This restaurant is terrible they made my friends alcoholic beverage way to strong she couldn't drink it we got our food and my dad ask for a box for my food and the waitress said no because my dad and mom got endless shrimp and then I ask for a box and they said yes and it took about 30 minutes for our boxes and I asked for some to go biscuits took about 20 more minutes and also our waitress literally ran away from us multiple times and my mother got harassed when she asked for another shrimp platter and the manger was very disrespectful to my dad please never go to the red lobster the are very judgemental and disrespectful and annoying and charged us for a dessert thats we didn't even buy tables are falling apart they were held together with duck tape and gorilla glue. read more

I ordered calamari. When it came, they said they were out of the dipping sauce. Apparently I was either expected to eat it without sauce or I was supposed to order ranch or something like that. I couldn't believe it. I said if I can't have the sauce that is on the menu that comes with calamari then I don't want it. I'd also ordered a cup of clam chowder. That cup was probably about 2 oz and had no clams in it whatsoever except for one tiny smush of a bite and it didn't have a lot of flavor. It was a major disappointment and it caused $6.99 which I thought for the quantity and the quality that was way overpriced. When I couldn't get my sauce with the calamari and and return the dish basically having no other choice., I thought they would basically let me go with no charges but no I still got charged the $6.99 for the lousy clam chowder and $3 for a diet Pepsi. Additionally there were all sorts of crumbs and crap all over the floor next to our booth. No one bothered to pick it up. There were puddles in the toilet area of the ladies room. The place was basically empty and it's no wonder. Major improvements needed here. read more

It's very quiet at this location and we were seated quickly. Service was great, our waitress was very attentive and nice! The food is lackluster though. The lobster dip was very plain. The biscuits weren't fully cooked. The broccoli was alright, mashed potatoes disgusting and the baked flounder wasn't seasoned at all but the seafood dressing inside was good and saved the dish. Overall I wouldn't rush back but Red Lobster every now and again just seems right lol. read more

Service was terrible. Waitresses walking around talking with each other. After 30+ minutes of waiting we had 2 biscuits (without butter). Our drinks were waiting on the bar getting warm for 15 minutes without any of the other 8 tables wait for drinks. Only 2 tables had food and all the others were waiting longer than us. The bartender cannot make a simple Martini. We left and ate at the Black Cow one of our favorites in Columbus GA and had a great lunch. read more

Our waitress sat us down , said she would be with us shortly & waited 25 minutes before she even came to get our drink / appetizer order which took another 30 minutes to get . The bread came out on a dirty plate & we ended up paying for our drinks & leaving before our food came out after waiting nearly a hour , mind you there were only 3 tables of people in the restaurant & now I see why . Red Lobster used to be a classic favorite, but it has definitely gone downhill. I saw the ads for their new seafood boil bags and decided to give it a try--but I wish I hadn't. It was by far the worst seafood I've ever had. The shrimp were overcooked and mushy, and they only offered two seasoning options--both of which were awful. The drink I ordered was so strong it tasted like gasoline. I was seriously disappointed, especially since I waited until payday to treat myself. Total waste of money and time. To make matters worse, there was only one server working the floor while other staff just stood around. The wait for both food and service was ridiculously long, only for the food to be terrible. Just departed from Red Lobster on 13th Street, Columbus, GA around 5:30PM. I ordered online, in fact while I was in the parking lot for Curbside service. The Rep who took my order was very knowledgeable, patient, eager to help, most polite. I ordered in this sunny Friday, Feb. 28, 2025 Fried Shrimp, Garden Salad, Biscuits (2), loaded potato, strawberry lemonade. Plenty of beautiful food, condiments, beverage. Packed in keepsake bags. Very enjoyable meal . Ms. Miranda brought my order to the car, she was very polite, mannerable and has been there for 20 ish years. RL is blessed to have such a pleasant, caring employee. my sister and I ate there last night against our better judgement. the bartender came to our table and asked us what would we like to drink, my sister ordered a margarita frozen lime. it looked a snow cone with a lime on top of it!!! it didnt have salt around the rim and tasted like sour water. I ordered a bahama mama, it was the worse i have ever had. it looked like a egg poured in a glass with water. when our server came to take our food order we told him about our drinks and he replied she was in a bad mood and he did not want to tell her about our drinks were awful, he brung my sister a strawberry lemonade, but we still had to pay for the awful drinks that we did NOT drink. i called to ask to speak to the manager and never got one on the phone. this restaurant had really fallen off, i want eat here again. read more

Will not be returning....poor service from waitress. We never got her name so I can't say but she didn't provide refills, we had to wait for bread for about 30-40 minutes. We got our salads before the bread. We waited on food for over an hour; we ended telling them to box it to go. I only ordered an appetizer and it still had to be boxed. We asked for bread to go and we never got it. The restaurant was not too busy but everything was slow. Also no one else got their food, bread, or refills in a timely manner. We had an amazing lunch at Red Lobster at this location. Our waitress, Hannah was superb. We ordered the Sailor's Platter and the portion size was more than enough. The food was prepared to perfection; hot, great serving sizes, and delicious! Hats off to the house supervisors, who were very present. I would never come back to this place in my whole life . It was an table that someone had food on it, and the waitress wiped it off with her hand, which was unsanitary and disgusting. Alfredo was very disgusting. and it was short staff. And they burnt the pasta and it was stuck to their together and the tea was very unsweetened and disgusting and it was cleanliness and they need an new manager because the manager was back in the back the whole time and they had an 30 minute wait,when it was only 4 tables full but overall I give it an 0.1. The manager was awful, screaming at his employees when it was NOT their fault that the manager was incapable of serving his customers 4 hours after our arrival. I don't normally give 5 star ratings to a major chain restaurant, but this location was excellent. We are in Phenix, AL staying in a hotel for our son's graduation from the nearby military base. We ordered take out using their website, and within a few minutes they called to let me know some of the items we ordered they didn't have. They gave us substitution options and even gave us 2 free sides and a half dozen biscuits. Food was well prepared and delicious. I had the crab trio, lobster mash and corn. My wife had the New York strip medium rare, fries and asparagus. We have plenty of biscuits left to give our son after graduation in the morning. We don't really frequent this area, but I am highly impressed with this particular Red Lobster. read more

Red Lobster (13th St, Columbus, GA) I normally go here to this location. Almost always have good service. So when others recently complained, I brushed it off to the waiter/waitress having a bad day. My mom and I went Sunday for the All you can eat shrimp. Or rather I did. It was not even that crowded when we got there so I didn't see the problem. Let mere start of saying the food itself was delicious. First it took forever just to get the drink order. When we did order our food, my mom asked for extra peppers. They only bought out four biscuits, which was okay because we don't want them cold. Needless to say when my mom got got her food without the extra peppers, the waitress says that is extra. Boo, we know normal from extra. Five peppers on that order is below normal. Still we never got the peppers. The biscuits were gone. We asked for more, which i NEVER had to do. Her reply? "They're cooking." 30 minutes later still no biscuits. Oh they're still cooking. Now, this isn't my first time doing the All you can eat shrimp. So I know how this goes. Never have I had took WAIT to order my next one. As soon as the plate is bought out, the next one put in. She acted like that was such a problem. By then I was just ready to go. Was going to even order dessert, but didn't feel the urge to waste my time. My mom being the nice one still left her a tip. Me, my tip would be show better customer service. Dinner with friends - and no, not because of Beyonce's latest single ;) We went to this one twice before and we were never disappointed. We were promptly seated although it was Saturday evening. The wait was maybe 5min but it's a big restaurant with two different dining areas. I like the cleanliness, the dimmed lights and atmosphere. Definitely a spot where people always being their children and you can find couples dining in there as well as later groups. It's a mix of people, too which I think represents Columbus pretty good - and which is what I like about the city. Our waitress was fast with our water and getting the drinks and she brought us rolls really quick, too. She also brought a second basket of rolls during our meal without us asking for it. That's what I call service! We came right for the lobster fest and she wasn't pushy at all. Matter of fact, two of us ordered the lobster plate with Mac n cheese, grilled lobster and stuffed lobster tail with green beans and mashed potatoes. The other two ordered meals off their regular menu. Everything came out at the same time, it was really fresh, delicious and biiiiig portions, too. The waitress checked on us occasionally, asked if we wanted to have another beverage and also asked if we want to have to checks at the end. All in all, I can only recommend this location.
