Wood burning fireplace (with wood), full kitchen, washer/dryer, hot tub, badminton, stereo with iPod cable, badminton net and rackets, access to the farmers field (when in season), outdoor patio, charcoal BBQ. Limited to no cellular, no wifi, limited to no TV. Which helps makes this place so great. Right on the north end of the Avenue of the Guants. Easy walking to nearby groves. Pets allowed. Variable pricing based in pets and if you haul out all your own trash. We come here yearly. It's the best.

So good we stayed 2 nights instead of moving on to Eureka. The lovely park caretaker lives on property and ensures everything goes smoothly and late arrivals no problem. It lays alongside the South Fork Eel River and amongst giant redwoods. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Setting is fabulous. Just look.

I'd suggest bringing groceries in as the few restaurants in town are lackluster and the food wasn't great.

Behind the property is a redwood forest with a flowing creek you can hear at night. The fire pit and deck in the front is just perfect at night. The home is roomy with lots of detail and exotic woods. The spa on the second floor deck is the perfect end to a day of exploring. This is one of the best rentals I have stayed at in 35 years.

They have vacation rentals in Humboldt County in Trinidad, Arcata, and McKinleyville. We have only stayed in ones in Trinidad. Trinidad holds a special place in my heart and I absolutely love this quaint beach town! They have several properties in Trinidad that overlook the ocean and the views are absolutely stunning so you can pick the ones that works the best for you. Some of the properties also have a hot tub if that is something that you are looking for. They have dog friendly vacation rentals as well, which is important to us because we love going on mini vacations with our dog. Trinidad is such a beautiful area for a getaway and to have mindful moments to take in the natural beauty that surrounds you! We absolutely loved watching the sunsets and enjoying wine in the evenings! Trinidad is truly a magical place! The only negatives are that more and more people are discovering Trinidad so the prices in the area of bed and breakfasts and vacation rentals have gone up. Also, I don't love the fees that are associated with vacation rentals and the rules. Overall though, Trinidad is a beautiful place to stay and if you are looking for your own private oasis, Trinidad Retreats has some amazing properties to stay at!

Sometimes I come to work here because it helps me be creative and productive. The garden is filled with all types of birds. Oh and let me tell you about the deck that stretches out to give you a panoramic view of a huge stretch of pristine Trinidad, California coast. The hosts are super welcoming and care deeply that you enjoy your stay which gives your entire stay a calm vibe. Make sure you get in the hot tub and if you are lucky, you will have front row seats to a beautiful Trinidad sunset.
