This is a great florist, they do a lot of different things, from the regular flower orders to full service design for events and weddings. Their shop is huge, really awesome, and worth a visit. I read through some of the negative reviews for the place on my phone when I walked in, and I of course told them I read their reviews as I always do when talking to business owners. It is a little fetish of mine after working at Yelp for so many years. Apparently, they had a lot of trouble with one of those phone services that markets online and on the radio to get floral orders as a middle man, and then passes the order on to the merchant while taking a piece of the cost. So many orders got screwed up they decided to stop using the service, and I told them to message all the reviewers to let them know. If you get a message, be cool and give them a chance, they are really trying people! They have these huge beautiful metal structures that are built for holding up huge arrangements, and are filled with cut glass and other reflective materials (as an artist I was really impressed with the metal work). I asked the owner about it, and he said they do events where they use set designers to transform event spaces into themed weddings, parties, etc. There are chocolates from all sorts of cool countries like Turkey and Lebanon, which I had to have to fulfill my chocoholism, and they are working on adding in an art galley space in the back (which of course I am interested in). read more

UPDATE: Wow, I'm appalled by the owner's lack of class. She is an outright liar, and she did nothing to reach out to me after the horrendous flowers. I resolved everything through Teleflora. Also, regardless of what I paid for the flowers, which were $49.95, the flowers that I received don't even look $29.95 to me. I've attached an invoice of my purchase to show that the owner is a deceitful "witch." This review is regarding an arrangement I ordered for Mothers' Day. After seeing the flowers, it's clear that the owners are people of zero integrity. I ordered these flowers via Telefora and online, they were beautiful. I really hoped to make my mother happy with these flowers, but I was sadly mistaken. The flowers were a joke. They would be considered flowers you would send to people you hate. Not even a hobo would enjoy these flowers. Perhaps a person with zero taste and class would like them--someone who hated life. You may think I'm exaggerating, but I expected flowers that were worth $50. I could've made a better arrangement by picking flowers near the freeway exit. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Whatever you DO NOT order flowers here. If you order on their website and call, that doesn't guarantee anything! We ordered flowers via their website and even called them before the order to confirm they could be delivered in the morning. The flowers didn't get there until 2pm. After the recipient had already left for the day. When we called to complain, the owner, a horribly RUDE man, just argued with us and then HUG UP THE PHONE. Forget trying the polite approach, clearly this place doesn't need my business, your business, or any yelpers business. I used Red Carpet this week for a funeral arrangement. I called up on Thursday afternoon and spoke on the phone with a woman who was very helpful. I had already chosen a spray arrangement I liked from the website. I decided add some roses and additional irises to it. It was a rather large spray with a variety of flowers including lilies, iris, daffodils, daisies, and roses, entwined with grapevine. It looked lovely and came with a nice wooden stand. The entire thing cost $114.95. They didn't charge me tax as they knew it was for a funeral. When I arrived to pick it up it was ready. It looked wonderful. I signed the receipt, which they had waiting for me, they helped me load the arrangement into my car and prop it up with a box so it would be level, and I was off. I have nothing negative to say. They were friendly, efficient, and affordable and the arrangement was exactly what I'd hoped. read more

As a perfectionist, I was the ultimate perfectionist bride-to-be; now I understand that everything can't be perfect and sometimes mishaps may happen in a wedding. I booked this florist because it was very close to my venue and it was in a nice area, I figured they did an amazing job. For some reason, my gut feeling started to tell me I should have gone a different route. The day I booked them, I saw some pretty white vases with rhinestones and I told them that those were the ones I wanted for my ceremony and they told me that I would have them. I go back to finalize everything and they tell me that the vases have been sold. WHAT? How can someone sell something when it was promised to a customer? They made it seem like I "never told them" I wanted those vases but I had my mom and sister as a witness. Anyway, they told me they had been sold and that I can choose something else. They don't have a large variety of vases so I wasn't content with what they had, and I told them that I wanted those vases for my ceremony and nothing else. They promised I would have them in my ceremony. The day of my wedding comes, and I go pick up the bridesmaids bouquets and my bridal bouquet and my heart just sunk! To begin with, the bridesmaids bouquets were SO SMALL and I paid $50 for each AND to make matters WORSE the flowers were OLD, I may not be a florist but I know when flowers are old. I told them about it and they said that they weren't old.. C'MON!!! They were sooo ugly and not what I wanted AT ALL! THEN, my bridal bouquet looked so messy and I paid $150 some of the flowers used were old and it was literally falling apart. They used plastic "Rhine stones" I think the least they could have done was use REAL crystals for the price I paid, it looked SO dull. I was so devastated. Same for the boutonnieres, old flowers and I specifically said NO GREEN and they put green on them.. They cut them on the spot. They flowers weren't even ready at time of pickup! I had to wait 25 min for them to finish up, My time was very valuable on this day! At that point I was so worried about my flower arrangements.. I go to my ceremony and I see one of their employees smoking right outside of my church! I found it SO disrespectful! How is someone going to smoke outside of a religious temple? He was literally outside of the entrance smoking, In case they didn't know it is ILEGAL to smoke THAT close to a building. AND it's not professional AT ALL! It made them look so bad & they made ME look bad. Anyway, I walk in and my flower arrangements were not all that. I was not WOWED. I had the same reaction towards my table arrangements. The only reason why I gave this place 2 stars was because my head table was actually very beautiful. They outdid themselves there but I paid a lot of money and I felt I didn't get my moneys worth since the table arrangements weren't all that big or nice. Amazing floral arrangements for any occasion! My godmother recommended Red Carpet and My wife and I used Red Carpet for our wedding flowers and it was simply AMAZING! And the price is unbeatable compared to the competition (at least in my experience). We have used Red Carpet ever since than for all our floral needs - birthday arrangements, congratulatory bouquets and so on. Their new location right on Brand is more like a boutique than a flower shop. I'm not sure about all the negative reviews but my personal experience was obviously really great. read more

I had a weird experience here when the price of the flowers I was buying increased when I paid it at POS, but I like the flowers and I want it. This shop MUST have better pricing system. Don't use this place to wrap your gifts. I took 2 gifts recently and asked to have wrapped. The wrapping looks ok at first glance but once you look closely to detail you see very sloppy work. The corner of one of the wrappings was torn and it looked like they tried to cover it up instead of wrapping it again and they didn't use invisible tape so it looks really bad. I could have done a better job. The only mistake I mad was I didn't thoroughly check the boxes while at the store. When I called they just kept saying I didn't notice anything in the store so they couldn't do anything about it. I won't be going there again. read more

Do Not Use Them. They do not follow simple instructions. Imagine that you had a fight with your husband/wife and he/she was about to leave on a flight to a war torn country. There is obviously a chance that you may never see them again so you want to send them something special - flowers and a note perhaps apologizing before his/her flight departed promptly at noon.. These guys will get your order there 5 hours too late...And yes he/she may never know how you sorry you are.... Get the picture??? Dont use them.. read more

On Brand Blvd. as I was walking to my destination,the owner of the Red Carpet shop was closing up,already past the regular business hours,she's not just let me in her shop,but right then and there personally created an amazing flower arrangement for my friend. Customer service is horrible - they sent me 12 what were suppposed to be red roses for my birthday from my friend and they were 12 half black dried out half red roses and when I called the first thing she said was "It was YOUR responsibility to put water in the vase," to which I responded "why would you assume I didn't - I'm not dumb of course I did." I walked into this store in the last hour. I asked for their help and I told them I needed flowers for my Fiancées bridal shower. They asked my budget and they showed me what they wanted to do. It took a little less than half an hour for what was, in my opinion, a fairly large order of two bouquets. This was outstanding because I was already running late. The florist clearly was very talented. During my brief wait they served me coffee which I thought was a nice touch. I walked out with two pretty amazing arrangements. They were so big in fact that one of the florists assisted me in carrying them to my car. The service was above and beyond in my book. But the real testament to a job extremely well done was fiancées reaction as I walked into the party. She was amazed, surprised, and in her words "over the moon". I hired Red Carpet for Sweet Sixteen Birthday and they did excellent job. I don't think anyone could do better, especially for the fee they charged. It was like a fairy tale. Gorgeous centerpieces, unbelievably decorated cake and pastry table, very unique place card table, they even decorated strolling table. Flowers were beautiful and fresh, they lasted long time at home. I see negative reviews about place but I was very happy, you just have to let them help you with suggestions. read more
