was NOT the vibe I was looking for. Now I could have just said no please stick with the original plan, but I was vulnerable... this was the first nice postpartum thing I had done for myself and did want to do what was needed for my skin. However, I ultimately felt like I was being upsold and having to make the decision to spend more money on the spot when I'm sitting there eyes closed trying to relax. It was too much mental load especially since I wasn't familiar with the facial options as a first time customer. The mention of the free product also made me feel like it was a sales pitch. I wasn't familiar with the product, and it wasn't going to play a factor in my facial choice. The facial overall seemed good and I did add on microderm abrasion which I do think make sense for my skin and would have been a simple add on without doing the mental math on the other facial types. At the end, she put on a tinted sunscreen that when I stepped out, made me appear slightly orange like a really poor foundation match so I ended up going home to wipe off my face instead of continuing along my day. All in all, I think they use quality products and know what they're doing. However, my recent facial somewhere else reminded me how this one was simply not a relaxing experience, made me feel put on the spot, and led me to spend more than I had planned without the conviction it made a noticeable difference.

I had booked lymphatic massage with Jane's Therapy after seeing great reviews about her massages…read more I received reminder via text message which was helpful. She's operating out of her home in Santa Clara. Finding her place was easy- she also came to parking area to make sure I find the place. A few things that led to a meh experience- I have been to multiple places, including some who operate out of home, so naturally I'm comparing against those. This one felt weird. 1. The table is set up in the living room with one divider to cover shorter side (head) only, so the table is exposed in the longer side and quite open, with almost zero privacy. 2. Communication: I was expecting lymphatic massage but she suggested lymphatic is not good as it is very mild. Instead she would do a combination of lymphatic and will use pressure points. She kept pushing for it so I reluctantly agreed. During the massage she checked a couple of times about pressure, which was good. However the massage itself was just okay. Towards end of the massage she said her fingers hurt because she had to massage using fingers vs elbow. And she asked if I still wanted lymphatic but we are already at one hour at that point - that felt very off and weird. I declined because I didn't know if that would mean extra cost or not. It was also weird that she rolled her eyes as it to indicate it's a burden for her. The bed was warm but room was cold, with sofa and all open mess around. Overall it was pretty bad experience. It could be because she operated out of her home, but it was weird.

She was really understanding about my headaches and seemed to know exactly where to focus during the massage. After a few sessions, I've noticed my headaches aren't as bad as they used to be.
