Was attending a concert at the LBC and wanted to have dinner close by, chose the Red BeeBBQ in Windsor. I ordered the tri-tip/beef brisket with a side of mac & cheese and their cornbread with honey butter, had my food in just a few minutes. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the prices were reasonable. There are tables inside and out. Mac & cheese was very cheesy and good, but I couldn't place what spices were used. A slightly different flavor from what I expect from Mac and Cheese but tasty. I did like the fact that they did not skimp on the cheese, very creamy. I chose the 1- meat, 2-sides combo. The brisket was plentiful - tender and flavorful. It was just warm, that's my only constructive criticism - I would've hoped it was hot or at least warmer than it was. As far as the BBQ Sauce - I know enough about barbecue that there are many different flavors. For example I do not care for Carolina barbecue with the vinegar base. With their house-sauce I couldn't pin down the flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of their sauce as I like mine on the sweet side. The corn bread with the honey butter was very tasty - I would stop by this place again just to pick up an order to go. I would rate 3.5 stars for meal but 4 for staff, prices and selection.

This was my first time here, and I loved it! My favorite was the pulled pork BBQ . it was so yummy! The owner was very nice and kind, which made the experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back!

Pork ribs, tasted like it had been refrigerated for some time.

Food poisoning. Out of the three of us, two ended up in the emergency room after eating here, which is extremely concerning and unacceptable. We ordered pork ribs with two sides, beef brisket with two sides, and pulled pork with two sides. Unfortunately, everything tasted extremely old--especially the meat, which seemed far from fresh. The texture, flavor, and overall quality were clearly off, like the food had been sitting far too long before being served. I don't make complaints lightly, but this experience was genuinely alarming. No one should have to worry about getting sick after eating out. While the staff was kind and polite, the condition of the food completely overshadowed that. Food safety and freshness should be a top priority, and this was a major failure in that regard. I would strongly caution others before dining here. Please Check Your Meats Even If You Need a Sample.

First time visiting this place, and I have to say, I'm impressed! It's a cozy little shop with two staff members running the show. They offer a variety of meat options, but it seems like certain types run out quickly--we went around 6:30 PM, and some were already gone. We ordered the 3-meat, 2-sides combo (pork ribs, BBQ pork, and grilled chicken) with mac and cheese and a house salad. The portions were huge! My husband and I shared it, still had leftovers, and everything was absolutely delicious. I also got the to-go dinner special, which included 3 meats (half portions) and 2 sides. If you order a combo, they'll give you a glass of wine or beer for free--but you need to let them know, as it's mentioned on a sign at the counter. I'll definitely be coming back. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portions!

I'm going to preface this as a 4.5 star but the price and how nice the guy was had it lean more 5 than 4. Cute little place next to the Panda Express. I desperately needed somewhere with a wall plug to charge my phone, which the guy helped me figure out which one worked, so I came here. Delightful surprise. The $15.99 for three meats (chicken, rib, beef, rice, salad, cornbread, mac salad) with a $2.99 Thai tea/coffee (half and half) was a great price. Based on the photo I thought it'd be a small meal but it is sizable! Definitely at least two meals worth for me or one hearty meal for someone who eats more (teens I'm looking at you). The chicken is so good, moist, flavorful. Ribs cooked perfectly for me, not too soft but not difficult to chew with nice fat ratio. Although I saw some reviews saying otherwise, I enjoyed the bbq sauce personally. Didn't care for the Mac on the side but I think my husband would like it. The Thai tea/coffee is pretty good, boba was a bit hard and was probably not the freshest or maybe wasn't cooked completely. Still one of the better Thai tea/coffee I have gotten from somewhere not southeast Asian food place. Going to come back with my husband on one of his diet cheat days.

BBQ is so good I gotta leave another review!!! Just had lunch and left in a trance, barely could think on my way out (pregnancy brain haha!) Thank you for your amazing food and service!! I love this place, cozy and quiet with grooving music. Brisket is pro style.

I'd love to come here more often! Affordable, cozy BBQ food is too hard to find around here but Red Bee BBQ delivers. I tried their grilled chicken breast (a la carte) with Teriyaki sauce and it was fantastic! I really appreciate the option to get meat alone without sides or rice. Looking forward to coming back!

Super cheap. Has Asian elements - they serve boba, have rice as sides, and soy sauce is at every table. Some of the meat tasted dry without the sauce. It's worth your dollar but it's not amazing BBQ.

Grabbed a quick dinner since we were in the hood. Order at the counter, get your food, pay and grab a seat. Brisket: 3/5 meat was a little tough. Ribs: 4/5 tasty even without the sauce. Bbq chicken: 4/5 good but ribs are better. Salad: good Cornbread: 4/5 moist and yummy! Friendly nice service.

Nothing is actually barbecued, it's all cooked in the kitchen oven. The portions are big but the "bbq" is definitely nothing special.

We were there both times at lunch, so didn't go heavy BBQ (then again, we were in CA, so it's tough to find anything HEAVY! It was fresh and delicious, though -- no complaints!). I had two different salads when I was there -- the rib salad (HOLY RIBS BATMAN) and the Cobb salad (I dare you to find a bad avocado in the state of California). They were both fresh and delicious -- and even though the ribs were amazing, I think I liked the Cobb salad better of the two. My friend got the burger one day and the BLTA the other (see above re: excellent avocados state-wide, and Sweet T's was no exception). One of the two days, we were hankering for dessert as well -- and we hankered ourselves a slice of Key Lime Pie, which was a super smart choice, especially after eating such savory dishes both days. Cannot wait to return to Windsor to see my friend -- and when I do, we will definitely be back to Sweet T's!

Getting the check took a bit at the end of service tho. They were helpful with the cake though and helped to provide a knife for us which was nice. We had an order of the hush puppies to share. Those things are always crispy and delish. I was able to try something different this time getting the PB n J wings with sauce on the side and an order of veggies on the side. The chicken was nice and crispy. The PB n J sauces actually worked well together though it was a bit sweet for me, and sticky after the fact. Easy to work with us for events since it is nearby for our work place so usually a go to at least once during the year.

The salad was a spring mix with chopped tomatoes and ranch dressing. I didn't eat the spring mix. We don't prefer each other. The tomatoes were super fresh and I dipped them in the sauce and ate them. Every Tuesday is also Taco Tuesdays and the tacos are $2 each. I ordered a tri-tip street taco. See the pic. The vibe here was friendly and the patrons spoke to each other. I suppose dogs are welcomed at patio seating. Unfortunately, one of them kept barking and dogs and people walking by. 7/7/19 Looks like…read morecertain days of the week or month they open up Oliver's Grill Central Station on the side of the market, outside. Sorry I am not sure which days this happens. Anyway this was a Sunday, so there you go. So, this is a confusing thing. Is this place for to-go only?--or do they want you to eat here? I'm not sure cause everything points to them wanting to get rid of you, but then they have picnic tables right next to the stand so....????? I mean, first off, when you order they give you a ticket and tell you that you have to pay inside the market. So I do that. Then you're supposed to come back and tell them you've paid and they will "make" your meat (which you can see them grilling in the smokers a dozen feet away.) Then after sitting for 10min or so, they'll call your name and hand you a bag with your meats wrapped tightly in aluminum foil. You can grab utensils and napkins on the side. So we got us some ribs, specifically an uncut slab of ribs, which yeah are easy to peal away with your fingers, but also tri tip... that was NOT SLICED, a half pound chunk of meat. Um..... so...... was this meant to be taken home and prepared?--sure seemed like it... 1. Choice Half Tri Tip $10.99: Yeah, so like I said, this is a chunk of meat that you gotta cut. If you wanna eat it there, good luck cutting it with their cheapo plastic knives. And of course, good luck not cutting through the foil and getting juice all over your lap. But perhaps that's good?--cause yeah, can't get juice on your lap and thigh and crotch without it being.... juicy right? Maybe not perfectly medium-rare, but I'd say it was just about medium to medium-well, which was fine. It wasn't particularly smokey, but I did like the nice crust outside too. Anyway... LUCKILY I had with me my 4" folder (with a beautiful damascus steel blade btw, if you're into that stuff) which was sharper than f, so yeah I got to eat it. 6/10 2. Pork Baby Back Ribs Half Rack $9.99: It was alright. Not really smokey, and maybe could use a bit more cooking to be more tender, but it was fine. Not much better than reheating Costco pre-made ribs in your over, but whatever. (And like I already said, came unsliced.) 5/10 So.... yeah, that's just about it. Unfortunately, today's experience was completely different and extremely disappointing. Our server clearly didn't know the menu or the prices, which we completely understand can happen when someone is new. However, you should at least be familiar with the menu when working in a restaurant. At one point, I ordered a grilled cheese and the server literally said, "Oh, we have that? Can you show me where we offer that?" I honestly couldn't believe it. There were only two other couples in the restaurant, so it wasn't overly busy, yet it took about 30 minutes for our food to come out. When it finally arrived, our order was incorrect. I ordered onion rings and received fries. I'm not upset about the fries, but I specifically wanted onion rings and would have appreciated being told they were unavailable or having the order corrected. My husband ordered his burger medium rare, and it came out extremely overcooked. There were also some things that were honestly very concerning from a food-service standpoint. We watched our server bring a plate of food to another couple, set it down in front of them, realize it wasn't their food, and then take that same plate and deliver it to a completely different table. Once food has been set down in front of someone and is sitting there while someone is breathing over it, it should absolutely not be delivered to another customer. That was extremely frustrating and unhygienic to watch. Unfortunately, our server also seemed much more focused on talking with the men in the restaurant and wasn't very attentive to us, which made it difficult to get the help or service we needed. It came across as very unprofessional. I will say, once the male server stepped in, he made sure we were well taken care of and did his best to make things right. We really appreciated his effort and attentiveness. We were really disappointed because we genuinely enjoyed this place last month. Unfortunately, after today's experience, we won't be returning. Hopefully management takes this feedback seriously because the potential is clearly there, but the service and food today were nowhere near the experience we had previously.
