Comfortable and relaxing. Too bad I don't live closer, this would definitely be a go to place for me. The only negative is the bathrooms. They are very tight and small. The stalls were not measured well and the communal washing area is visible from the general seating. Not a fan but other than that, it's a great spot. read more

As a local, this place exceeded all my expectations. Great beer selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff , family friendly environment and great atmosphere. The wife and I tried two different pizzas and four different beers which were all super tasty. The pizzas came out in a timely fashion and cooked to perfection. This place even serves wine and kombucha for all you non beer drinkers. Do yourself a favor and stop in to check out the coolest place in town. YAY! They're finally open, and it was worth the wait!! We went almost a week ago. Right now the menu consists of their beer, a selection of wine and pizza but we heard from the owners (who are extremely friendly and made time to meet everyone) they plan on expanding their selections. This place ROCKS! My family and I are so excited it's finally open! We were there this weekend and absolutely loved everything about it! The Low Vis hazy IPA WAS delicious! And the pizza was mouth-watering! It was so good, we ordered seconds! The margarita pizza is a must try! Oh man oh man. It's finally here. Fillmore's first ever brewery. To start off our amazing time at the Red Engine Brewing Company (REBC), I ordered El Jefe which was cold and refreshing. While drinking the Mexican lager and enjoying the ambience of what you expect a brewery to provide and more, two delicious homemade pizzas were delivered to our table. The pizzas of choice were the carnivore and kimchi pork belly. Both were fire. The dough was airy and baked to perfection which paired so dang well with their own homemade ranch dressing. Welp, needless to say, we got thirsty again. If you are looking for a variety, order their flight of beers to find which beer fits you the best. Dont be afraid to ask the workers for their opinions as they are so helpful and knowledgeable of the product. It's safe to say that service is really the cherry on top as it can sink or swim any great establishment. We would like to thank Red Engine for making my husband Scott's retirement celebration amazing! Elizabeth, Preston, Brandy, Rico and the entire staff went above and beyond for us! We rented the container room which was a perfect place for us all to gather, yet still have access to the rest of the brewery! The beer is delicious, the food is amazing and the service is excellent! Elizabeth even did a picture collage for Scott's retirement that was displayed throughout the night on their menu boards. An added bonus was that they had live music that night! I really like what they've got started here! the staff is awesome. a few things to note: Audio not only echoes but the sound dispersion was awful. Way too loud to hang with your friends and have a conversation. I would suggest the place not use the installed building audio just to create a better ambiance. Could not even have a conversation and could not stand to stay for more than 30minutes. Due to this glaring issue I'd have a hard time coming back or even trying to plan a get together here. Even thought I would've been down to have another beer and some wings and the sauce! Pizza was good, crust was like chewing bubble gum. Flavor was great but crap what a workout for my jaw! read more

What a great addition to the Fillmore area. We didn't order pizza but it smelled and looked amazing. We enjoyed the Stout and IPA . Flavorful. Great roomy space and family friendly. The server was friendly and fast. They look to be off to a great start. Nice spot to stop on way back from a Ventura outing. The metal high chairs were not super comfortable. Hoping they upgrade the stools, some point to make it more comfortable to enjoy a couple of beers. Beware if the women's bathroom stalls.. You can barely move once you close the door as the toilet essentially almost touches the door. You will have difficulty unless you are a contortionist. read more

My wife and I decided to stop by the Red Engine on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. As we walked into the establishment, we notice several cool things, a retro fire truck in the building, live music and a very clean place. I love hr seating areas as you can pick a table or counter tops. Very impressed with the look of the establishment. As for the beer and food, we were treated by a young g gentleman who provided a good amount of detail information regarding their beers on tap. As I'm a Miller Lite & Coors Light guy, that's what I ask for and was produced two options,,American Light and Battle Wagon. I was able to sample Both beers for free and came upon two beers that I liked, so I got both. Each beer had its own taste and was very light filling. As for my wife, se he enjoyed the Java Bump. The Java had a hint of coffee in it which was to my wife's liking. Also, as we over look the food menu, not a very large menu, but pizza, wings and salad, what more do you need! As in order a pepperoni pizza, it came to me just how I like it, crispy and thin. This pizza was so delicious, that I wanted a second one. As see in my photos, you might think the pizza was burnt, but it wasn't. Overall crispy and delicious. The sauce had a very good flavor to it, that made the pizza taste better. All in all, I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a new brewery and wanna try new beers. A perfect experience which I'm sure my wife and I will be back soon. read more

The anticipation had been building for this one. We finally made our way in this weekend. The service was great. Typical order at the bar brewery. The vibe was good. They had live music, lots of room, and games. Over 12 beer options so that was nice. Where they lost us was on the food. Now it looks good & smells good, but it was lacking in flavor & texture. Second time coming here. It's a 30 minute drive for me to get there, but I would drive even further for a good pizza. We enjoy the beer and I especially love their pepperoni pizza. Just opened and great venue! Large room, well lit, and open to see the brewery where it all happens. Tried 4 beers and all were great. Pizza was very good, with nice selection.
