    Vanilla Velvet

Stopped in on a spur of the moment and ordered their Vanilla Velvet Hot coffee which tasted freshly brewed! Very quiet location for a grab and go experience! Parking available and conveniently located off Sunrise Highway.

I have been here a few times. The staff seem knowledgeable and friendly. The coffee is good. They had a chalk board of holiday specials with cute holiday names. Such as the grinch and polar express. I chose the polar express. It was good. One side of the board has hot specials and one side has iced. I love that there are so many flavors to chose from. I like the fact that it is not added syrup but the coffee beans are infused with the flavor. Will go again. Give it a try. You will thank me.

Finally made the trek out here after months of waiting, and truthfully, I think I may stay in my neighborhood. The positives: really an expansive menu. If you're looking for dessert lattes or coffees, you've come to the right place! There are even seasonal varieties if you are not feeling the regular menu. The latte itself is not cloyingly sweet, and each one does a good job conveying what flavor it is. The hot cookie butter latte, had a thick foam, a dusting of biscoff powder on the top, sweet latte in between and cookie butter at the bottom. The negatives: I never ordered a cookie butter latte. I ordered a chipwich latte and I guess my order got mixed up. The hot lattes, are not as pretty as their iced counterparts sadly. So if you're going for insane showpieces, I would stick to the iced versions. The service was ok but mainly my reason for 3 stars is that, I just don't think its worth the trek to get there. If you live in the area, 1000% recommend coming here if you love sweet lattes. But if you're from the other side of the island, you can pretty much get the same fare at The Bean or Coffee Booths.

You know me and that I am always down to try the latest coffee spots around town. I found this spot after arriving way too early at my accountant's and needing time to kill. I was just about to go inside when a big group of teens strolled in, so I decided to wait outside for a bit until they cleared out. Their menus are really small to read (for me at least) and it wasn't denoted if they have any sugar free flavors. They had to have at least 50 or more flavors to mix in with your coffee, but, very hard to discern. I tried even looking online to see if they had anything on their site or here with the flavors that way I didn't have to take so long looking at the board. No dice. So, I just stuck to what I knew would work for me, iced coffee with almond milk. Very basic to order, but good way to discern if you like them or not.

Came for the first time today. And I cannot wait to come back TOMORROW!! I don't know how they make non sweet coffee taste good, seriously. It was delicious. Caramel iced coffee with whole milk. The coffee beans are the flavor, no artificial sweeteners or syrups. Huge menu and very friendly staff. Two tables inside and very spaced out and clean. My little one loved the wrapped cookie treats! PS, it's a cozy coffee shop tucked away in a small parking lot so you might miss it when driving down Merrick

    Iced French toast coffee

A spot that advertises over 50 flavors of iced coffees on the window is def my jam! Traveled quite far to check this place out and I was more than happy when the very friendly cashier told me everything was sugar free! I was so happy I didn't have to cheat on my diet to snag a specialty drink for once! I went with a medium iced French toast with unsweetened almond milk and truvia. It was tasty but not an overwhelming amount of flavor. I still enjoyed it but it was pricey for just an iced coffee. I would try other things but it's not local to me and I will not be rushing back for an overpriced drink too often but if I'm in the area I'll give it another shot.

    Dirt?

This is gross if you ask me. The girls re made the drink once and there was stuff in it again so they made a different flavor and there was still hair and whatever the brown stuff is floating in it. I was refunded and girls didn't give me a hard time but this is very unsanitary.

    Peanut butter cup "latte", lolololol

Suppose it's a "coffee" place, they technically have coffee. Otherwise it's a candy store that serves coffee. Looking up at the menu you would think it was some kind of diabetic hell and not a coffee place. The menu listed what resembled candy and snack bar items. It was little over the top, for me at least. The far left menu of the three has what is important - coffee, espresso, lattes. There was a chalk board special of peanut butter cup latte. I thought that sounded interesting, latte and peanut butter - all the things I like. So I gave it a try. It's only available iced - ok. Several minutes go by and I was thinking they were just pouring some espresso over ice with some frothed milk and maybe a creative mix of pumped syrups - but no, what came out was not a latte. Not at all. My friend laughed so hard when it came out because it's nothing I would ever order in a million years. See picture. I also ordered a regular hot latte as back up, and glad I did. The regular hot latte was good. Inside is minimalist, clean, adorned with clever coffee wall art and knick-knacks. The baristas are all top notch and know what they are doing - maybe they previously worked at the ice cream sundae or candy shop.

Iced Cinnamon Cappuccino Coffee and Iced Lucky Charms Latte

Very unique coffee shop with over 50+ flavors between their iced coffees, lattes, matchas, and lotuses! My mom and I came by on a Saturday afternoon and we got lucky that there was no wait, but at the same time it was empty. My mom wanted an iced cappuccino; however, unlike many other coffee shops they were unable to make her one. She settled for an iced cinnamon cappuccino flavored coffee with skim milk, but she wanted the foam from the cappuccino. It was a good caffeine jolt for sure. I ordered the iced Lucky Charms latte with skim milk. The presentation was incredible with actual lucky charms cereal and marshmallows, whipped cream, a giant colorful marshmallows on top. It was definitely more of a dessert drink than a coffee, but you could definitely taste the shots of espresso inside. It was absolutely delicious if you're looking for a way to spice up your coffee cravings!

Banana bread with oat milk. So good!

Promise you won't be upset with one of their iced coffee flavors (I suggest any candy bar type to start). So far I've tried 10 flavors, all with oat milk and no sugar, and I fall in love more and more. The staff are always friendly, they love giving my pup a pup cup. I also love that they sell local bakery items. Don't forget, you can get the flavors as a bean to bring home!!

    Rita Special w/ Oat Milk

So. Many. Options. But as soon as I saw the "Rita Special" I knew I had to get it. That was my Mom's name. Double fudge and English toffee. It did not disappoint. The owner and girls working could not have been kinder. Will absolutely be back!

    Toasted marshmallow iced latte

Delicious coffee, love that you can mobile order. Friendly employees, will go back again soon. I had the toasted marshmallow iced latte and my friend had the lucky charms latte. Both were great, can't wait to try other flavors.

Would give this place 3.5 stars if half stars were allowed. The staff is super friendly here and it's really cute inside. They have a bunch of flavors and have nondairy milks as well to accommodate vegans or people who are lactose intolerant. They also have a huge list of flavor options to pick from and you can mix and match in one drink. They also make the drinks decently quick and there is seats to sit inside or work. On the other hand, the coffees are pricey and they honestly are very watered down tasting. There has been alot of hype around how many flavors they offer and The flavors are unsweetened which is a good thing, but they really don't come through too much - the whole thing just tastes like coffee that had flavor in it but almost as if the ice already melted inside. My coffee was decent, but my sister and my mom said their drinks really didn't taste like anything to them. I don't know if that means that you need to add sugar to these drinks for the flavor to come out. I wish they offered all of the flavors in lattes because I think that would be much better with combating the watered down taste. I enjoyed my experience but for the same price as other coffee shops, they need to punch up the flavor a bit.

I've been seeing a lot of videos on Instagram so I definitely wanted to try it for myself. A location in Albertson, NY is opening soon. There are some March exclusives available only this month. I stopped by on a Sunday around 2:00pm. There are two drive-through lanes and there were cars in both. The menu consists of iced tea/lemonade, coffee, specialty lattes, dirty sodas, and water. I pulled up to the drive-through window and ordered the Lucky Charmed Latte with the staff member. My husband ordered a hazelnut mocha iced latte. The drinks didn't take long to be prepared and were very yummy. I really liked the addition of Lucky Charms marshmallows and whipped cream on top of the latte. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but the latte had a good ratio of espresso and milk and it was very good. I definitely want to be back to The Barn in Merrick to try other drinks!

I've only been to the barn a couple of times & was expecting the drink to be less than $10. The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because the iced latte came out to $13 for an average sized drink with a small Pignoli cookie on top. The drink tasted good, but not where I would say it was worth the price they charged for it. Other than that the owner was friendly as usual as was the young lady who took my order.
