Upon entry, you could see the cleanliness of the restaurant course we were there fairly early in the morning so it's hard to tell how clean it is throughout the day we were greeted and sat down politely and given menus. We ordered ice waters and breakfast items we ordered the spicy poblano omelette and the chicken and waffles. As well as a side of toast and pancakes. The omelette was all right however, it had hardly any filling in. It had a gazillion pounds of shredded cheese on top that was cold so it's very offputting compared to the warm omelette. The polar bottle sauce is so good I wish they added more to my omelette. The egg of the omelette was over cooked. It tasted a little rubbery, the pancakes were good as always highly recommend getting the butter pecan syrup. It's all star, the chicken and waffles was a real Downfall. The tenders were so generic. The breading fell off of them, and the texture of them was like chewing on the tire. There was no flavor tool, except for the flavor of all the grease. The waffle was extremely cold, so only ate what I could of it before I was just overly off, putting in flavor and taste and warmth that I didn't eat the rest of it. The toast was all right. It had no butter on it however and it was cold as well. The ice water was crisp and refreshing the real kicker to this, though was where we were seated, was towards the entrance to one of the kitchens, and we could overhear the waitresses talking, extremely loud about how she has sexual intercourse with her partner while her kid is in the bed, which is extremely offputting to hear, and the fact that there is other families in the establishment at the same time, I would hate for them to have to explain that kind of activity to their child as they were sitting there, listening to those waitresses having that conversation so very unprofessional staff. read more

Extremely disappointed. Went there with my two young sons this morning for breakfast. Waitress took our drink orders, came back with coffee for me and sprites for the kids and took our food order. An hour and a half later we still had no food and the waitress never came back to check on us. This is one of four IHOP in the Columbus/ Phoenix city area. It is the newest restaurant in a shopping plaza containing a walmart with a gas station. There are other restaurants across the street up the block. We have eaten and done pick up orders at each one and by far this location has the freshest food and the friendliest services. The restrooms are clean and kept maintained and they do well with large parties over 6. As a rarity in the service industry they do not have a high turn over so if you get great service, then that server will most likely be there if you return again. It would receive that fifth star however sometimes we do have to remind the small thing like bringing the hot syrup with pancakes. Great on off freeway! Waited for over 10 minutes to have our order taken when the place was empty, only one other customer. When the food came out, it was cold! I ordered double blueberry pancakes- yet there was only three blueberries in one pancake and two in the other, which is ridiculous! My son ordered the New York cheesecake pancakes but again where is the cheesecake? The server didn't even ask what was wrong with our food. When I reviewed the receipt, I noticed she charged me for beverages that we did not have. No apologies or concern given. When I checked out, I spoke to the manager and she was even more rude. She told me that there was no way our food was cold b/c she brought it out herself. I explained she is confusing us with the couple beside us that came in after us- yet got their food first. However, if you are a large party, it seems it can only handle one large party at a time unless you break up into small groups. The food was good and tasted like every other IHOP. We come here after work quite a bit and have yet to be disappointed. The waitresses are friendly and service is always fast. Good sized portions and I always leave full. We all got different omelets and everyone was happy with their meal. I like the new red potatoes they added to the menu. Overall, one of the better places to get breakfast in Columbus. read more

We they showed up they were polite and seated us quickly...and then the wait began...after 7 min no one had come by to take so much as a drink order! Great first time experience. We came on a Saturday morning at around 0900, we were sat immediately after coming in. The table was clean and not wet, our server was at our table within five minutes of us seating. Despite being very busy, our server was very nice and polite. Our drinks were brought soon after we ordered and so was our food. Everything smelled, looked and tasted very good. I had their upside down pineapple pancakes...they were good but too sweet for my taste. My hubby's breakfast was great, the sausages were awesome. The pancake texture was great and I will definitely be trying more of their pancakes, it was completely my fault thinking that a pineapple pancake wasn't going to be too sweet. Other than that, everything was great. The coffee tasted fresh and it was hot, the tea I order was very good too. We visited this iHop on 1st Jan 2019. The staff was really nice. When we were seated within a few mins of waiting to take our order we saw some small roaches coming our from behind the booth cushions. We brought it to the waitress' attention. She moved us to an adjunct table. She said that she would bring it to the manager's attention. While we were waiting for the order. I noticed the roaches again on the table we had just moved from. I got up and caught one of the roaches in a napkin and when the waitress came by I handed her the napkin and indicated that one of the roaches was in the napkin. We never saw the manager, not did anyone come by our table to apologize etc. As for the food it wasn't even that good. The scrambled eggs tasted like powered eggs, and the avocados we had on the sandwiches extremely green and not rip (ready). This would be the last time we will be visiting this establishment. If roaches are coming out during the day, then you know there are tons more that come out at night when the restaurant is closed. The place needs to be fumigated. read more

Went for lunch and ordered a simple meat, bread and cheese burger. The server repeated back to me. Received burger and it tasted odd...took a few more bites and I just could not eat it. Server came by to check on me and I told her that it had to have something on it. Then she explained that they put on their special sauce. I told her it was gross and it was not as I ordered. She said sorry and that she would tell the kitchen. So ...I got the check and decided to leave. At the register the person asked how it was. I told her it was gross and she said sorry and rang me up. I was shocked that I told two people that the food was gross and both did nothing. I was shocked and paid the $10 (and did not leave a tip) and left. Thinking back I should have said I do not want to pay for food that I did not eat and was not prepared as requested. It was only $10 but am still amazed what poor customer service I received.
