I've now been here twice, once 2 years and again yesterday. The first time I had a 1hour facial w/ extractions (gross, I know) and the 2nd time I had a 30-min facial (no extractions). Both times, Germaine, the owner, did my facial. Brittany, an old employee was supposed to do my 2nd because of my Groupon, but I lucked up. I received a call from Red Bloom the day before my facial stating Brittany no longer worked for them and that Germaine was going to do my facial, but they needed to switch my appointment from 10 to 11. I was pleased because I know Germaine's work. My facial started about 25 mins late, which was unusual and likely due to the circumstances, so I don't hold them at fault. Germaine is clearly a busy woman. She didn't try to sell me on any products or make me feel pressured to come back. My facial was relaxing and my skin felt soft, supple, and was glowing afterwards. Went to Germaine based a referral from a friend who skin looked fabulous after going to Germaine. The experience was by far awesome. This is a hidden gem place, so happy I found it and tried. I got a 75 min deep tissue massage with Robert and he was wonderful. I was personally greeted by him the minute I walked up the stairs. He focused on the problem areas I told him, my back, neck and shoulders, I could feel all my knots go away. He ended with a relaxing foot massage that made me snooze. I went to get a Brazilian for the first time, and also got my eyebrows waxed right before a trip to Costa Rica. Germayn was the sweetest woman. She made me feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. Now I don't think it's possible for a Brazilian to feel good... but she definitely minimized the discomfort as much as possible and I was more than happy with the results! The entire staff made me feel relaxed, welcomed, and pampered. They even gave me a gift. The services were superb. I like the separate space for the massage, relaxation room and nail services. Robert got out all my knots. He is starting out but his skills ranks with senior therapists. I could not help rave to Julie, the staff and other clients. Germaine was recommended to me by a friend who has being going to her for years. The person I had been going to gives a good facial but, frankly, was very abrupt and business like. I missed being pampered during a facial. Not only does Germaine give a great facial, she gives a wonderful shoulder, arm and hand massage while the mask is on your face. Germaine is the absolute best! I have trusted her with my skincare needs for almost 20 years. I recently had a procedure to remove my DPN (dermatosis papulosa nigra aka moles) and I don't know why I waited so long! I had a massage with my sister today, we both had Robert the massage therapist . He has excellent technique. Not only that, he frequently checked in to see if we were comfortable. Offered us refreshments and didn't rush. I am five and a half weeks pregnant. My sister wanted to treat us for our birthday and have massages and other services done and he asked the manager if they could stay open for longer so they could accommodate us. They did! Incredible facial! I have never experienced a facial quite like this. I cannot remember being pampered like this and every second of the facial was so relaxing. Germaine was not only super sweet but very thorough in every thing she did. She has THE MOST soothing technique. Even the extractions felt good! The spa is so pretty and tranquil and very, very clean. The massage bed was so warm too!! I absolutely cannot wait to go back! I could not stop talking to my husband tonight about the facial and told him I would LOVE another facial from Germaine for my birthday and every special occasion in between.
