What a great shop to browse around in. Kind of like a bit of a thrift store, arts and craft and a maybe a bit antique store. Hours are a bit limited be sure to check them out if making the trip. At this moment it is a good place to get used or almost new art supplies for your kids or yourself. Last visit here we noticed a lot more variety of stuff for sale which kept us entertained as we wanderer around. We will be back often as places like this change a lot and we never know what we will find on the next visit.

My teens love this store, as do I. It is so rewarding to find inexpensive used art supplies to turn into our creative projects. The prices are fair, and the selection changes quickly. We went twice last week, and found a bag of fantastic finds both times. I also enjoy the employees who are ultra helpful and hilarious.

Absolutely love this place.....one block from my shop(The SewingMan) on Killingworth. 90%of the things in my shop is made from material purchased from Reclaimit!

Copper lined humidor.

Fun place to find art supplies and other goodies. Reuse! Love the concept. I like supporting this type of business.

It's great how they keep stuff out of landfills. I found boxes full of large nuts. Excellent for metal sculptures.

Vast selection, the best vintage in Portland! When I visit, I plan on at least 45 minutes because there is so much to see! I walk around the entire footprint then turn around and walk the other direction because different items will catch your eye. If you are seeking an occasional chair, they have so many styles and cool pieces. Wish I had room for more! They just don't make these styles anymore or of the same quality. They usually have a large selection of couches also in shades of teal, orange, avocado just like on The Brady Bunch. Even plaid, if that's your thing. And of course boomerang shaped coffee tables to complete your seating area. There are so many unique one of a kind pieces too, like an upright piano transformed into a bar. OMG, I wish I had the space for it! What I always have room for is unique bar ware and glasses and they have lots to choose from. Lots of metal and sculptural wall art which really gives a room personality especially when complimenting paintings or prints. They have a large selection of table lamps but it's the hanging pendants that I really love. Perusing this store ignites so many memories! I see items that take me back to my childhood home, pieces I haven't thought about in years. My face lights up remembering a curved side table, a Sputnik light and metal flower wall art similar to what adorned our den. Or a set of whiskey sour glasses like the ones my dad drank from, prints on pillows that are in photographs in my family album. Furniture that over years made it's way to our basement and then probably a vintage shop like Hawthorne Modern! Love, love, love this place! They moved to SE Alder but the charm, the selection, the finds are all still there!
