We were only able to go here twice during our stay in Lake Ann, but that was twice in two days as they changed their hours with the 4th of July so we missed our chance to go a third time. But the staff is great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a very chill vibe and a lot of space to just relax and hang out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They sell local artisan things as well as their own branded items. Their coffee and food is great. I had an Asiago bagel one day and then a croissant breakfast sandwich the next. It is a definite MUST STOP when you are in the area. read more

Sunday morning coffee stop at Red Door Coffee was unimpressive. 3 high school gals running the place, good for them -they were holding it together. But that speaks to the attention to quality. Coffee is Higher Grounds from TC, so they're starting with a good base. But, the syrups are high fructose corn syrup bottled syrups. More importantly, I asked for the milk to be 'not scalded' and I got something very scalded, just shy of 2nd degree mouth burn. We didn't order food; it was a 30 minute wait. And food seems to be their focus. The baked goods don't look housemade; they're Sam's club at best. If you're happy with that, knock yourself out. read more

Excellent!!! Decor is on point, vibe of the coffee shop is relaxed. Great place to remotely work for the day while in town. Staff was also very friendly. Cute place and extremely vegetarian friendly! My husband and I went there every morning while we stayed at Lake Ann. I recommend an iced oat milk latte with some of their lavender syrup- yum! I will say out of the 4 days we were up there we only interacted with one friendly barista. It's not that the others were mean or anything- they just seemed aloof. We drove out our way to stop here and unfortunately it was disappointing. We ordered two muffins, a cold brew and a drip coffee. The drip coffee my husband wanted was gone so he asked if they'd make more. It turned out there was coffee in it but the carafe was missing the pump. The pump was then added to the carafe. The coffee was Luke warm unfortunately we didn't know that until we started driving away. The cold brew had barely any flavor added to it. I was asked while making it if they were putting enough pumps of vanilla in it. I said I guess? I though they'd know the proper balance. I tasted nothing. Then the concentrate was poured into the cup and I was asked if that was enough before they added water to it. Again I have no idea having never been there before. I asked ice be put into it and so little was put into it that it was fully melted by the time we pulled away in the car. The cold brew was weak, flavorless, not cold and watered down. The chocolate chocolate chip muffin is dried out. The blueberry muffin was good. They have cute local goods for sale but I will not return. read more

This wonderful little place has great pastries at a good price. But the owner (or the girl behind the counter) does NOT wear a mask. When asked about it, she was kind of snarky. It was her attitude that was a turn off. If she has health issues, IMHO you should put it ON over your nose when you see someone coming in. We won't be back as she didn't have it on, didn't OFFER TO put it on. read more

What a great little shop out on Ann Lake! We drove here everyday from Maple City to start our day of exploration. They have great hot chocolate and the kids loved having their cinnamon rolls. They serve loose leaf teas and my husband enjoyed their coffee. Friendly staff, cute place! read more

Great coffee, great atmosphere, and a wonderful staff. The coffee at Red Door is always fresh and their specialty drinks are great. I love to stop in and a breakfast sandwich or panini if I need a bite to eat. Absolutely fabulous place to spend your morning. Walk up from your lake cabin and get a nice coffee and some quiet time. Very kid friendly with a whole area sectioned off with books, a play kitchen and art table. Moms can relax because the kids are not able to wander off once in the play area. The coffee is excellent and there are GF options. This is also a nice place to shop for locally crafted jewelry and comfy yoga style clothes. read more
