Several great experiences getting Pad Thai from here. My favorite in dallas. Very well priced and tastes delicious.

While we enjoyed our last meal here about a month ago, our latest card statement revealed that we were charged for the pre-tip AND post-tip amounts. It seems to me that this should not happen ever, but I grant that it's possible that it was an honest mistake. Consequently, we get to spend some scarce weekend time to go to the business and get the duplicate-double charge reversed tomorrow, and will be hesitant to return in the future on the heels of this error. Dining out is a treat until you find that you've been gouged with an obvious double charge. I recommend that you check your statements for recent visits here to ensure that the same error was not inflicted on you as well. Update: we returned to Thai Thai today to give them a chance to make the chain of events described above right, and they fell significantly short. The woman who gave us our refund (for the pre-tax amount, after asking us what we wanted and replying the full amount with tip) did not apologize for our troubles, or offer any additional concessions to make up for their error (running our card TWICE for different amounts at the same time, after giving it to our waiter). I asked for a gift certificate for our troubles/their error, and she refused, still with no apology. See you never again, Thai Thai, for double charging us and doing the bare minimum (not even an apology) to address their "mistake." read more

An authentic Thai spot with very friendly service and delicious meals at a great value! Entrees came with a small tom yum soup which was a perfect starter. My dad and I got the Pad See Ew and the mixed veggies, both of which were delicious. The ambiance is welcoming and made us even more happy with the experience! Cute little hidden gem!! We were greeted by a very polite man. The same guy seated us and took our order. The establishment was cozy and clean with music playing in the background. Seems like a very chill spot for good food and conversation. Everything we had was delicious!! We started with the spicy edamame, crab cream cheese, and haven beef. The appetizers alone had me. This is a hidden gem from my time at Seminary at DTS. I can't tell you how many times I needed a quick meal and found myself here. I spent a summer in Thailand, and I can vouch this is one of the more authentic Thai restaurants. My wife and I visited it again. And my wife loved the Thai fried rice. She wanted to come again! We had a very attentive server too. My favorite is the beef pad Thai with 2-3 spice level. The aesthetic and paintings also made me nostalgic for my time in Chiang Mai Thailand. Cute atmosphere but this restaurant is absolutely not vegan and vegetarian friendly despite options to have tofu as a protein. I tend to go to Thai restaurants bc they typically are vegetarian friendly but the server told me that they use oyster and fish sauce and chicken powder in all of their plates. I asked if they could make anything without it and she didn't even bother to ask the kitchen and told me that it was all premade. It shows them as a restaurant with Vegan Options on Google Maps and they absolutely aren't. If you eat meat I'm sure you would enjoy this place! Very disappointed read more

Not bad but also not memorable. Visited Dallas for a week and on day 2, we were already feigning for Asian food. Did some research and this restaurant had decent reviews. Parking Lot: Very small lot out front. Service: Quick & attentive. Drink: - Thai Tea 2/5: Too sweet and too much milk, one can barely taste the tea. Food: - Spicy Grilled Beef Salad 2/5: Flavor was great but the meat was very dry and chewy. - Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp 2/5: Way too sweet and not sour enough. - Thai Beef Noodle Soup 3/5: Tasted basic with nothing special. Was basically just frozen sliced beef with rice noodles. - Spicy Noodle 2/5: Noodle texture was good but the dish was not spicy at all and a little heavy on the oyster sauce so it was on the sweeter side. - Chicken Fried Rice 1/5: Chicken was very dry. Rice itself was bland and flavorless. Generally, the server will ask how spicy we would like each dish but surprisingly they did not ask at all here. I ordered Ubereats from this restaurant last night and got the following: 1) Pad see ew with tofu - 4/5, noodles had a perfect texture, veggies were not overcooked and it wasn't too sweet - flavor was fragrant and balanced. 2) Pad thai with shrimp - 1/5, no shrimp on my pad thai and the pad thai itself had no flavor, dry and inedible. 3) Basil stir fry with beef - 2/5, pictures look better than the actual dish. I'm a huge fan of baby corn and there was only ONE PIECE of baby corn in this very underwhelming stir fry. 4) Thai papaya salad - 1/5, DRENCHED in palm sugar; it was too sweet. I had to fix it by rinsing the salad under cold water, straining it, and making it properly with fresh lime juice and fish sauce with thai chilies. 5) Green curry with chicken - 4/5 solid dish, tender chicken, great flavor. As you can see, the food quality was all over the place. I placed my order at 6:02pm and got my food at 8:35pm. They took over an hour and a half to compile all my food before notifying my delivery service to pick up (Uber). I think this is why some of the food was cold and some were lukewarm. Even though the pad see ew and green curry was enjoyable, the wait time and inconsistencies in the other dishes will deter me from ordering from them again in the future. read more

My family loves Thai food and seeks out Thai restaurants. This place is a regular stop on our rotation. We particularly like their Tom Kha soup - rich and creamy with a generous amount of chicken and veg. We also like the Kra Paw Kai - which is delicious with rice. From the outside, this unassuming restaurant in a small strip shopping center may not look fancy, or appealing, but trust me, once you experience this place, nothing else compares. Everything from the prompt service, the flavorful entrees, and the welcoming atmosphere, will keep you returning over and over again. Thai Thai deserves a High Five My Wife and I had gone to Thai Thai with a groups of friends for a Sunday lunch. We were excited to go again, this time for dinner! It's a splendid little restaurant with good service and a comfortable aura! The seating is limited due to the space, so I recommend limiting your group size to 6. It has a variety of amazing food! This time I had the pineapple fried rice (Level 4 spice )! Personally, I love spicy food and would probably get it at Level 5 next time. The reason I loved it so much was because the spice meshes well with the sweetness of the pineapple! I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who's more sensitive to spice. I like coconut milk so I enjoyed it but if you don't like it too milky you might want to skip it. It is still insanely flavorful though which I appreciate. My favorite hole-in-the-wall Thai place in Dallas! Perfect place to go to for an authentic warm cooked meal on a casual, easy going night. Ambiance: The restaurant is on the smaller side and doesn't have great decor appeal but it feels homey in a way. There are only a few tables available but they're fairly spaced apart so you can enjoy a private conversation with your friends. I am more of a 'food quality and taste' over 'how a restaurant looks' kind of person so I'm not going to rate the atmosphere too harshly. I rate the ambiance 8.5/10. Food: The food here is SO GOOD. I recommend the Thom Kha soup (hints of coconut + lemongrass, full of vegetables and you can add protein to it as well). I also recommend the Pad See Ew- so DELISH! If you like Pad Thai, you definitely have to try Pad See Ew because it may change your opinion towards pad Thai and you might just get it every time you order Thai food. I also ordered the cashew chicken which was tasty and the red curry which had a little kick to it and was super yummy when paired with white rice. You are able to change the spice levels for any dish which I appreciate as sometimes I like to get more spicer dishes. I rate the food 9.7/10. Service: My waitress was very attentive and checked up on us as we ate. Overall the people running the restaurant are sweet and friendly. I rate the service 9.5/10. Pad Kee Mao - when they say spicy, they mean spicy!! This dish was really good but make sure you can handle what they give you, or at least get a modification. Kau Kai - honestly this just tasted like the pad see ewe to me. Still delicious! But very similar. Kao Soi - such a rich curry! This dish is definitely on the unique side, I don't think I've had it anywhere else before. I love that there were the egg noodles as well as the crispy noodles on top. There was a decent amount of meat. And I had enough to take some leftovers for home! The only thing was that it was so rich, that I had to drink a lot of water throughout. I would just caution you to go down a number or 2 on your spice level. I am usually in the middle, but my mouth would appreciate if I went more mild. Service is always good.
