    Nana and Birthday girl !

We had my granddaughters 18th birthday party there on July 5th.The food was delicious from the appetizers to the main course. The service was impeccable. The waitress who was a very talented singer serenaded my granddaughter the happy birthday song, the overall experience was amazing. Thank you to the staff and management for making her birthday special.

Ambience. A Service. B Food. A Price. A End of Jan 2024. Time to use up my coupons and gift card from holidays. $10 off $40 tab Jan coupon. Host was quick to seat. Ended up underneath an air condition vent. Had to move to alcove. Where it was much warmer. Service was friendly and swift once she spotted me. Immediate placed order as I knew the my order. Gen mgr came around and checked to make sure all was good. Nice touch. Gotta love those endless butter biscuits crispy fluffy and buttery. Coleslaw was fresh and crisp crunch cabbage. I added more pepper and hot sauce to give a twang.

Service was good. Food was awful. This is the seafood stuffed mushrooms. Not one piece of seafood on here. Super salty and floating in butter. I'd highly recommend to avoid this dump. I can see why they are closing. If I could I'd give them zero stars

As a kid, I would be super excited to hear we were going to Red Lobster ! Years later...My husband was like you know there are other restaurants! We slowed down and even stopped going to endless shrimp . Well today, I was like I want Red Lobster! I was sad to find out the taste did not seem the same. The waitress forgot to bring out my bread but I reminded her to do so. It looked so good but wasn't the best. On the other hand, I am going to give it another chance.

Biscuits are fire. Very cheesy and Garlicy.

Decent food with excellent service. I always love their shrimp and their drinks are pretty potent. Very cozy and clean environment

Great location for getting a birthday dessert for your birthday.I came to downtown to really get chinese from Happy China 2 and thought of getting my freebie which I was down there.I actually thought this time I'd get a chance to pick which item from the app and to my great surprise I got the Chocolate Wave Cake which was so delicious. It came with ice cream which unfortunately melted in the heat. But overall It was such a wonderful experience and really great dessert.

I went to this Red Lobster to check out their fish and chips. I have to say, it is much better than the fish and chips at the Washington road site. The staff is very good. They are very friendly, and they treat you like a guest, not an inconvenience. The little cheese biscuits are pretty good. I like those. The coleslaw is bland. It is pretty much shredded cabbage. It needs some dressing up. I was not impressed. The actual fish and chips was not bad. The fish was a little bit on the overcooked side, and it was a little greasy. The breading was very good. Just the right amount of breading. The french fries were just French fries. They could use a little more crisping. That's what makes it fish and chips. The bathrooms are very clean. You could tell people maintain them. I would probably come back someday. Maybe even for a lobster. They're lobsters are very expensive, so they better be good.

I've been coming here for years whenever Im in town! Came in today for the lunch special with my some of my extended church fam. Food was spot on (I was too hungry to take a pic) Our waiter Tim was super nice, friendly and kind, service was great, it was a wonderful experience

This establishment gets 5 stars from me! Friendly greeters upon entering. Had called in to be added to the waitlist. Overheard that some staff called off for the day but however this didn't effect their service or quality of food. We were early so there was a wait time--10 min past our time of reservation. But when we were seated Tamika, our server was pleasant and very prompt with our order. Everything we ordered was fresh and hot-cooked to order. The coconut shrimp are a hit indeed as well as the coconut-ish dipping sauce. Hubby had fried calamari and it was plenty to share plus cooked to perfection (not rubbery like some restaurants that overcook it). Great atmosphere, food, and attentive service. They never missed a beat or slacked on service even though they were short-staffed. Kudos to management and the staff!! This made our date/concert night enjoyable! Definitely will frequent this Red Lobster again.

It's been years since I've been to red lobster. It wasn't that bad. I had the lobster roll and a side salad it was pretty darn good.

There is plenty of parking. I'm not sure why it's called "at the river" bc I didn't see a river. There is inside and an outside enclosed area for seating when you enter from the parking lot. It is decorated like a casual bar and grill. My server was in training but friendly and worked alongside his trainer head server. For beverages, I ordered the oyster shooter and that Bloody Mary did not disappoint. I also had a Black Raspberry Margarita. This seems to be a thing in Augusta for Margaritas as well as this was the 2nd restaurant I went to and had this. The other place was better though. But let's talk about the food! The catfish was super tasty. They gave me fries although I didn't order them, and of course I still ate them. I had a side of baked potato salad. I should've asked why they're baked, but that was just okay. I had the TASTE OF BEAMIES- chicken & shrimp gumbo, black eyed pea jambalaya, shrimp and grits, my fav's in order were the chicken and shrimp gumbo, the shrimp and grits, then the black eyed pea jambalaya. I also ordered the 1/2 dozen Rockefeller oysters and they were amazing. The hush puppies that came with them were just okay. Overall, I enjoyed this meal.

The food reminded me of pub food. Funny. I told my wife I dont care for pub food,. Well..... Now the Key Lime Pie was great, and the waitress was very accommodating and nice. Great service. We sat in the enlosed porch, thinking it would be quieter. Nope. In fact, I had visions I was at a convention. My wife and I had much difficulty conversing. I guess we chose the wrong place to sit. And no, there weren't many patrons. It was an experience. Expected more. Doubt I would try again.

Now to the food, 10/10 I could not recommend them enough. I've had the honey lemon pepper wings and the loyalty platter. And it was so good. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I've also had a few nibbles of their seafood and ‍. Then when you're ready for dessert, don't worry you get samples too. From the moment you see the brick building and walk inside, you get this warm, classic Georgia café vibe. It is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It is the kind of place you want to slow down and enjoy. We came in for lunch and everything was outstanding. I had the Curious George, which is turkey topped with spinach dip and provolone cheese on sourdough bread. It was absolutely fantastic. Warm, savory, and perfectly balanced, it felt like true comfort food done right. It also came with a fresh side salad and great dressing that honestly could have been a meal on its own. My boys ordered the chicken quesadilla and nachos, and both were big wins. The quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. The nachos were fully loaded with seasoned beef, black beans, melted cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plus salsa and ranch on the side. The portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. Then came the desserts. We tried chocolate cake, carrot cake, and red velvet cake. We ordered half slices and they were still huge. Every single one was incredible. The red velvet and carrot cake were made with real cream cheese frosting. The carrot cake was rich and moist. The chocolate cake was deeply decadent. Pairing the carrot cake with a cup of their coffee was the perfect finish. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and exactly what you want with dessert. We were also lucky enough to be taken care of by Reagan, who was incredibly kind, beautifully stylish, and so helpful with my boys and me. She gave great recommendations on dishes and portion sizes. Her warmth and attention truly elevated the entire experience. Between the cozy atmosphere, outstanding food, unforgettable desserts, and exceptional service, Boll Weevil is now officially a must stop every time we are in Augusta. Come hungry. I ended my meal with their carrot cake and it was moist, not overly sweet, and had a great savory taste. I really enjoyed my time here and certainly will be back again.
