This had been on my husband's list of breweries he wanted to go to. We walked in and ordered our drinks from the cashier. The service was good. The man that took our order was nice and gave us some suggestions. My husband ordered a flight of beers. I ordered a cider, but I really wish they offered a flight for their ciders as well because they have a large selection of ciders that I wanted to try. They have ample seating inside, but we opted to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful day. We also liked the small bench they had so the kids could sit comfortably. I noticed that they have a room reserved for special occasions. That's a great idea for a party or any type of celebration. My husband and I both enjoyed our drinks and time at this brewery, and we would definitely come back to try something else from their menu.

Why hadn't I updated this!!!! Uggghhhh E! I have been multiple times since my initial review and I must say .... I've always enjoyed my visit. Colton was soooo friendly and talkative as he is genuine about customers having a good time. One of my fave Taco trucks was there El Maíz. Ordered a few tacos and I was set! Not too busy on a Tuesday which was perfect for me! Chill chill! Love the vibes ! Seat indoors or out.

Greta local brewery off of main st. Lots of other stops around so makes for a good central location. Variety of beers on tap! Nice indoor space as well as picnic table outside! Regular food truck schedule with a nice variety! Counter service is fast and friendly!

Love the beers here and the ambiance! Inside is beautifully laid out and decorated and you can see the brew tanks which I always love to see! There are cute tables outside and they had a food truck as well! I remember coming by a few summers ago and they had live music and service was great! I'm always for great recommendations and they we definitely great! Really good beers!

Another stop on the way to Ojai. Good brewery in the middle of downtown Ventura. Very cool vibes with indoor and outdoor seating as well as a free lot. Very convenient location to shops and restaurants but we only came here to drink. Beers were tasty and refreshing.

No idea why it took me so long to visit VCBC, but I have been missing out! VCBC is an awesome brewery! The inside of the brewery is clean and feels inviting. There are a handful of spots to hang out and enjoy beer inside, but there's a ton of outdoor seating available too. There is an outdoor bar to order from too. They have rotating food trucks outside to order food from. There's a room inside that is available to reserve. The room has a large table and TV. We hung out in there and played Jenga, which was at VCBC. VCBC has a variety of different beers. I enjoyed the Arctic Haze beer. This brewery was a lot of fun and I will definitely be returning!

I've heard good things about this brewery. The celebrity clientele and ambience does not disappoint. Was however disappointed with the lack of service I received when simply ordering a second round of drinks. Not being a Local is the vibe I was getting. I hope all visitors don't experience this . With the frustration of parking wars we were enticed to park for free here!! (Posted a picture) That being said the Five stars for Birria Elguero food truck parked out side by the patio dining area. Sal (chef & owner) such people skills! Shared with me his experience in the art of Mexican food and his love for feeding the local community. Sal recommended the Mulita. It did not disappoint The tapatio habanero sauce is dangerously good!! You've been warned!! Maybe I'll give VBC another try. But I will definitely have Sal's Birria ElGuero again! Check out @Chef_suded on IG or pop in and try it out Monday , Wednesday & Saturday in Ventura

VCBC is awesome! They have a ton of options for all beer drinkers, with lots of house made stuff and some collars and guest beers. Staff members were friendly and offered samples and recommendations for more specific preferences. The indoor space is great, plenty of seating and a cool barrel room that you can reserve for a party. I was surprised by the outdoor space! Its massive and there is a bar out back as well. Seems like there is usually a food truck option so you can get some eats but there are tons of other food options walking distance. This is a great spot to meet up with friends, to celebrate a b-day, etc.

Tap 9 - rotating special released every Thursday (this carrot orange pale was very tasty)

Beautiful brewery that is very family friendly and dog friendly! I've been drinking beer here since they first opened (6 years ago?) and love the beverage selections and staff. VCBC is huuuuge with tons of indoor seating, patio seating, a cute little tropical bar in the back, and the lines move fast. There are rotating food trucks, live music, and fun events (art shows, markets, trivia nights, etc.). I enjoy their sour beers, seltzers, love the neighborhood pale ale, and am recently hooked on the smoothie IPA (peach emoji?!). Free parking and metered parking is available downtown. Great place for drinks and special events - I've attended many birthday parties and celebrations here!

Good ambience, many beer selections, lots of space, young vibe My bf is beer person but I don't drink beer that much, so I'm happy they have non alcohol choice. I ordered combucha lol it tastes good. The barrel room looks fun. You can have a small party There is parking and many spaces for street parking in the neighborhood.

Perfect place to hang out near Ventura beach! There are a lot of breweries near by which I like about the area. The cranberry sour beer had a good taste The staff is also friendly and polite

No matter which Topa you walk into, you see familiar faces. There is a real sense of family there, and I would hate to lose that. The Thompson location specifically feels like home. When I lost someone very near and dear to me, Topa became a place where I could breathe again. On the worst days, walking through those doors made things feel just a little lighter. Sometimes it felt like I was holding my breath all day until I got there. There is a steady comfort in that space. Mama mia, that kind of place is rare. I have definitely "invested" ;) my fair share into the pool table and the pinball machine. Trivia nights with the awesome host, the food pop ups, Nicks Smash Burgers and Ramos Tacos are the best. Being introduced to new bands and almost always leaving a live show with a vinyl or CD by the end of their set. It truly is a community. Supporting local artists and seeing the same people show up for each other over and over again is part of what makes it special. And the beer is unreal. I was never much of a beer person, but a few years ago they pulled me in with Moo Bae then the Althlone Ranger, and then the 4 and 20. My current favorite is The Tux. Every time I go in, that is what I get. I loved when they had more dark beers too. Topa Topa opened the door for me into the craft beer world without ever feeling intimidating. Once you find a place where you feel appreciated and respected, where you feel known, you do not want to lose that. A huge part of that for me is seeing my regular beer tenders, Mike, Lea, Marie, and Zion. They are part of what makes walking through those doors feel like coming home. The Thompson location is that kind of place. Really messed up what you did. EDIT- This is nothing against the newer employees of Topa, but has everything to do with corporate. What were you thinking getting rid of 15% of your staff? The people that have helped build the foundation of your brand. The people that build the individual personalities of each taproom. The people that we have gotten to know and they've gotten to know us. Like I said before Topa is a family. I get that the craft beer scene is getting smaller but getting rid of family is so dumb. Your regulars have developed a relationship with these people. It's so disheartening to go now. When we go we aren't greeted by these friendly faces that know us. You'd think you'd focus more on your regulars you know the people that actually spend money here rather than the "next generation". Like I said, this has nothing to do with the new workers. They're nice. But the people we've developed relationships could NEVER be replaced. The lovers of topa topa do not like this. And I've already seen on Reddit people are saying they aren't going back.

I usually order a flight so I can try a few different things, especially their special release beers. Two favorites I've loved during special releases are the Ojai Pixie Citrus IPA and Harvest Swoon Sangria-Style Sour. Both are super flavorful without being overwhelming. Their hard seltzers are also a great option when I'm in the mood for something lighter. The Ojai location has a relaxed, welcoming vibe and shares the space with Little Sama, which makes it an easy place to hang out. They also host community events like trivia nights on Tuesdays, which adds to the fun. A great spot whether you're really into craft beer or just enjoy a casual drink in a laid-back Ojai setting.

The beer was decent, I'm not a super huge beer drinker so the fact that it was drinkable was a plus. For food, I ordered the steak sandwich. The sandwich was served with battered fries and ketchup. The fries were nice and if you're daring, ask for some of their spicy ketchup. It has a really spicy kick to it, I did enjoy it a lot. The steak sandwich was better than average. It was steak strips and bell peppers topped with chimmichuri on sourdough. It came out pretty nice. It wasn't fancy but it made for a tasty sandwich. Service was helpful and friendly. No complaints here .
