very good food !great service!new restaurant very clean!food prices are reasonable ! Free plum drinks as well!

Omg! This cost 30 bucks!! This is horrible!

I rarely give 1 star reviews but this take out is horrible! 5 stars? Really? We randomly decided to try this place since we were craving hot pot and other places near by won't pick up the phone. Horrible last min decision! FYI the yelp online order doesn't work. They will take the order but end up refunding you 30 mins later. Since we were there, we ordered a pot and paid separately - seafood mushroom soup with fatty beef which came out to be $30 including tax. You can see from the picture how little soup we got and how crappy and over cooked the food was! The ramen was super soggy. What real hot pot restaurant put ramen in with the soup for take out! Come on! You should know better! We literally got maybe a cup of soup? And the soup leaked into the bag and we had to savage the soup from the bag and still only had one cup! Shrimp was super rubbery from being so over cooked. The fatty beef was dry and did not taste fresh. We end up adding our own ramen and beef ball and fish ball in and still the pot was a mess with everything over cooked, soggy and rubbery! I can make a WAY better hot pot at home myself for half the price! Please avoid!

We were in town to visit some friends before heading back to the Bay Area. Found this place via yelp and made reservation via the app as well. Located inside a mall, easy to find and plenty of parking. Great selections of soup base and hot pot items. we ordered sour tomato soup, spicy soup and mushroom base. All were excellent! The meats, seafood and vegetables were very fresh, thinly cut and reasonable portions. We also tried their fried skewers and I have to say I was impressed with it, sometime fried might put people off thinking it's not healthy but they must have some secret ways or ingredients they use which made the skewers taste like they were off the grill..... we were impressed. Overall a great experience dinning here at red hot. Price is reasonable and servers were very attentive and made some great suggestions on what to order. At one point she even told us we might have ordered too much for party of three. Don't forget to check in on yelp to get a free plate of beef! We will be back for sure!

One pot per person, no sharing!

This place deserves 4 star in Rancho area. We ordered the spicy pot and the soup base is flavorful. Raw dishes are all vEry fresh. They do serve deep fried skewers which I must say is kinda disappointing. Stick with the HOT Pots! :)

    Quality u can see.

All finished. Super satisfied with my desire of spicy.

Super satisfied with my desire for spicy. The house special is the hot sour soup base. Will come again.

This place was great. Very clean. Great service. Ordered the mushroom and vegetable combo with the mushroom broth. Only thing is offering some vegetarian broth options would be recommended. The mushroom broth here is made with a bone broth that was tasty. The condiment bar was fresh with a nice offering of sauces. This is a great new place if you want last chinese food and dont want to drive all the way to SGV.

We finally had the time to check out the new hotpot place in Rancho Cucamonga next to the 99 Ranch Market. If you are looking for authentic Chinese hotpot look no more. Excellent choices of ingredients and hotpot base. The prices are reasonable too. Only one waitress but she was very friendly and helpful. She brought us everything we needed quickly. We will be back!

I had a great time with my friends here! We got to have individual pots where we could pick our own soup bases. As a meat lover, I have to say the meat slices are so well cut and so pretty! The pork and beef were not too thick that it was too hard to chew nor too thin that you couldn't feel the texture. It was just right! They also gave a fair portion for the price. This definitely satisfies my meat craving. And the veggies are also fresh too. Definitely would recommend!

This personal hotpot place is new but the food is fresh and the service is friendly. Everyone gets their own pot and can pick their own soup base. The tomato sour soup base was a phenomenal blend of sweet, sour and a tad spicy! Large portions are generally really large and can be shared between 4 or more people. The beef tendon balls, quail eggs, and the three kind of meat combo are my favorites.

    Spicy soup base.

The food is fresh and delicious here. I love the spicy one so much. My husband and I ordered a combo, the food is just right.

This new restaurant offers various broths with combo options. I liked that it's clean and you each have the flat tabletop electric stove you can freely control. You eat in a tall rather than flatter-sized pot. You also have the option to gather sauces and other spices such as leek sauce, minced garlic, and green onion, among many other side choice. There's also a side of soup you can help yourself with and sesame chips and shrimp crackers! I got a double combo with two sides of protein in addition to a seafood platter with vegetables. Broth was good and service was more than friendly - above and beyond with eagerness to help. I'll come back to try other soup bases.

The value is definitely the main highlight, pricing is fair for AYCE and you get a decent variety of meats, veggies, and sides. For a casual hot pot night, it's hard to complain on cost alone. That said, there were a few things that made the experience a bit less smooth. Parking was a challenge since the plaza gets very busy, so it took a while to find a spot. Inside, the setup was also a little confusing at first the hot pot being built into the table takes some getting used to, and it made it slightly awkward to get the soup out comfortably while cooking. Food-wise, it was good, but the refill timing was inconsistent. A few items like meat and fruit ran out faster than expected, and we had to wait a while, sometimes close to 30 minutes for refills to come back out. Service was okay overall, just a bit slow during peak rush. Still, for the price point and AYCE format, it's a good deal. I'd come back, just with lower expectations on speed and pacing. 4 stars mainly for value.

Lowlights: they don't offer bbq - just hot pot. They only have 2 levels - $20 or $45. The basic meat is self-serve, but the premium meats came out all at once. There's a penalty for food waste. We got the premium option for hot pot dinner, all the meats came out at once already portioned for our group of 4. As nice as it is to not have to wait, it doesnt take into account that we would've wanted to pick and choose what to order and maybe abstained from some options to get refills of the options we did like. When the meats all come out at once, it's hard to know which is which. The only obvious distinguished proteins were the seafood, which is presented really nicely. The veggies/noodles/sauce bar weeds well stocked and had the typical toppings you want for your soup. For dinner, the restaurant seemed lean staffed, which was fine since it wasn't busy and we got seated in an obvious spot.

There were so many vegetables to choose from, plus a wide array of noodles and sauces. They offered mussels, imitation crab meat, shrimp, fish cutlets, meatballs, seafood balls, squid, and so much more. There was also a fresh fruit bar and a small selection of desserts, and the meal even came with a complimentary personal cup of ice cream. The restaurant is large, filled with plenty of tables, and very clean--everything feels brand new. While the Latina hostess wearing black spandex pants couldn't manage a smile even though we mentioned we were first-time visitors, the Asian servers were wonderfully kind. To the business owner - Thank you for the delicious meal and the thoughtful ways to elevate our ramen.

He came back to ask us if we were doing ok about four to five times! Bravo to management on service!! 10/10 ITEMS: SCALLOPS, they don't get over cooked and bigger in size compared to other Shabu places. Kelp or seaweed was great. The Spinach noodles and their noodle selections had a nice variety to choose from. Ice cream is complimentary for each person. SAUCE: 8/10 The sesame sauce was watery. Personally, living in SGV, there's way more options for the value point, so that factored in as well. However, I do have to say that service was good. Lots of smiles and it was inviting. It's popular with the community it's located in. We went on a week day night. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Good amount of other customers at table and counter bar seating. We got counter seating for 3 people. No wait. For our dinner, we got the: spicy miso tonkotsu, miso, and the sukiyaki broths, which were all decently solid. A bit light, but not too salty or dehydrating at the least. We all used sauce generously with our order, so maybe we should have sipped more soup or cooked more things in it longer? But we've never had this issue with other shabu places I've been to. For meats, we got the regular sized for all and had the angus beef chuck prime, beef toro, and lamb. Decent quality meat. Slices weren't too thin or too thick. Meat didn't cook and dry up immediately like worse places I've been to. All of our food came with a veggie plate and I will admit some of the lettuce/cabbage leaves weren't the cleanest or crispest so we didn't eat as much of the veggies as we'd like... We also ordered nigiri sushi on the side, which is just okay. Usually we wouldn't get something like that unless it came with the meal like an AYCE. Decent quality salmon, lots of rice and extra arbs on top of your meal though. Overall, it's okay.
