    Chicken karaage (small)
    Serena N.

I think this ramen place is average at best. I ordered a small chicken karaage, and it came with only four pieces, which was pretty unimpressive. The ramen strangely included spinach, and the broth lacked creaminess or any depth of flavor--it was simply salty and smelled a bit fishy. On the positive side, the restaurant is spacious and can accommodate a lot of people. However, there is basically no service here; you just order, they bring out the food, and that's it.

The food and service are top-tier, I came here for the first time a few days ago, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since Lin is such an amazing and friendly person and the food is out of this world phenomenal, affordable price

Parking: Large parking lot in strip mall Ambience: Entirely empty when we arrived for a Monday lunch happy hour, although a few people started coming in soon afterwards. Fairly packed another time when I came in on a Friday night though! Service: Standard, no complaints! Taste: I've tried this restaurant 2 separate times, and have to say that I wasn't impressed either time. I expect ramen eggs to be soft-boiled, rich, and golden brown. As you can see from the picture, it was hard-boiled. Spinach was placed in raw. I thought the ramen, broth, and pork were alright.

Came in for a family dinner... we were seated right away (party of 8). It was a nice and quiet even though there were other patrons there. Ordered and food came quickly. Everything was good. SERVICE was great and friendly. Ambiance was fitted to the restaurant. Definitely would return.

The ramen here was really good! I definetely recommend it. We came on a weekday and we were seated right away. The broth was good and the chashu wasn't too fatty.

Our visit to Ramen Matsua was pretty disappointing. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet it took a while for someone to take our order, and even longer for the food to arrive. When the ramen finally came out, the broth wasn't even hot, it felt like it had been sitting out. I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen (#1), but instead of the typical chashu pork, it came with a thick slice of pork. They did offer us a complimentary order of "Japanese French Fries," which was a nice gesture, but they tasted just like Rally's fries which is not what I'd expect. We've had Japanese fries sprinkled with furikake before, so this was a letdown. We ended up leaving after just a few bites. Would not visit again.

Amazing ramen. If you're looking noodle, look no further. Great service, even better noodles. Napkins are NOT a premium here. Available at all times of the visits. Get the gyoza, you won't regret it (caution: hot and fresh) Honestly, get anything and you won't regret it. -Sincerely, Jamandy

If there is one thing I love about Ramen Madura is their ability to deliver a consistently, delicious ramen that hits the spot. You know the spot. I probably need the spot hit about once or twice a week, and though I try other places, here and there, lately it's just been like... "let's just go to Musuta" cause you KNOW that everyone is trying to do the ramen thing but some people just get it right. Consistently! I love that they have weekly specials so you can try something every week. My husband tried their pork cutlet and quite enjoyed it. Their bobas and teas are also quite good! I don't know how they make their boiled egg but it's my favorite and I just have to honorable mention it! Masuta staff is friendly and helpful. They are quick, even when they're busy. The restaurant is always nice and clean and presentable! It's definitely a cute lunch spot.

I had the tonkatsu ramen and chicken karaage. Good flavor ramen and the chicken karaage was pretty good!

You know it's a bad sign when you sit down in the table to the left of you has left most of their food partially consumed. I tried this out because of high ratings. Getting in was very easy. I didn't experience any difficulties with finding parking. The waitress was very quick to take her order however, I feel she might've been the only person working. It took 30 minutes for us to get our appetizer even though there were only two other small parties in the restaurant. Our Ramen came out faster than that, but it still turned 20 minutes. I got the soup was lacking the flavor, the noodles were very soft and squishy, and left a lot to be desired. My order was even put in wrong.I had asked for a spicy order and it was plain. The eggs are not soft at all, they are hard boiled. The pork was also devoid of flavor. As far as the appetizer I got the pan fried gyoza and karaage. The Gyoza overall was pretty good and I did like a lot. The chicken on the other hand, while it was good, the sauce felt like it was thin and watered down. At the beginning of my experience, I had ordered a hot green tea. It took over 40 minutes of waiting for it to finally reach the temperature where I was able to drink it. I'm sure this restaurant is better when it's fully staffed, but overall the quality of the food, the wait time, And the service was severely lacking, not to mention there were several dirty tables. I wouldn't not go back again and I can't in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you're looking for Ramen, please go somewhere else.

Good music playing inside a clean restaurant that has plenty of seating. The menu has different types of Ramen amongst other delicious sides and entrees. They have daily happy hour that's an all day thing Monday-Thursday so I've come twice on a Thursday for their spicy miso ramen and chicken ramen. And for $12 each, it can't be beat. Not only is it reasonable, it also tastes good!

My oldest and I were craving ramen and my youngest doesn't eat ramen, but we thought we'd try this place out. They offer a chicken karaage which is a fried chicken, so I thought my youngest would enjoy that. I went with the shoyu and added spicy for 99 cents. My oldest decided to not get ramen and went with the curry rice and added pork belly. I ordered for pickup and was pleased with how well everything was packaged. Unfortunately, everything tasted pretty flavorless. For having paid extra for spicy, I didn't get much spice and the ramen was overall bland. My oldest didn't even get her pork belly, which I paid extra for as well. She also stated her meal was bland and proceeded to squeeze a lemon and add her own seasoning to try and remedy it. My youngest said her chicken was good but not great. Maybe it was an off day or the place is better for dining in, but I'm not sure we will be back.

Ramen is not the best. Noddles are not so good, and I've legit never seen corn & a big random leaf in ramen until here.

If ordering to go do we have to go in because no one is answering the phone?

sorry for that, we do offer online ordering www.ramenmasuta.com just incase we miss your call thank you

How come no one ever answers the phone? You guys should provide a different phone number for your customers.

Will you offer beef as a meat option in the future?

I think I would go with the beef option, but not to knock the other options. I just didn't try them out , but I am sure they would be good too.

When are you going to offer the Mayu black garlic oil? How can one eat ramen without this?

We are currently working on prototypes of different black black garlic oil, once we perfect it we will have it on the menu hopefully soon

Are any of your options vegan-friendly?

Our vegetarian Ramen is now fully vegan, the tomato ramen and shoyu ramen can also be made into vegan upon request of the customer. Please get thin white noodles as they are 100% vegan instead of the thick wavy noodles which has egg in it. Thank you

    Do you have vegan ramen?

This is a two part answer, our thin white noodles are 100% wheat and have no egg or any other protein. We have modified 3 of our soup bases to accommodate vegan choices our Garlic Shoyu, Vegetarian, and Tomato Ramen are now vegan friendly. Some of…

    Do you have bento boxes?

No sorry we are trying to stay consistent with a ramen motif, but later we may add bento boxes if demand is high enough

Do you have gluten free ramen?

at this time no, but we may carry in the near future

Til when is soft-opening? I'm guessing you guys are closed tomorrow 9/9/18 Sunday

When will be the grand opening? And hours of op?

Currently we are still in Soft Opening so our hours of operation will be mon-fri 11am-9pm and saturday 12pm-9pm closed sundays. We are looking to expand hours once we do our Grand Opening in a month or so, we want the menu items to be dialed in to…

It's typically a busier mall, so I expected a wait, but we got seated pretty quickly. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but we opted for inside. The service was relatively quick and smooth. The staff was pretty attentive and moved quickly. The food was good, I have eaten it before. It looks small in terms of portion size but was pretty decently filling. We got a combo that came with an appetizer (we opted for the broccolini (not pictured because we devoured it pretty quickly). It comes with sesame sauce and is charred pretty well. Really enjoyed that. Main course wise, we got the Shoyu Ramen with Pork and Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl, both which were super yummy. We also got a pint of beer and green tea for drinks, and it was good altogether. I'd say this is a pretty casual spot so no need to dress up. Seating can be a bit tight and it can get sunny due to the open windows without shades, but otherwise, pretty lax and chill spot for lunch or dinner.

I put my number in to get notifications and it didn't work, completely pointless.
