Love this place. Been coming here since 1994. Great place for a torta and fresh juices or shakes. Big menu for a small joint. Only setback is no A.C. If it's hot outside, it's stuffy inside. Wow! Ive lived in Oxnard all my life and just tried this place! And wow! My son and I were inlove with these tortas, and the liquado is so good! Just like Mexico! My son said it was even better than arco iris, a more known juicer and torta spot which he loves! I loved it so much I had to take my boyfriend who lives in Torrence to try and he loved it! I've been going to this place for over 10 years but on my last visit I didn't feel welcomed nor the customer service was not good! Another thing I noticed on the quality of the milanesa meat, was not fresh and tender but hard and chewy. Did I get roast beef? Or maybe some random deli meat? I got torta de asada. I really don't understand why this place has more than 1 star, maybe it's the other food they sell but this is the last place I'd recommend if you want a good torta. I judged it by the looks but decided to still try it just in case. The torta was dry, was not cut down the middle so we can easily eat it just like the pictures that were posted (not a big deal), the asada did not even taste like asada or even fresh or have any flavor. Please don't encourage others to get tortas from this place by making the pictures look "photo ready." As for the rest of the food, I'm not willing to return and try it. My friend introduced me to this place last year. I can't believe it took me this long to discover such an awesome spot. It's definitely a hole in the wall type of joint, but you know they're the spot to visit because all the locals eat there. We ended up going twice this weekend after finishing a 5 mile hike. The girl working the front was definitely happy to see us. When I left yesterday I told her "see you next weekend." Their licuados are the best. You can tell the fruit is fresh by the way it tastes. where is the meat? in my order to go, i got a torta de jamon but i just got 2 extra thin slices of greasy ham in a soggy bread for $8.50 and 18 oz of licuado in a cup of 32 oz for $9. when i got home and noticed that, i called to let the owner knows about the amount of licuado but very defensive, she explained that "it decreases once the bubbles disappear (but 12 ounces?) and is not her fault plus everything is very expensive today" ...and hung up on me! if the tortas are terrible, there is a full charge(9.00) for half cups of licuados served and the services is horrible... why this place has more than one star? i would recommend to cross the street and enjoy a real torta read more

Rebecca's is tucked in between some more favorable restaurants, but don't let that keep you out. I initially came here for a torta, but was surprised to see other dishes available. The torta with ham I ordered was under $6. So, pretty reasonable in price and filling. I was under the impression that applying avocado to a torta was done without question by these torta shops. I'm sure they have avocado's back there, but it may be an additional cost. Torta shops probably caught on and figured people would pay an extra buck to get a few slices. Anywho, there's some good and cheap eats here. It looked like there wasn't anything on the menu over $9. I'll be returning to try out their potato tacos. read more

Milanesa Torta beyond compare. Its a pressed sandwich like a "Mexican" panini which really holds the sandwich together making eating a torta not a messy experience and I love this. If you love mole...you must have Rebecca's. Mole is the best ever. Food is prepared with care not just thrown into cardboard container. Parking is on a side street not a big deal. read more

Delicious hidden gem located right around the corner from my workplace, sad I only have another 10 days in this area to enjoy it. Been meaning to check out Rebecca's but what finally pushed me to go was my slight hangover and need for some juice. I got the Hawaiian jugo which is one of their best sellers and it contains pineapple, watermelon, strawberry, a banana, and some other delicious tropical fruits--can't remember the rest but it tasted amazing! Fresh, cold, and only $4.50 for a giant goblet of juice. It really hit the spot. Their other best seller is the Vampire jugo which is a vegetable one containing beets and some other really healthy ingredients, which I will definitely be back to try! I also got their ham and cheese torta w/ everything and it contained lettuce, tomatoes, jalepenos, and avocado. Super bomb and I'll probably try some of their other menu items when I return for that Vampire jugo. The menu is in Spanish but the lady working there speaks perfect English and answered any questions I had about the menu. Definitely a hole in the wall but if you eat here you will not be disappointed! read more

I can't believe so few people have reviewed this place! That means that Rebecca's is still relatively unknown or that people in Oxnard don't yelp much, or both. A colleague of mine recommended Rebecca's for their awesome tortas, which are Mexican grilled sandwiches. My friend and I both got milanesa tortas, which come with thin, deep-fried beef strips in a sandwich complete with mayonnaise, avocado, tomatoes, and, if you want, jalapenos. Absolute heaven, and money-saving, too! We had them for a late lunch and weren't even remotely hungry when going to bed around 10:30 that night. On the side, we got strawberry and melon licuados, juice drinks with ice cream. Delicious! You could tell the fruit was definitely fresh. Rebecca's can seem a little run-down on the outside, but it's really good on the inside. Friendly service, good prices, and delicious food make it worth it for those who want authentic Mexican food in Oxnard. read more

This place is in Downtown Oxnard. it a little hole in the wall. An old building that is not earthquake retrofitted as the signs are posted. The place is small and old. HOWEVER!!!! They do have the best Mexican Tortas that I have ever had. An old girlfriend introduced this place to me back in 93 and I try to drop by every other visit to Oxnard. They also have the bast natural fruit drinks and they are HUGE! They speak a little English in here so please talk slow. So we (my friend and I)thought about going to Arco Iris but we seen their sign up that said tortas and natural licuados(smoothies) and wanted to try something different we stopped by gaved it a shot! We went through the back of the business parked behind, went inside but was a bit confused if it was for employees only or for customers too since walking through you can see the whole back of the kitchen, so don't be confused about that. Food: Ordered a torta de lomo and it was quite delicious the only thing that I didn't like was that the meat wasn't shredded which would make it taste better and doesn't make the torta look skimpy.The licuado de mamey tasted a bit to bland. Whenn I came in their was dirty plates on some tables and by the time I ordered and sat down and ate and left those plates were still their plus more, touching tables would make the place look cleaner. I had to update this because we got some bad service. After coming here for 10 plus years I didn't think communication was the problem.
