Referred by our dentist for my son's wisdom teeth extraction. Waited 40 mins to be seen for the consultation. The office manager wrote up the cost of the treatment plan in Oct 2021. I stated that since it was so close to the new year I would like to schedule for January when I would have full use our benefits again - she had no issue with this approach. In January they called to reschedule his appt. and I had 3 additional phone conversations regarding his RX's that were not called in to the pharmacy (and when called in they were ordered incorrectly and could not be filled) we arrived for our appt. To recap, that was 4 phone calls the two weeks leading up to the appt. It was not until we arrived the day of surgery that they decided to tell me they were no longer in network for our insurance - I asked why this was not mentioned during the 4xs we talked on the phone in January - the office manager then proceeded to argue with me about my insurance, how it worked ect. - I do not think she expected me to be so informed as to how my plan worked - after 15 mins of re-negotiating my fees and her letting me know her office "would take a hit" (I let her know that was not my issue considering I spoke to her directly 2 out of 4 of the phone calls) my son had his surgery. They did not schedule a follow up appt. and no one called to check on him. I have had more calls from my vet asking how my pet was doing after visit than from my son's surgeon. read more

My son had a procedure done a year ago at the beginning of 2023. A YEAR later in Jan 2024 I received a bill for an additional $500. I have tried calling the billing department multiple times about it because I thought I had paid everything in full when my son had the procedure done. No one will answer the phone or call me back. It's been well over a month now. I did receive a 2nd bill though with the number of the billing office highlighted on it to call. Again I have done that, but no response. I have spoken with the front office woman multiple times now as well. She's nice, but keeps asking me to call the billing department! I do not recommend this practice. read more

The front desk said loudly "oops I mixed up two patients" for the entire lobby to hear. The office did not discuss financial responsibility prior to the consultation. This was by far the BEST wisdom teeth extraction experience, especially compared to another oral surgeon we had used in the past. My daughter recently had her wisdom teeth pulled after being referred to Dr. Haralson by our dentist. We found the staff to be rude and unprofessional. We went back four days afterwards as my daughter was having some discomfort and pain and we wanted to make sure that everything was okay. The staff and even Dr. Haralson was rude and condescending and questioned why we came back. Also received no follow up calls after the surgery to check in to make sure my daughter was doing okay. Dr Haralson..I can't say enough great things! At the end of '19 I needed in office emergency jaw surgery (received at Old Town Scottsdale Oral Surgery Location). I was distressed and overwhelmed, especially after my accident, but Dr Haralson and his whole team were beyond amazing. They calmed me down and were comforting the entire time. They took the time to explain everything they were going to do and made sure I was ok. Not only did surgery go well, the aftercare and continual follow up the few months after was above and beyond. He was able to save all of my teeth which is truly a miracle and put them back into place that look almost back to normal which was astonishing after the trauma I had. Every specialist i've seen since for my continuing journey back to before the accident, has said how lucky I am to have had such a talented oral surgeon. They've all said I'm lucky to have kept all my teeth and to have everything look as great as it does and it's all thanks to Dr Haralson. I went in today expecting to be told I would be needing loads of work done including surgical removal of my wisdom teeth. the doctor was very professional and took time explaining everything to me thoroughly and answering all of my questions. I ended up only needing 1 tooth pulled and just to keep an eye on a couple others. I was so relieved and grateful for his honesty! If these guys were working out of the back of a pick-up truck, I'd still give them four stars just for getting my tooth out of my head. The pain I was in for a three days straight was so terrible that I wanted to drive my vehicle into an embankment or a semi. No joke. I was referred here by my own dentist and the process was smooth. The only thing that was inconvenient was having to waste one day for just a consultation instead of getting that friggin' tooth out that day. But that's just procedure I guess. As far as bedside manner and the front office warmth...it was great. The girls in the front were all very friendly and courteous in that 'required' sort of way. But they were all very cute, too. The doc's assistant was great and very conversational. The doc himself was informative, patient, and friendly enough. But most of all, he was good at what he does - pulling evil teeth out of your head. They made sure I was well informed of how to prep myself for surgery the next day. And more importantly, they went over my financial options and responsibilities quite thoroughly. I was completely prepared and knew what to expect in all aspects of everything. The surgery went great. I got the anesthetic pumped into my arm painlessly, and the whole process was done in under 30 minutes. I got wheeled out to the car and my escort was given proper instructions. A lot of people are afraid of the dentist. But its really the things that are wrong with our teeth that we should be afraid of. The dentist is just there to fix the problem. And yeah, it can hurt. But that is what the difference is in a good dentist and an ok one - the way they put you at ease. And this one did a decent enough job at that. And like I said, I got anesthetic so there wasn't any pain. They seem to take most insurance...mine is United Health, so... The prices was under $300 for 3 extractions and the anesthetic, but of course that has to do with what your insurance covers and how much of it. So why not 5 stars? Because its the dentist. read more

If you had asked me 2 years ago, I would have given this place mores stars. However, after seeing a top rated specialist recently, I was told the work I had done at this practice wasn't done properly to begin with and that's why I have continued to experience issues with my teeth. At the time when I told Dr Benson I was still having problems, he got super defensive and made out that I was just being difficult. When the fact of the matter is, he screwed up. And instead of taking responsibility he instead blamed the patient. Now I am having to pay $$$$$ to have his mistake corrected. I cannot in good conscience recommend this dentist. read more

I was referred to Dr. Denbrock by my dentist to have my wisdom teeth removed. Not only was the procedure quick, the staff was amazing. For my follow up appointment, he was running behind and I needed to get to work. The receptionist was extremely apologetic and very sweet as she rescheduled with me. I recently had to get two wisdom teeth removed and am in my mid thirties, I was very nervous to get it done. Dr. Haralson was actually my second opinion, and he made me feel much better about it. It turned out I needed a bone graft on each, and he explained the whole procedure so well and in depth, it made it seem not that bad. I have had a very bad experience at the dentist when I was a kid, so his whole demeanor was encouraging to me. When the day came for surgery, I was put under general anesthesia for an hour, just as he predicted. It was painless and I don't remember anything during the surgery, just chatting with him during the IV insertion, which he let me not have to see, and then talking to an assistant when I was done. The assistant took me to my parents in a wheelchair, and my recovery has been much better than expected. Today was the fifth day and I wanted Dr. Haralson to check the stitches and give me advice on what I could eat at this point. I was able to come in this afternoon with a last minute phone call. He was so nice and happy to see me, he said it was healing just as he wanted it to. He answered my questions about food, and I'll see him for my final appointment at the two week point. His whole office staff is very flexible on appointment dates/times, and you can call whenever you have questions both before and after. Also, his rates were much cheaper with my insurance as he was in network and that made a huge difference. Danielle was great in submitting all of the info to my insurance for me, as well as answering questions. Kelly was the assistant who made me feel so comfortable during the consultation and day of surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Haralson and his staff for anyone who needs oral surgery of any kind. read more

This facility is fantastic. I came here after a bad experience at another dentist when I was trying to get a consult. They got me in right away and the dentist came in and was great. He also told me that he would wait as long as I could for what I needed done. I've had dentists for years try to tell me I "needed" this procedure or else. I give this place an A+! The office is upscale, modern, clean, and organized. The staff is so friendly and helpful, I have never received such great client service ANYWHERE. Dr. Harralson is nice, funny, and professional. He is a great surgeon. I had 3 wisdom teeth taken out yesterday morning. The swelling is pretty much gone this morning. The office sends you home with a "goody bag" full of gauze, syringe to rinse out your mouth, 2 popsicles etc). They also call and check up on you afterwards to see how you are feeling.
