When I Tell You BOTH WERE SEASON TO PERFECTION‼A Few Guest And I Ordered Seafood Boils And The Rest Of The Family Ordered Their Delicious Fried Dishes!! I Had The Pound Of Shrimp And Lobster Tail Which Was All Glory!! It Was Absolutely Delicious!!!!! My Beau Had The King Crab Boil And He Absolutely Loves This Location Because He's Here At LEAST 3 TIMES A MONTH!!! Tyesha Was Heaven Sent... Everything is boiled together. Sausage is boiled with the scallops, potato and the crab. Never had boiled sausage or scallops before and now I know why. Corn on the cob was way overcooked and mushy. I tossed it in the slop bucket they put on the table after the first bite. As for the rest of it, it's served in a plastic bag with all the sauces in the same bag which makes everything taste the same. Spent $60 a head (included one beer). For a total of $180. read more

The staff is exceptional. Very welcoming and helpful. This was my first time going and I did need an explanation. I ended up getting the lunch special shrimp basket. The massive plate came with a boat load of French fries and large shrimp. The crab cakes came with some lettuce and were very small. They were the size of hush puppies. I will have to go back and try the boils get a better idea about the food. I did like the items purchased enough but would not order the crab cakes again. They don't compare to Maryland crab cakes and are too small to my liking. They weren't bad... they were fine. I just prefer mine to have more meat to them and to have more seasoning. I would go back. I will have to try again when I have company and we can share some of their boils. read more

5/15/25 I took my nephew out to eat at red crab our waiter a white lady with red hair forgot what we ordered she had to come back and ask us what we wanted. we got our food before getting our bucket. had to ask another waitress. once our waitress bought our bucket she forgot utensils and gloves/wipes. Started eating without them. Saw her talking and messing with her hair before finally bringing our utensils out which was not wrapped in a napkin. I did not appreciate the poor service that we received today for the amount of money we paid. read more

The food was great but came out all together. Put in the appetizer first , but came out with the salad and the entrees. Server gave the minimum amount of basic service in between her phone and watching a hip hop show. Service is terrible. At first when I arrived I thought they were short staffed, however there was a female running bar and hosting, another female waitress/host, and a male waitress. After sitting 30 minutes they finally took my order. I ordered a frozen margarita a appetizer and crab legs to go since I had such a long wait. Now it's 5p. I arrived at 345p. The male waitress came from the back double doors. After he brought my drink he told me the bartender made extra and sits I want the drink. I said no thank you I have to drive. He took my order and walked to the back. At least where I could not see him. Another group of fire came in. They still haven't gotten drinks yet either. It's been 15 minutes since they arrived. I heard the bartender say to staff I made extra. The staff asked what's in it. She said Patrone. She then pouted some of the margarita in a cup for the staff person who went back to the back entrance to the right of the bar. No fits yet. No appetizer. Bad service. No enthusiasm from anyone working. One waitress was actually on the phone while she was seating customers! Hostess and servers couldn't give less of a F about how any customers were doing. Everyone walked around like zombies or junkies. Took 10 min for our server to even show up to the table, she showed up just as we are about to walk out. Family of 4 are for $98 before tip. Holy smokes the sauce the food swims in is INCREDIBLE. I chose "all" sauces option since I couldn't decide on one and it is a great and flavorful choice. Also, the spice levels they ask, I chose "hot" and it was pretty tame but again, VERY flavorful. The shrimp and scallops were tender and the potato swimming in the sauce was excellent. The food is a solid 5+ considering you are in Burlington. The food to cost ratio makes this place a solid "4" for us. Service was excellent. The best service in town!!! Z was our waitress for a party of 22 and she did the BEST job!!! Asia, assistant manager, was the bartender and the drinks were more than expected and definitely worth the $8!! The food is always good and cooked perfectly! The flavor is just right and the cooks know how to cook seafood! This is not your average "Red Crab". Better than Greensboro, better than Wilmington. The restaurant is clean and so modern, new seats, new tables and updated restrooms! They even had a happy birthday banner on the wall as we walked in for a birthday party, free of charge! My kids and I love eating here. It's not cheap but it's so worth it. My girls love shrimp and crab legs. My oldest loves their corn on the cob. We always get the juicy special as the sauce. They get theirs mild and I get mine medium because I like a little kick/spicy-ness to my food. We were just here for my birthday and our waitress was amazing and so sweet. I don't want to hear depressing, adulterous country music while I'm eating. The service has always been good. People received the poor service might want to see what they did first to receive it. Be nice to your server and they will be nice to you. As the customer, you set the tone of how you will be treated. Just because you're a customer doesn't mean you're automatically right. read more

I tried this place for the first time today and ordered carry out. The hostess was cordial and friendly, and even though she was juggling multiple tasks she was still able to be relatively attentive. I ordered the Catfish Poboy. Although the sandwich was tasty, I was disappointed by the two small flimsy pieces of fish. To avoid eating a mouthful of bread and lettuce, I had to cut the sandwich in half and move both pieces of fish to one half of the sandwich. Okay. Seafood in the middle of the state is not always our go to. We generally only really eat seafood if we travel out to the coast. However, this place was THE best. The spice was perfectly described by our awesome waiter (impeccable wait staff and service) and every single thing was delicious. If I could give zero stars I would. The quality of the food is not fresh nor does it have good seasoning. I ordered some clam chowder soups and it tasted like a potato soup with an oatmeal substance. I also had ordered some oysters which tasted like they were old and defrosted. I had the worst experience today at this establishment. The server was rude, disrespectful, and should not serve trash much less people. Her attitude was as though we were doing her a favor being there and were an inconvenience when asking for service or an explanation relative to something on the menu. Ummm, isn't that your job??? Customer service was definitely not her strong point, and her appearance also showed that as well. I demanded a different server and Olivia came through and made a great service recovery. She was great. I did make a complaint to the manager, but it appeared as though it fell on deaf ears. I will be writing the corporate offices on this with more specifics. I think they have lost a loyal customer. My friends, family, and I frequent this restaurant, and my visiting parent comes in and their first visit is met with this nasty, unprofessional attitude. It was just okay. We had been here before but it had been precovid. The staff is much smaller in number and there weren't nearly as many customers as before. Made me wonder if the service or food quality had gone down since our last visit. The food was fine but nothing special and our waiter was kind and attentive. There were videos of fish and other shapes and colors on the large wall in back. If you were on drugs you'd be tripping out from it all. I didn't like it. It seemed weird to me but was hard to avoid as my seat faced that wall. I don't think we will try this place again for a while but I won't discourage others from going. Excellent, I'm from MD, the seafood here rivals home. First visit, two days ago...going back for dinner with wife tonight.

They had a soft opening today at 12pm. There was a small line but they were able to get us sat down in a timely manner. Prior to opening the doors they informed us to just be patient with them due to it being basically a run through. I was place in a booth immediately and my waitress approached me. I happened to get lucky and know what I wanted in advanced due to always being at the red crab location in Greensboro. I ordered the weekend special with a side of 1/2 lb of sausage. My food came within 20 mins and I noticed that my sausage wasn't there. My waitress came around like 15 mins later and I informed her. She brought my sausage. I finished eating and have been waiting for her for 15 more mins to get my check and a to go bag. Overall the food was amazing and I will definitely be back. They have kinks that needed to be worked out but they are already aware of those. I highly recommend y'all come ‼ read more
