After a long hot day of riding trails (where you've certainly seen signs for Rebel Smokehouse), this is a great place to stop for dinner. My top craving of the day was a nice cold draft beer, which is harder to find than you'd expect in a tourist heavy town. This place was a great choice, with several draft options to choose from, and served in large, frosty mugs. Craving satisfied. Now, most people are coming for the food, and we had a great experience with that. We started with the Smokehouse Nachos as an appetizer, but honestly they were so massive that it was a meal of its own for 2-3 people. With a large helping of meats and other toppings, it was very good and filling. We also had the Philly cheese steak pizza (not on the menu, but we were told it was an option.) This thing was huge and EXCELLENT! I would certainly come back for this, even if it's not a regular menu item. We also had the big brisket sandwich and "loaded baby bakers" (potatoes with cheese and bacon). The potatoes were a bit greasy but otherwise it was equally good and filling. We followed the trail signs to Rebel Smokehouse for some barbecue and we're not disappointed! Large menu with lots more than barbecue. You could eat for a long time without eating the same thing twice. I ordered the BBQ Nachos (half order) for my meal with pulled pork and it was a huge serving, more than I could eat. They've got 3 types of barbecue sauce on the table. I loved the mustardy one and the smoky one the best. The other tasted good, too. Service was great. Our waiter, Brandon, was so friendly and prompt. He offered suggestions when I asked him. It seemed everyone knew him and liked him, I could tell. The loaded fries were delicious and so were the beans, slightly sweetened with barbecue sauce. The Mac and cheese was wonderful. There wasn't anything that wasn't delicious. Food depends on what you order. My sister ordered the beef brisket with loaded fries and my husband ordered a cheeseburger with French fries and they liked their food . I ordered the cheesesteak hoagie with loaded fries and the fries were good but the hoagie was greasy, the bun fell apart and it was messy to eat. The service was good and everyone was friendly which is always a plus. The atmosphere was casual. The prices were a little expensive but then everything since Covid has jumped in price. read more

Staying at Twin Falls State Park we wanted to try some local food. We stumbled on to Rebel Smokehouse; due to Covid19 we still do not feel comfortable eating in so we ordered take out. As you can see from the photo the portions were generous. A lovely toasted bun held a large portion of smoked pork served with sauce on the side. Good food and service. Great place to stop in while riding the trails. Only thing keeping me from 5 stars was the brisket was a little chewy and had to use a knife. Splitting hairs as it still tasted great and all the sides were wonderful and seemed homemade. read more

Second time at this establishment and will probably be our last. First time my family ate here, we had a great experience. Food was solid, service was excellent, the owner was very attentive to the needs of everyone in the restaurant. Our visit this past weekend was awful, the service was mediocre, the meats were all super dry with no flavor. The only things that our 10 family members agreed were good were the pork rinds and the fried pickles..... certainly not worth the almost $300 dining experience. I love local spots but the 180 degree experience indicates something has changed. read more

We visited this restaurant while staying at the Twin Falls Resort (20 miles away). I had the pretzel with beer cheese appetizer which was excellent - I ended up taking it back to the room for later, and the pulled pork platter with fries and a side salad. The pulled pork was excellent, moist and delicious and a generous portion. My husband had the mushroom Swiss burger and was very disappointed in it. He said it was dry and bland. It didn't have many mushrooms at all on it. We visited during the COVID-19 pandemic and were very disappointed that our waitress chose not to wear a mask, even though it is a requirement. We ended up staying anyway because we were hungry and there weren't many options around and I was glad we did for the food, but wish they would follow the rules regarding masks. read more

Omgoodness, food was excellent. We ordered the sampler platter for 2 and it was PLENTY. The fried mushrooms were cooked perfectly. The brisket, ribs and pork were great too. The pulled chicken was a little dry but the sauces made up for it. Only small 'ding' is against the green beans. Kinda blah, nothing special. read more

What a delicious treasure! On a road trip through southern WV exploring our family roots, we discovered the Rebel Smokehouse. The food is delicious, plentiful, and inexpensive. I got to have my daughter try hush puppies and fresh made pork rinds for the first time! The staff were friendly and attentive, helpful and gracious.
