We've used Rechel before for repairing some really old pipe going from our 1950 house to the septic. They've come out to pump twice as well which is fast and convenient, and did a jettison/flushout to help our septic field limp along another year or so. However, our most recent service by them was full septic tank replacement because we had a major failure due to age and location. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost, as every homeowner with a septic system fears the replacement someday. Within 2 weeks they had the plans and permits, and installed the new system in 1 day. Even though it's painful to do a major home repair. Rechel added thousands of dollars of equity to our property and did it in a timely manner and with good service. Called Rechel to have my septic pumped and was advised the tech would be out first thing in the AM, between 7-730a and the truck rolled up at 655a (the best!!) Steve was super nice! Rechel provided prompt service. The gentleman I spoke with when I called (I forgot his name) was very kind and patient. He was patient with my several phone calls of questions as I played middle man for my dad. We came from the city and a septic system was completely foreign to us (and to me personally a gross thought). We opted for the Saturday service and the related fee (for weekend service) was very reasonable as was their overall pricing. I believe John was the gentleman who came out. The time frame we were provided with when scheduling was accurate and John provided a call when he was about 20 mins away and showed within the time frame. He was very patient with my dad and explained our current system, how it works, what to pay attention to, the lighting on the system in the basement, and what to be aware of for a future cleaning, and frequency of service. My father could not say enough good things about him!! John complete the service quickly and I cannot say enough good things about their pricing and quality of service. There were NO hidden fees, especially ridiculous fees other companies wanted to charge per foot and our system is a decent trek from the street towards the water with a 3-4 system ...I still can't recall the proper terms but goals for the next service call :) I would not hesitate to recommend this company and neither should you! I just had this company come out and empty our septic system and add a riser to our tank. They responded quickly and quoted reasonable prices. If you require someone to work on your septic system, this is the company to call. (1) They respond quickly. I set everything up through Facebook message. (2) Pricing was very reasonable. (3) They show up when they say they will - they do not miss their appointments. (4) They call before they come out and tell you they are on the way. (5) All they employees are very nice. I never rate anything 5 Stars, but these guys do deserve it. They were cheaper and faster than any of the others I called. They take plastic too. After pumping out the tank, my drains still were backed up. So I called again. and they had a crew here in less than an hour. Despite my weird old plumbing they were able to fix the issue and a very good price. They tolerated my questions and cleaned up afterwards. read more

These guys did a fantastic job at doing our septic. They showed up within the time frame they said they would and were very professional. We were also getting our pipes cleaned at the same time the septic was being cleaned. In turn, the guy from Rechel let the plumber know when the pipe snake had reached the tank while it was being cleaned. Very helpful. There is one other thing I should mention that is unique to the Rechel septic trucks: They have view ports on the back of the truck's tank. This allows you to actually see the sludge being pumped from your system. I liked that because it showed they were actually doing the pumping job. Very cool. I highly recommend these guys.
