I was very nervous to have this done especially because I had never been under anesthesia. I went in for my consultation on a Monday and they were able to schedule my procedure Friday of the same week. The entire team was so friendly and welcoming during my entire experience. Dr. Wilson explained everything that would need to be done very clearly and helped me to feel at ease. I opted for Exparel to be given during my procedure and it was definitely worth it. I experienced no pain during my recovery only mild soreness which was relieved with Tylenol. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson and his team if you find yourself in need of oral surgery. They even sent me beautiful flowers during my recovery.

Why does Yelp only give you the option of 5 stars? This practice deserves so many more! Starting with walking in the door, the waiting room is decorated so tastefully, it's very clean, and everyone in the front office is REALLY nice. The exam and procedure rooms are actually serene, with beautiful decor and windows to look out. And then the surgery team--I don't even know where to start. I am the most anxious (adult :-) patient they have probably ever encountered, but they were so kind and considerate it's INCREDIBLE! The dental technician, while doing her Q&A with me, was very kind in explaining some of the images I asked about. They even brought me a blanket as I was chilled. I made an appointment to have the extraction and missed the appointment. I was so upset because they were able to get me in so quickly to begin with. Plus, it was a Friday. I called them up, and they were very nice and able to get me in early on Monday. They were so kind, and before I knew it, I was looking at my ride home and feeling numb and plumpy.

I actually decided on this office due to a positive Yelp review from Meg K. and was happy to learn my insurance was accepted as well. The consultation was very informative and I didn't feel pressured into doing more than needed for the grafting, so I decided to move forward in getting my surgery done by Dr. Tandy. Last Friday I had my first of two rounds of grafting done and it went better than I anticipated. The staff here is just great. Very professional, understanding, fun, and helpful. Dr. Tandy, Christie, and Sadia are all amazing and I am actually excited to see them soon for my next round. Reasons why this office is wonderful: 1. You get this awesome complimentary Shea Butter Lip Balm which appears to be custom made by Dr. Tandy. 2. The Relaxation Room is so cool! There is an awesome massage chair, tranquil music, and even blankets to keep you relaxed prior to surgery. 3. The staff is so much fun! While still completely professional, I can't stop laughing while I am visiting due to all of their jokes :) 4. Dr. Tandy and her team take their time in explaining each detail and really take into consideration all medical history prior to scheduling surgery to make sure nothing conflicts. From the start, the office staff was very transparent about pricing and what my insurance would cover. They were able to give me estimates for both having the procedure with anesthesia and without, so I knew what my out-of-pocket cost would be before scheduling. I really appreciated that instead of wondering what the final bill would look like months later. Once I paid my portion, I was able to schedule my surgery right away. Dr. Grant had great availability, and I was even able to have my extraction the very next day after my consultation, which was super convenient. The procedure itself was quick, and I was sent home with clear post-op instructions and the appropriate medications. Overall, my recovery has been very smooth, and I had a great experience with Dr. Grant and his team. I'm going on 73 years old and this was a scary thing to face. Dr. Lemieux made me comfortable throughout the procedure and reassured me to call if I needed anything or had any questions.I opted for local numbing, no anesthesia. Now 24 hours later I have minimal pain. I likely won't need Ibuprofen today. I took Ibubrofen twice yesterday. I was definitely in some pain once the numbing medicine wore off.
