I had the Lemon Basil Mahi (Highly recommend the rice as a side with this as the sauce complements it very well) It's good but I still like that New Orleans Salmon better! Quite a few things to try on here now that I am curious about. The Lobster Pasta Pappardelle and Parmesan-crusted Chicken were enjoyed by those that had them. All portions were pretty generous, I could not finish the meal as it is, thus do regret not being able to try the lobster bisque, as I specifically remember it being quite good when they had that. (I really do like the chowder here) Need to try the 10 dollar (lunch only) endless soup and salad and biscuit special. I love that at olive garden and usually get that for dinner, I bet I'll love it here as well. Perhaps someday they will bring back complementary salads. All I can say is check your bill before you leave. This place charged us for 2 additional dinners. I noticed later at home, called the restaurant the following day and the manager had the nerve to call me a liar stating she was on staff and knows we ordered 2 meals to go. She refused to reason with me as she insists she is correct. There is no way we took 2 meals to go. The atmosphere of this Red Lobster is so relaxing. The food is so amazingly delicious. The woman who greeted us was Alma and she was so pleasant as she found us the perfect place to eat our meal. Our wait staff, Trevor, was extremely professional and personable, checking on us often to ask if everything was okay and if he could bring us more of the delicious biscuits or refill our drinks. Haven't been to Red Lobster for years. We are visiting my daughter, and we all decided to go here for dinner tonight. We walked in and there was no one at the hostess stand. We waited... We waited... We waited... I peaked my head around the corner and the hostess was coming out. She took us to our table in a dining area with no air conditioning. We sat down and after sitting for a few minutes decided there was no way we could eat in there if the air conditioning was broken. There was another dining room area where the air-conditioning was working. We got up to leave and then we asked why would they not seat people on the side of the building where the air-conditioning was working? And she responded and said, "I'm not the manager." Ok, see ya!! My mom and I came in for happy hour (first time in years), and we seriously had the best Monday ever. Our server, Casey, was absolutely incredible--so warm, attentive, and genuinely made the whole experience feel special. The food came out hot, fresh, and honestly way better than we even remembered. We haven't been to Red lobster in a long time. So we decided to give it a try. We were seated very quickly and got our drinks ordered. She asked what I would like and I said I wanted to pick out my lobster which I did. It was cooked perfectly and what a great fresh bite I had with every bite. Honestly, I hadn't been to a Red Lobster in years and they've upped their game. I'm not saying they are find dining, but for a chain restaurant they're working hard at staying relevant and providing healthy choices. They still have their amazing cheese bread. We got the salmon bowl and it was a lot of food. It was really good. It wasn't fine dining, but it's a safe bet especially if you're traveling or in a small town. This place needs a decor update BADLY!!! We were seated promptly. Our server Rebecca (I'm pretty sure that's her name but she's a tall nice looking redhead.) It's Red Lobster... the food is about the same as it has been for years. The lobster tail I got was over cooked. The shrimp scampi is my favorite and it was tasty. Of course their biscuits are hard to beat and ours came out hot and fresh and our server kept them coming. My non-seafood eating grandson loved their burger. We got good service. My first time at this Red Lobster in Fayetteville, though my wife has been here before. I had the Seafarers Feast and my wife had Grilled scallops and tilapia. I had the Lobster lovers dream. The lobster tail was mushy like a warm water lobster tail can get. In fact it looks like it fell apart when the cook tried to take it out of the shell. It was reassembled on the shell and was mushy lobster bits. (See photo) The split tail lobster was really good. The lobster and shrimp linguini Alfredo was okay mostly shrimp. The food was very good. Started off with the white wine mussels appetizer, it was my fiancé's first time having them and he really liked it. Our server was very kind and not over baring while also attentive. My dish was the dragon shrimp. It was so delicious, I'm really excited to go back and get the same thing. My fiancé ordered a fun all fried dish, with shrimp, scallops, clam, and flounder. The flounder was his favorite. Both dishes came with broccoli which was not seasoned or anything which we both personally really liked (broccoli is great just steamed the way it is) I ordered the side of asparagus to go with my meal and I don't regret it at all. Red Lobster has always been one of those places you just love going to, and many people I have spoken to tend to think they are a franchise restaurant chain. Which could lead people to think that Red Lobster might get in a "rut" of "standardization" in regards to their food preparation. So first and foremost for education purposes, Red Lobster is NOT a franchise chain. Each location is company owned and operated. And secondly, each location has certain food quality standards that they must uphold. When you walk in you are immediately greeted by their staff, and I have never had to wait long for seating. Each section of seating has booths as well as tables. And in addition, there are usually bar areas where you can go sit down and have a quick drink as well as something light to eat if you so choose. The overall feel of the interior lends itself towards a very nice family meal, as well as the occassional romantic dinner for two. The staff are constantly cleaning and keeping all of the public areas neat and tidy. And those of you who follow my reviews know I am a stickler on cleanliness of areas such as bathrooms, and their bathrooms were spotless. We started off with just a simple salad, with a red wine vinaigrette dressing. Lettuce and veg was fresh, no complaints. Very straight forward. Sometimes simple can be good! And who can say no to those wonderful little cheesy gems known as cheddar biscuits? The answer is simple, no one! I love these little guys, and could sit down and eat them by the ton. Who knows, one of these days Red Lobster might share their recipe. Most likely not, but one can wish! Their 14oz New York Strip comes smothered in a white sauce that has bits of lobster and shrimp, along with asparagus. The steak was cooked to perfection! We asked for it to be medium, and it was medium. When we got this dish though, all it had was asparagus stems, there were no spears. I informed our server Ashley and she let the chef know we were not pleased. And without asking, within about 4 minutes she brought out some additional asparagus for us. Great marks for service! We also ordered the stuffed flounder, and I have to tell you it was spot on. Cooked well, and seasoned perfectly. It also came with bay scallops, which are nice little sweet scallops. Also a classic shrimp scampi, which was also cooked and seasoned well. And I opted for the langostino mashed potatoes which were great. Overall a very good dish, that I would order again! During our visit there our waitress Ashley stayed on top of our table, clearing away the items that needed to be cleared away and keeping our drinks filled. There was only one time I had to wait a bit longer than normal for my drink to be refilled, but that was when she was taking care of the asparagus issue for us. So I can not ding her for that at all. What impressed me the most was that I intentionally made mention of the issue with the asparagus in a very light hearted fashion, just to see how they would handle the issue. One of the hallmarks of a truly above average restaurant is in how they handle customer complaints, especially valid complaints. And I purposely did not ask for any additional asparagus, all I did was ask her to make sure to mention it to the chef. So when she brought out the dish of asparagus, I was very impressed. What this showed me is that the wait staff listen to their customers, and more importantly they are willing to communicate to the kitchen staff any issues that come up. And in addition, the kitchen staff not only listen but act upon that information. When a restaurants front of house does not communicate with the back of house, the customers are the ones that suffer. And that is not the case here. They work as a well oiled machine that puts their customers first. And it is that determination and desire to set the standards high that separates this Red Lobster staff from all of those other mediocre dining establishments. In summary I would have to simply say that this is a restaurant that I would highly recommend to any of my viewers. You will get great service, and very good food, all for the right price! My husband and I went here on Saturday night. I was happy to see that the wait was not very long to get a table, which was nice. It should have clued me in that I was in for a not so great experience, since it is one of the "nicer" restaurants on that side of town. We were greeted by two really friendly greeters and sat in the back corner of the place. It was a little crowded, not with people, but with tables, there was more tables back there than there should have been in my opinion. Either way, we were sat and told out server would be right with us. The server was an older guy, and honestly, this is what made the experience a 1 star experience. He absolutely sucked! He took our drink orders and then it took forever to get them! When my drink arrived, it was just seltzer water, no dr pepper syrup. You could see that the glass was very light in color, not at all like a soda should look. I told him and he said that he would try to get me one from another station, but if not he would have to change the syrup. Either way, it should have been changed, just saying. He takes our order and goes away. We get our soups and salads and cheddar biscuits, which are always amazing, and then another guy brings our appetizer. By this time, I am thirsty and still have not seen my waiter to get me another drink. I ask the guy that brought the appetizer and he says that he will be right back. Not even 2 minutes later, there I have a new drink! The old guy had forgotten about it and when he saw my cup full, didn't think about refilling or anything. It was so frustrating. Our meals arrive, we ask for more biscuits, the waiter takes the basket they were in, but not the soup, salad, or appetizer dishes that are now crowing the table. A manager actually comes over and says that she will get them out of the way. My husband couldn't finish his food, so we ask for a container and ask that he put his dessert in a to go container, the waiter asks him 3 times if he wants the ice cream in the same box as his brownie, no, of course not! But finally he brings it all out, ice cream in a dish on the side, brownie in a to go container. The to go box for his dinner wont close, and instead of getting us a new one, he says "We will just put it in the bottom of the bag and put the other stuff on top of it, it will be alright" and goes on to say that it happens all the time! Why not just bring a new one? Does he have to pay for them himself? I doubt it! The food was great, but the service was horrid, and it is just way over priced. I was visiting my daughter and grandson, we were tired so ordered dinner over the phone. That was not a great experience to start with so I should have realized we were in for mess. We ordered two Wood Grilled Flounder dinners and an unlimited shrimp dinner. The Shrimp dinner was passable but our Flounder dinners were NOT flounder they were thin pieces of poached or soaked in nasty liquid Tilapia which in turn soaked our baked potatoes. We were not given tartar sauce as we requested and the entire mess had to be thrown in the trash. I live in Florida I know fish AND we were too tired to return to restaurant. I WAS VERY UPSET MY DAUGHTER WAS VERY UPSET and my grandson had to share his one dinner. The combination I wanted wasn't on the menu anymore but they let me have it anyway, so 4 stars for my server Mackenzie and the wonderful job he did. My crab legs were cold and full of water (strangely), my wood-grill shrimp was slightly undercooked, and my spicy Cajun chicken linguini was missing any trace of "spicy," nothing like the kick it should have. The restaurant was clean but booth chairs are only about 18" from back of chair to table (tight fit) if you sit in the room on the southeast side. And the price was a bit higher than advertised, but since they accommodated my request, I wasn't too upset. I may or may not visit again for awhile. Such a great location! I love the staff here, they are so nice and accommodating. My mother and I were grabbing a quick bite. My daughter is in the NICU at Washington Regional and I told the hostess we only had a little window to eat. The hostess told us that the fastest service was at the bar. We sat down at the bar and this nice gentleman sat us down at a booth as soon as it opened. We order and everything was cooked to perfection. Amazing service. When we went to pay, our check had already been taken care of. The hostess Amanda had told the manager Shannon about our situation and took care of it all. What a team of amazing people.
