My appointment with Bira was the most painless eyebrow threading experience I have ever had. She made sure to go off of the natural shape of my brow and because it as my first time she checked in with me often throughout I would recommend her to a friend and will be going back! This is by far the best eyebrow threading experience I've ever had! The salon is fairly close to a metro station. See the picture of what the actual name of the salon is. It was a bit confusing at first. Basically, she works within this salon. She's so nice and gentle. I felt no to minimal pain. I think this is how it is supposed to be but I've never had someone working on my eyebrows so gently. I usually just go for a "natural look". I'm super satisfied with the results. Be sure to call beforehand to make an appointment. She's quite busy. Definitely worthwhile and highly recommended! read more

I think Bira spends quality time doing brows and I really appreciated the detail, even if she has a line of people waiting. My only complaint is the wait time, I do wish I would know if I had to wait some time for my eyebrows to be done. Otherwise, I think $15 for quality eyebrow threading is worth it. Best threading I've had so far in the DMV. Super easy- you just walk in and ask for her, and she has a small, clean station in the salon set up. She was super sweet and took her time. What I liked is how she subtly shaped my brows - I like them VERY natural and clean, on the thick side, but she also perked up the shape just a tiny little bit and it did wonders for my look. My eyebrows were balanced, natural and opened up my eyes just that little bit of shaping. Gentle too, which is a must. Will be back! read more

I have been coming to Bira for years. Each and every time I say, "Bira always gets me so right". When it was my boyfriend's first time getting his brows done, I took him to Bira. For my little sister's first time, I took her to Bira. If anyone asks where to go or where I go, I tell them all to go to Bira. She is such a sweet, cute, friendly lady. She spends around 10 minutes on my eyebrows, more than anyone else, and it's only because she is so precise and meticulous with every hair to make sure my eyebrows are PERFECT. I am in college now and I wait to go home to get my eyebrows done so she can do them. Bira is such a sweetheart, and she knows what she's doing. I'm not used to a threader actually taking time to discuss how she will do my eyebrows to achieve my desired shape. She takes what you want into consideration, and has you check to ensure you're getting what you want every step of the way. Her booth is clean and welcoming and right near the metro in this salon center alongside other services. Bira introduced herself and asked for my name; she asked me how I'd like my brows and checked in with me halfway through to make sure I liked her work thus far.
