Not only does this tiny corner liquor store have an amaaaaazing craft beer, macro beer, and spirits selection, but they also have a really great non-alcoholic selection too. I just came back from my work retreat (I'm a bartender so you can imagine what happened at the retreat lol) and seeing that little section full of hydrating drinks made me so happy. I have been going here for many years! This is a family owned store and let me tell you, their family is amazing. Being a wine drinker I do typically not like to purchase wine from a liquor store due to lack of selection and price. This is not the case here! They have a huge selection of wine priced sometimes cheaper than the grocery store. They have a whole wall of craft beers and truthfully it's the genuine interaction that keeps me coming back. This place has best craft beer selection in Rancho Cucamonga. They have selections that vary from Belgiums, IPA's, Sours, and all the way to your Barrel Aged specialities. It's definitely well organized and fully stocked with new beers all the time. They're also one of the few spots that get the first deliveries for new releases. I truly enjoy their selection, because they get a lot of local stuff from nearby breweries. Over the course of the years I have been coming here, they get stuff from Claremont Craft Ales, Sour Cellars, No Name, and Hangar 24, just to name a few. In addition to these local breweries, they get their specialty and seasonal releases that are hard to get once released. I've even recently spotted Pliny the Elder, Consecration, and other Russian River gems. I think they get Pliny deliveries once a week. The best part about this place, I don't see a surplus of those annoying hipster NE Style IPA's every brewery is trying to rapidly push out. If you're looking to buy good quality beer that will put hair on your balls, this is definitely the place. I definitely recommend it here. read more

Great shop! Really nice selection of beer. They have a small humidor with a small selection of cigars but it is a good selection. They also have a nice price range in their cigars so you can go $ or $$$. The staff is very nice and friendly. They have other things here but I didn't have a lot of time to look around and just focused on what I went in for - beer & a cigar. When I'm in the area, I'll definitely visit again. read more

This is my absolute favorite spot for craft beer in the area. Been coming for about seven years or so. I can rely on Neal's expert opinion on craft beer. He knows his stuff! He's pointed me in the right direction on so many styles it's ridiculous! I love this place! Best selection of craft beers this side of BevMo! and Total Wine. A bit pricier than those corporate guys, but I don't mind supporting a local business (it's down the street from my house). The liquor selection is pretty good too, especially considering how small the place is. You'll always find Jess or Neal behind the register, always really friendly and won't hesitate to recommend something new to you. When I first started going here, I thought they would try and sell me anything I asked about, but the fact is our tastes in alcohol were just very similar. Although they may not have a vast selection of beers, they do have a GREAT selection of "craft" beers/micro brews; the guy that runs the place, Neil, knows what he's talking about when it comes to beer. If you're looking for a seasonal, limited release, or hard to find brew, chances are they'll have it a Red Carpet (although, they'll also sell out of it fast too). Again, Neil is very knowledgeable and if he doesn't have it in stock, he'll let you know when he thinks he might get some more in stock, or whether it's even obtainable for his customers. You'd be wise to "like" Red Carpet Wine and Spirits on Facebook, as they'll let you know there when they've got some "good stuff" in stock. I've read some complaints about the cost of some of the stuff here so I'll touch on that a little bit. Yes, it can be a little more pricey at Red Carpet, but if you don't know how distribution of alcohol (specifically beer) works, it is a lot more expensive to stock your shelves with "craft"/micro brews than it is with macro-brews. Also, when you can't purchase in bulk (this place isn't nearly as big as the typical liquor store), you can't get a price break on what you stock. read more

I would of gave 5/5 if plinys weren't slightly overpriced and isn't limited to 2 per customer. Just drive to Whole Foods Market. They have a surplus amount of it. One thing that is better than Whole Foods is the freshness. Sometimes from Whole Foods they can be a month old which isn't horrible but isn't the best. Plinys are best enjoyed fresh. read more

This has got to be one of the smallest and yet best liquor stores in the area. The liquor selection is sublime with excellent choices of Scotch, Whiskey and Bourbon. Clear spirits entail larger selections of more expensive sorts. You will be impressed. The real winner is the collection of Belgian Beer and private brewing company labels that are to be had here in this more upscale liquor store. Sure you can still buy the pedestrian stuff, but for the real connoisseur of fine alcohol, give this a definite look. You will be absolutely amazed. read more

This place is simply top notch. I found them on the Russian River website years ago when I wanted to try a Pliny. I'm glad I was able to meet Neil on my first visit. He is the kind of guy who is quick with a smile and conversation. Always been helpful saving beer if needed and fair about it when there wasn't any left. I highly recommend this place for the variety of beer. The prices might be lower at Total Wine but no one at Total Wine or any big box store will know as much about beer as Neil. Highly recommend subscribing on IG and FB too so you know when all the new releases come out. read more

I stopped in twice recently for beer, and found a pretty good but certainly not exemplary selection of quality craft beer...there are certainly better choices in the area. Pricing here is a problem for me though: none of the bottled items are price marked, and they ring up significantly above prices elsewhere. Additionally, in both visits there was no receipt offered nor was one found in the bag. Idk if this signifies employees are pocketing the take or the business simply doesn't want to show their prices. Add to this the fact that the store charges a fee to pay with plastic, and that does it for me. If there were no other choices for craft beer this kind of treatment might make sense, but given the presence of plenty of strong competition, it just seems bizarre.
