Pad Kee Mao with chicken and tofu
    Jessica L.

I love Thai food and had to try this place out! The reviews seemed appealing so my friend, me and my boyfriend decided to try this place out. I got the pad Kee mao with chicken and tofu, my friend ordered the beef noodle soup and my bf got the massaman curry with chicken and vegetables. Everything tasted delicious. It's kind of a hole in the wall type restaurant. From the outside it doesn't look appealing until you actually step in and try the food. It's good, I definitely recommend if you want to try some Thai food. Till then, let's eat!

I love my Red Curry. It's right in my neighborhood within walking distance. I order pickup and dine in several times in 2021 and the food has been consistent. My goto dish is definitely curry puffs for appetizer and crab fried rice. I appreciate they use real crabmeat in the fried rice because I don't like imitation crab meat, the texture is so weird. Curry puffs are my favorite appetizer and it's one of the mild dish I enjoyed. The owners are Thai so if you asked for Thai spicy, you need to be prepared for sweat and tears. My tears came out when I bite into level 5 papaya salad and flat noodles. I love spicy food, but I would adjust to level 3 when I want to taste the fresh ingredients like Thai basils and shrimps in my flat noodles.

Good food for the price. Nice taste and quality. The place is really clean, nice calm vibes, Limited seating, overall I would come here again.

Service was great. Tum Kha soup was delicious. Nice and creamy. The chicken tasted great. Spring rolls were ok, nothing special. Would I order again for $3.95, probably not. Fish cakes, were very rubberized and chewy. Totally a No Go. Only thing good about it was the tasty sweet and sour sauce that came with it. Tastes as if it was made with honey......delicious.

Having lunch here and ordered Pad see Eew with chicken and Pad Thai with shrimp. The sliced chicken is moist and tender. The flat noodles are tender and deliciously tasty. The shrimp in Pad Thai is freshly sautéed. The noodles are soft and tasty. But the Pad Thai as a whole could taste excellent if they put more peanuts and make it a little bit sweeter. Serving is moderately large. Friendly owners and staff. Clean separate Men and Women's bathroom. Not busy during lunch, more on take out. Quiet ambience and nicely decorated restaurant. Next time, I will try their Papaya Salad, Thai fried rice and Garlic Chicken. Dine in is a must! Try it.

Very solid portions and flavor at a good price. We went for lunch on a Sunday and found it moderately busy. (It seems that their lunch special throughout the week is a GREAT deal.) Service was slightly slow but our waitress was very friendly. The noodles themselves were well seasoned and delicious. The veggies could have been better seasoned/sautéed. Portions were filling. We also got the chicken wings (they were out of the satay), which were perfectly crispy and came with flavorful dipping sauces. Next time, I would like to try more of their appetizers.

It seems to me that this should not happen ever, but I grant that it's possible that it was an honest mistake. Consequently, we get to spend some scarce weekend time to go to the business and get the duplicate-double charge reversed tomorrow, and will be hesitant to return in the future on the heels of this error. Dining out is a treat until you find that you've been gouged with an obvious double charge. I recommend that you check your statements for recent visits here to ensure that the same error was not inflicted on you as well. Update: we returned to Thai Thai today to give them a chance to make the chain of events described above right, and they fell significantly short. The woman who gave us our refund (for the pre-tax amount, after asking us what we wanted and replying the full amount with tip) did not apologize for our troubles, or offer any additional concessions to make up for their error (running our card TWICE for different amounts at the same time, after giving it to our waiter). I asked for a gift certificate for our troubles/their error, and she refused, still with no apology. See you never again, Thai Thai, for double charging us and doing the bare minimum (not even an apology) to address their "mistake."

Between the four of us we ordered the roti canai -- with an extra piece of roti, since the base only comes with two, roti murtabak, two orders of the pork belly baos, chili crisp cucumbers, nasi lemak, beef haw fun, and bò tái chanh -- Vietnamese rare beef salad. Overall, the food was outstanding. I feel like the restaurant took all the greatest hits from every Asian culture and put them together on the menu. My favorite dish of the night was a toss up between the rare beef salad, the roti, and the pork belly baos. I loved how crispy and flaky the roti was and the curry dipping sauce that it was paired with was super aromatic, nutty, and rich. The pork belly in the baos was incredibly tender, well-marinated, and had a nice balance between lean and fatty parts. If you enjoy sour dishes, you will love the rare beef salad: there is enough lime in the dish to make you pucker. Every bite is a concentrated punch of flavors, and there is a nice variety of texture between the chopped peanuts, thinly sliced onions, rare beef, and crispy rice cracker. If you're in this part of town looking for a dinner spot, I would not hesitate to recommend Hawkers Asian Street Food. In addition to the solid food menu, the service and drinks were equally spectacular.

You can tell they brew it and it doesn't come from a syrup. When I sat down, I was instantly greeted, and there were like four different people serving my table, I think that they all work as a team to make sure everything is covered. The service was just amazing. Restaurant is beautiful, the booths were , small and intimate and you feeling that you in place with privacy and yet part of the group ....kind of interesting how they've done that. But the food! The food was outstanding, first they gave me a complementary appetizer of Jasmine sticky rice with this eggplant chutney, that was very tasty, a teeny bit spicy, but really good depth with flavor. Then my beef Samosas arrived. There were four, wrapped in like a triangle rapper, smaller than the Indian version of the same, and the flavor was very tasty, and corn and small chopped potatoes, yum! The two chutneys that came with it one was a cool cucumber, and the other was this sweet and spicy plum sauce. They made samosas!!! They could be soft and cool, or they could be delicious and spicy, depending on chutney you had them with and you had a third option.... There was a bed of pickled radish and carrot that really sit off the samosas as well and we're just delicious on their own. I devoured the entire thing. Then get the entrée. I had drunken noodles and I added the shredded pork... It was devastatingly tasty!!! the noodles were obviously done it a wok that's been seasoned to perfection. The wide noodles picked up all that deliciousness from the wok and then combined with the pork... heaven ! They had large pieces of bell pepper and tomatoes. very fresh onions... Just deliciousness. I was too full this time to get dessert, but I'm definitely coming back and I will definitely try it next time

There's just been truly so many outstanding experiences I've had in Houston. Regardless, the food was very good and it was authentic, we did get dishes similar to what we got at Street to Kitchen in Houston, which is the most authentic Thai we've had. Food: I forgot to take pictures of two other dishes we ordered, the Thai chicken, wings, and the drunken noodles. But let me start with the complementary sticky rice. I've actually never had a complementary "starter" at a Thai restaurant, so they stood out, and it was a good meal prepper. The dip is an eggplant type of dip so it's not peanut sauce based. It was really good. The best dish was the crab dip with the shrimp chips, the dip was curried and balanced well with the crab. The chicken wings weren't as crispy as we're used to, and there were more on the saucy side, but it was a solid 4/5 dish. The drunken noodles were good and I feel like they had a great mix of veggies, beef, and noodles in the dish, so it wasn't so carb heavy. But we've definitely had better flavor drunken noodles before. Lastly, the mango sticky rice presentation was unlike anything I've seen before, and I loved it. Do I prefer the traditional sliced mango over a bit of rice? Perhaps. But I did enjoy tasting the mango and the condensed milk and a sticky rice together inside the coconut for a change. Service: we went during dinnertime on a Saturday night, and I was so impressed with the level of service we had. Because don't get me wrong, they were busy, but the food came out so fast & we had multiple servers filling up our water and ensuring we're doing okay. We were literally out of there in about an hour, but it wasn't because they were pushing us out, it was truly because everything was so quick. And I loved that strategy they used where we didn't have just one server assigned to us, which is probably why they are thriving here in Dallas. Overall, if you're craving Thai, I would recommend coming here.
