    Chicken karaage (small)
    Serena N.

I think this ramen place is average at best. I ordered a small chicken karaage, and it came with only four pieces, which was pretty unimpressive. The ramen strangely included spinach, and the broth lacked creaminess or any depth of flavor--it was simply salty and smelled a bit fishy. On the positive side, the restaurant is spacious and can accommodate a lot of people. However, there is basically no service here; you just order, they bring out the food, and that's it.

Parking: Large parking lot in strip mall Ambience: Entirely empty when we arrived for a Monday lunch happy hour, although a few people started coming in soon afterwards. Fairly packed another time when I came in on a Friday night though! Service: Standard, no complaints! Taste: I've tried this restaurant 2 separate times, and have to say that I wasn't impressed either time. I expect ramen eggs to be soft-boiled, rich, and golden brown. As you can see from the picture, it was hard-boiled. Spinach was placed in raw. I thought the ramen, broth, and pork were alright.

Came in for a family dinner... we were seated right away (party of 8). It was a nice and quiet even though there were other patrons there. Ordered and food came quickly. Everything was good. SERVICE was great and friendly. Ambiance was fitted to the restaurant. Definitely would return.

The food and service are top-tier, I came here for the first time a few days ago, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since Lin is such an amazing and friendly person and the food is out of this world phenomenal, affordable price

The ramen here was really good! I definetely recommend it. We came on a weekday and we were seated right away. The broth was good and the chashu wasn't too fatty.

Our visit to Ramen Matsua was pretty disappointing. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet it took a while for someone to take our order, and even longer for the food to arrive. When the ramen finally came out, the broth wasn't even hot, it felt like it had been sitting out. I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen (#1), but instead of the typical chashu pork, it came with a thick slice of pork. They did offer us a complimentary order of "Japanese French Fries," which was a nice gesture, but they tasted just like Rally's fries which is not what I'd expect. We've had Japanese fries sprinkled with furikake before, so this was a letdown. We ended up leaving after just a few bites. Would not visit again.

Amazing ramen. If you're looking noodle, look no further. Great service, even better noodles. Napkins are NOT a premium here. Available at all times of the visits. Get the gyoza, you won't regret it (caution: hot and fresh) Honestly, get anything and you won't regret it. -Sincerely, Jamandy

If there is one thing I love about Ramen Madura is their ability to deliver a consistently, delicious ramen that hits the spot. You know the spot. I probably need the spot hit about once or twice a week, and though I try other places, here and there, lately it's just been like... "let's just go to Musuta" cause you KNOW that everyone is trying to do the ramen thing but some people just get it right. Consistently! I love that they have weekly specials so you can try something every week. My husband tried their pork cutlet and quite enjoyed it. Their bobas and teas are also quite good! I don't know how they make their boiled egg but it's my favorite and I just have to honorable mention it! Masuta staff is friendly and helpful. They are quick, even when they're busy. The restaurant is always nice and clean and presentable! It's definitely a cute lunch spot.

I had the tonkatsu ramen and chicken karaage. Good flavor ramen and the chicken karaage was pretty good!

You know it's a bad sign when you sit down in the table to the left of you has left most of their food partially consumed. I tried this out because of high ratings. Getting in was very easy. I didn't experience any difficulties with finding parking. The waitress was very quick to take her order however, I feel she might've been the only person working. It took 30 minutes for us to get our appetizer even though there were only two other small parties in the restaurant. Our Ramen came out faster than that, but it still turned 20 minutes. I got the soup was lacking the flavor, the noodles were very soft and squishy, and left a lot to be desired. My order was even put in wrong.I had asked for a spicy order and it was plain. The eggs are not soft at all, they are hard boiled. The pork was also devoid of flavor. As far as the appetizer I got the pan fried gyoza and karaage. The Gyoza overall was pretty good and I did like a lot. The chicken on the other hand, while it was good, the sauce felt like it was thin and watered down. At the beginning of my experience, I had ordered a hot green tea. It took over 40 minutes of waiting for it to finally reach the temperature where I was able to drink it. I'm sure this restaurant is better when it's fully staffed, but overall the quality of the food, the wait time, And the service was severely lacking, not to mention there were several dirty tables. I wouldn't not go back again and I can't in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you're looking for Ramen, please go somewhere else.

Good music playing inside a clean restaurant that has plenty of seating. The menu has different types of Ramen amongst other delicious sides and entrees. They have daily happy hour that's an all day thing Monday-Thursday so I've come twice on a Thursday for their spicy miso ramen and chicken ramen. And for $12 each, it can't be beat. Not only is it reasonable, it also tastes good!

My oldest and I were craving ramen and my youngest doesn't eat ramen, but we thought we'd try this place out. They offer a chicken karaage which is a fried chicken, so I thought my youngest would enjoy that. I went with the shoyu and added spicy for 99 cents. My oldest decided to not get ramen and went with the curry rice and added pork belly. I ordered for pickup and was pleased with how well everything was packaged. Unfortunately, everything tasted pretty flavorless. For having paid extra for spicy, I didn't get much spice and the ramen was overall bland. My oldest didn't even get her pork belly, which I paid extra for as well. She also stated her meal was bland and proceeded to squeeze a lemon and add her own seasoning to try and remedy it. My youngest said her chicken was good but not great. Maybe it was an off day or the place is better for dining in, but I'm not sure we will be back.

I'm so glad we did because it ended up being one of the best ramen spots I've tried in the area. The noodles were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of chew, and the broth was rich and flavorful without being overly heavy or greasy. It wasn't watered down either. The pork slice were seriously thick! Honestly thicker than what I've gotten at some BBQ restaurants. Even with the generous cut, the pork was incredibly tender and easy to bite through without feeling tough at all. I also asked if they could make my ramen extra spicy, and they absolutely delivered. The added heat complemented the broth instead of overpowering it, which made the whole bowl even more addictive. This is def one of those places that exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

The bamboo shoots, perfectly cooked for richness egg, the pickled ginger, and other toppings offer the fresh variety of flavors and textures that add to the whole delectable ramen experience. The noodles are perfectly cooked for ultimate slurpiness. They have the Goldilocks effect: never mushy, never underdone - they're just right. Now the broth. It's a make or break for a ramen shop. Their ramen is rich, depthy, umami loving goodness. I can - and have - drink it from the container all by itself, where each mouthful is worth savoring, allowing it to take center stage. For my pick-up, the service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant had not been open long, but call orders were steady, folks coming in for their pick ups, , and a few diners were lunching in. Clearly we're not the only ones who love it! For a to-go order, I appreciate how well their containers seal. I also appreciate how they package their ramen ready to go - just pour the broth and slurp away!

It just has soy, soy mixed sauce, chili oil, and black vinegar. I ordered the Wide Hand Pulled Noodles, Green and Onion Pot Stickers, and the Beef Rolls. Wide Hand Pulled noodles were ok. Honestly not much to brag about. I thought the noodles were cooked well but the flavor didn't really stand out to me. I believe it's served with chili oil, a mound of minced garlic and some vegetables. Outside of those ingredients I thought it needed more flavor or substance. The beef rolls were ok to me as well. I liked how crispy the roll was and size. Good portions of sliced beef served with cilantro. It was refreshing but the meat was generally cold with some warmness provided by the roll. But that quickly faded. Would prefer it to be warmer. The highlight was the pot stickers. Beef and onion were good. Really enjoyed the presentation of the dish. The edges of the pot sticker were really thick. Almost chip like. I enjoyed it as much as the dish itself. Would get it again. Overall I thought the food was ok.
