Not only did Alvaro find the least invasive way (!!!) to solve my electrical issue (especially after other contractors told me I'd have to break into walls to re-wire), he also took special care to make sure the spaces he worked in were cleaned up before he left. What a treat! He arrived at the agreed upon time (we love punctuality) and was flexible with my appointment change (due to my own illness). I hired a contractor to renovate and after three months I had demoed bathroom and no more. Despite paying for all the rough and finish material upfront to move things along quickly, they barely delivered half the rough material and none of the finish material was ordered. Alvaro came the first day to provide the estimate and was thorough, specific, and communicative. He agreed to help me retrieve the material from the previous contractor as well as correcting some of the wrong material purchases that were made. After providing us with an estimate for a project, Red Fox has gone silent. After contacting this team multiple times to try to schedule the work, we haven't heard from them. I know a lot of home owners like myself are tired of contractors flaking. If you're going to take the time to visit homes and provide an estimate, the least you can do is close the loop. I contacted Alvaro a while ago about renovating and replacing our Bathroom shower/Tub and also our flooring in the upstairs bathroom in a condo. He was very informative about my options, was able to give me a very accurate quote via text and also sent an associate to double check the quote before work begun. His quote was the most inclusive of costs/services than any of the competitors I was able to contact. Some wouldn't even work in condos. He did an amazing job of walking me through the process and explaining each step of the job. If things came up, he gave me guidance and also provided links with what items I may need or suggestions about how to approach the issue. Throughout the process, he and his team of associates worked quickly and accurately, wore masks and made sure to be informative throughout the duration of the build. We were thoroughly satisfied and happy with the build and when we needed some help fixing an issue post-build (our shower trim that was installed wasn't outputting hot enough water), he came back out quickly to help us solve it. Two jobs done in one day! We needed a new showerhead which required plumbing and possible tile work. Also, the insulation in the crawlspace of our townhouse was old and falling down. Alvaro shows up in a mask and estimates the two jobs within days of my Yelp request for a quote. He assessed the two jobs we needed done and even fixed a bathroom vanity that was leaning, no charge. That night he emailed the quote. It was very reasonable including materials. He ordered a special part we needed and came by to double check it would fit. He then scheduled the work, showed up as promised with 3 person masked crew and completed both jobs within 9 hours. They insulated our crawlspace and modified the shower plumbing in the bathroom finding a way to avoid expensive tile work. They cut an access panel and put a door in and perfectly patched another hole they made for the plumbing matching the paint color exact.
