Place was super busy Wife had the steak I had the short ribs. Steak was over cooked the short rib hardly had any edible meat on it really tough and mostly fat. I am not lying when I say I've had better pizza come from the frozen aisle in the grocery store. The portions and toppings have been cut and the wings are just bad, so bad. Disappointment is an understatement. We had sworn off this restaurant two years ago when they sent us raw chicken when we ordered takeout. We thought we would try again and gave it a go. Walked in and was sat quickly (only half full on Friday at 6p), then 10 minutes later was asked for drinks. Came back and ordered quickly. Almost 45 minutes later were offered the kids' food to come out first. Asked about bread and was offered some while we wait another 15 minutes for the adult meals. When the hot honey pizza came out, it was wet and soaked on the bottom. The potato skins came out with the meal and not ahead and they were just potatoes cut in half and topped with cheese. No bacon to speak of and not broiled. Wasn't expecting a huge surprise with the house salad, but it was just a head of iceberg chopped up and covered with a cup of banana peppers and three black olives. The tomatoes weren't even halved, let alone chopped up. Waitress was nice, but absent. Decor was confused and the noise was concert levels. They removed the wall and their attempt at soundproofing included about a dozen pads, three of which are actively falling off. Between the Arizona mural, Marshall's artwork, beer paraphernalia and rusty metal ceiling - it was hard to know what the vibe was supposed to be anymore. We were so disappointed and will not be back again. It is a real shame as we live very close and eat out 1-2 times a week for dinner. EDIT: I returned and spoke to the manager (David). He apologized and refunded the meal. He gave me his card but recognized the issues and lost business. read more

Pizza is wonderful. It's cheesy so if you like a lot, get it! Pickle pizza is fun. I like to get a 4 slicer to share with the family.

Wife and I stopped by after spending a morning at the shops across the street. The food and portions itself were great. We loved the pizza and calzone that we got, however the toppings on and in each item were very scant. I counted 3-4 pieces of steak in my Philly cheesesteak calzone. It was mostly onions and peppers. My wife got the artichoke pizza and it had maybe 1-2 pieces on top and that was it. The portions were great and what was presented tasted great but just wasn't much. Service was incredibly slow, at no fault to the one waitress covering the entire bar and bar side dining area. But I never got a second drink the entire time after our food was dropped off or checked on after it was dropped off until we were done. Again, our waitress was great, but just unfortunate that she was alone. Music was nice and seating was nice. A little dim but fine overall. read more

We stopped here for dinner one day to celebrate my mom's birthday. My mom had been here quite a few times while planning a surprise party for me. It was pretty busy when we came by, on a Sunday evening. Mom and I started out with a drink, while Andrew had a beer. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it and their website doesn't have their drink menu. My stepfather also started with the Fried Provolone for an appetizer. It was SO good, he didn't want to share lol. Dinner took a little longer than expected to arrive, but given that everybody had an amazing experience I can't be mad about it. My stepfather ordered the Meat Lovers Calzone, my mom got rigatoni without meatballs, Andrew got Mac n Cheese with BBQ Chicken, and I got the Italian Sub as a wrap. I did not hear a single complaint from anybody at the table. My stepfather is a hard man to please and he was thrilled with his meal. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and I'd love to go back soon! Had a party in the new remodeled downstairs of restaurant. As we were setting the tables getting ready for 55 people to arrive, not 1 but 2 cockroaches ran across the tables. Management was notified only to be told exterminator was there a week prior. Shortly after guests arrived, an attendee had a huge spider on her as she was ordering drink at the bar! Let's not leave out the entire pipes along the ceiling were dripping water the entire party on guests and tables and creating a mess on the floor. Again management was notified and nothing done, she did not even come to take a look. Owner was notified and still not even an apology. I will be contacting lake county health department for unsanitary conditions. read more

So, mixed bag here. Chili was excellent. My Reuben was pretty good. They gotta find a way to keep bottom bread from getting soggy. The bad news, the fish was not cooked through. It was clear and rubbery. There fryer temps had to be off. Staff was friendly. Place was clean. I'm going to let them know about the fish. I'd stop in if I were local but, wouldn't drive an hour. read more

Met some of my girlfriends for lunch. I was the only one who had been here before so I gave them some suggestions. The food was good as usual, but when we went to pay we noticed that each one of us was charged $3.50 for using a credit card! I freaking believable! Credit card companies charge them about 2% per transaction. I would have had to of spent $100 which I would never do there, for it to be $3.50!!! On my $19 bill I was charged 15%. If you can't afford to pay your credit card fees, then don't run a business. It's a cashless society. Won't be back! read more

Once when was cold and waitress were dress nicely. 2nd time was summer time and the waitress were dress in skimpy shorts and for family place I say wear shorts but not so tight. It is not hooters.!!! Beautiful newly decorated bar and restaurant in Painesville Township. Great Italian food. Servings are large enough to take half home for a second meal. They can be very busy at times but seem to handle it pretty well. Highly recommend the lasagna. read more

We had boneless chicken wings, and fish. The wing sauces were good but the boneless wings were petrified. The fish on the other hand was rubbery. Not good. The portion sizes for the fish were good, and the French fries were decent too. Service was really slow, but they only had one person waiting on the whole place. Not sure we will be back. read more

We have been frequenting Red Creek for sometime. Services is usually decent. However this evening we went and had the worst service. I can understand being busy but this was unacceptable. We waited over an hour for our food. 2 Entree salads a chicken sandwich and pizza. One salad and the sandwich came out around the hour mark and the second salad about 10 minutes later. I was told they were waiting on my grilled chicken. The pizza took another 10 minutes after that. Again I understand being in the weeds and being busy however I watched at least 4 tables that came in after us sit down order eat and leave before we got our food. The excuse was the pizza. Again one of the tables that came in after us ordered and ate their pizza got their check and left before we got ours. Not once did a manager come and talk to us. My decision is made we will not go back. It was clear to me someone messed up but no one owned up to it!!!! read more

We were in the mood for wings so we decided to try Red Creek. The food is phenomenal! We got the boneless wings. I had the sweet barbecue. They were seasoned perfectly and not over saucy. The mozzarella tots are so, so good. My husband said they were a "a mouth full of yummy deliciousness ". They are so good I couldn't stop eating them. The tater tots are good too. Chicken was very scarce with the Alfredo. didnt get but a few pieces. i wasn't expected a lot with side salads but they were an afterthought in a styrofoam box. sausage sub is now half a sub not a full and sausages are now strips. not a full sausage. Wow- this place just knocked it out of the park. We were driving home from GENEVA and were looking for a decent place on Rt 20. We hit the jackpot! We ordered the Reuben potato skins and they were very good. I ordered the chicken piccata with an up-charge on Alfredo pasta as an included side dish. Meal came out and the pasta was a meal in itself. I've never been served such a large portion. My meal was amazing! My husband ordered the meat lovers calzone and it was also a very large portion. For dessert we shared a brownie (to die for) and took home two calzones. We have enough leftovers for dinner tomorrow. We live in the Concord area and had no idea this was here. We will be back! So my wife and I decided to try Red Creek Bar and Grill for our anniversary lunch after seeing the pictures from other reviewers and this is how it went: First of all the atmosphere is strange. From the outside it has a hole in the wall feeling but with promising intrique. Plus the smells coming from the kitchen vents of grilled burgers and such is very inviting. You walk up a ramp and enter the restaurant. Instantly the mood changes, the inside of the restaurant is clean and bright, theres comicap pictures of animals wearing glasses hanging from the walls. And a dessert display showing off the most enticing chocolate covered cannoli and delectable cakes of different types. Still not sure what we're getting ourselves into at this point. We sit down at a booth in the dining area and there is Jazz Dance competitions on TV, country music on the radio and casually dressed staff working the floor. The waitress comes over brings us our waters and we order from a very full menu of appetizing options. My wife ordered a personal sized Margherita Pizza. I ordered the Chicken Piccata with a side of Cavetelli. The food came out rather quickly, and on first look, it was fantastic. The balsamic glaze drizzled accross my wife's pizza, the two large plates in front of me. One with two large peices of Chicken Piccata covered and sitting in the lemon butter sauce. The other with a mound of Cavetelli covered in red sauce and cheese. The appearance of our food did not disappoint in any way. Tasting the food, the chicken piccata was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, quite literally melted in your mouth. The sauce was sweet and lemony and each bite was better than the last. The Cavetelli was perfectly cooked as well and the red sauce combined with the cheese made me glad they included a spoon with the meal for shoveling. Also, the crust on the pizza was crisp on the outside and soft and doughy on the inside, the sauce just as delicious as on the pasta and the toppings with the balsamic glaze were light but fulfilling. One of the best pizzas Ive tasted in a long time. Overall, we got some of the best italian food weve ever tasted from a bar and grille, decorated like a At Home store, with country music playing. Will definitely come again, and recommend. read more

The service there is excellent and the restaurant has a very rustic and nice design, but the food does not live up to the standards that the restaurant's service and interior set. A lot of people do enjoy their food, but I have tried everything from burgers to wings to pizza there and honestly it's neither cheap nor very good. Did an online pizza order through the Yelp! app. Place the order and waited for response on time order will be ready. Time came back, 45 min later. No problem since we were picking up to take to a party. Arrived and was told just a few minutes more. 35 minutes later finally got our order. Nearly 70 minutes wait for a take out order was not acceptable when I saw very few coming in for orders and the establishment was not filled. Had it not been for two good pizzas, this would be a one star review. My suggestion, don't order pick up! read more

While in town we stopped here with our friends- a group of 4 adults and 6 children. We were promptly seated inside and our orders taken. We order the pulled work nachos for an appetizer to share and it was large enough for all of us and very good! I ordered the Italian sub no veg with fries and I would recommend it- the fries are great. My husband had the patty melt and was the only one that did not enjoy his meal... he said it was if a salt shaker was accidentally dumped on it. Our friend had the prime rib calzone, it was huge and he said it was great. The kids shared a large cheese pizza- lots of cheese and they all enjoyed it. Our bill did come out incorrect (kids drinks were to be included in the kids meals we ordered, but were added as an additional charge) she took them off right away. Red Creek is my weekly 'go to', as I play Trivia on the tavern side every Tuesday night. Not only is the service stellar from a very attentive wait staff (Sarah, David, Leanna, Ruby etc etc) but the food may be the best kept secret in Painesville Township. Heaping plates of Chicken Marsala with a side of Fettucini that could feed 4, not to mention delicious burgers, Cobb Salad and ALL Italian specialties, at a very affordable price. Nick runs a very successful restaurant, for good reason. I have enjoyed every single meal I have had, and that is saying something, since I eat there once a week! Keep up the good work, Red Creek. We have eaten here numerous times - pre and Post- pandemic. The food is always top notch, with generous portions. Both of us love the Grilled Romaine Salad! It's unique and tasty! Tonight they warned us they were short staffed - so we asked to sit in the bar until our table was ready. The poor young lady at the hostess stand acted like we were crazy. We were hot & thirsty, and were more than happy to wait for a table- but we were parched- and wanted a frosty beverage! We prefer not to eat a meal at the bar so we wanted a table. Her response was"The same people are going to serve you" That just seemed like a totally foreign concept to her. Her boss should encourage that- as we could have had a couple of drinks while waiting. The team there is young, so maybe just didn't realize it would be a profitable option! The food is great and 99% of the time- the staff bends over backward to do a great job.
