I have come to this location a couple times and this time it has been a year since I have been here. The customer service was amazing. We were seated immediately and provided menus. It took our waiter no time to take our order. We received our food in less than 10 minutes and were provided with everything that we needed. We had to wait a long time to get a server. When she came, you tell she didn't want to wait on us. Took a long time to get our drinks. We can see our server hanging out on the other side of the restaurant. Half of our drinks didn't have ice. She didn't come back and check out n us. We had to wave her down several times. When she brought the food, we were missing half our order. We had to ask for a bib from a different employee. I asked for a manager. It took a while for her to come. She barely cared about my concerns. She went to the bar and talked to someone else. (When I looked around I can see that all the other tables were getting good service. )Then an actual manager came. Come to find out the lady they sent over was not even a manager. As I was telling the actual manager what happened, "our supposed server" was pleading her case and got rude. Food and drinks are 10! We will be going back when we visit again. The food was work the money. Too much breading on the fried calamari and too rubbery. The oysters were good but a little too much breading. The shrimp was fried just right. The staff is great with the exception of one employee coming out saying "I am Ret to go" which is Ghetto and rude considering we spent $250 and arrived at 9pm. We had to wait for a table and food so we had so little time to eat and enjoy all the food. There is a tactful way to say we closing etc. I won't say the employee name but it wasn't our server. The rating would be 5 because the food is delicious and I will be coming back. The guy who greeted us was so nice as well and great smile. Some need staff development. My daughter and I ordered the Catfish basket and went to pick it up. We got back to Fort Benning approx 20 minuets away. We sat down to eat and it was so salty, we couldn't even eat it. I called the resturant to let them know and I was told to bring the food back so they could taste it and see. I was a regular at this establishment so to be treated how I was treated is absurd ‼ first you put automatic gratuity on my check for a party that I was not a part of for a server that did not check on us not one time! This girl literally took our orders brought our food and we didn't see her again until she was bringing checks. We got up to get our OWN drinks. I had to get up to get anything I needed because the server was a ghost. I asked for the gratuity to be removed and the shortest manager refused to remove it. REFUSED TO LISTEN TO ME. REFUSED TO HAVE A PROFESSIONAL CONVERSATION so of course I'm heated at this point and don't care to return. The manager yells at me as im walking out "all of this for $9" like $9 is a problem for me to spend when i come there and spend HUNDREDS‼ its not about $9 it's the principal ! This seafood restaurant is great for this side of town, but I definitely did not enjoy the hour and a half wait. The staff is friendly and helpful for a first time visit. Mercedes was our very attentive server! I got the shrimp, crab and sausage boil. It was good...at first and then when I started eating the sausage, it was way too salty for my taste. If we come back l, I would try the boil without it. The crab was good but the corn was tasteless and the ONE potato in my bag was hard. What I can say is that I enjoyed the seafood portion of a dinner but will wait a long time before I come back so we wouldn't have such a long wait.
