I'm not usually big on chain restaurants. And this was my first time at a Red Lobster due to negative reviews from others. But after this experience, I may have changed my mind. This location in particular has some of the best wait staff. Seriously, management needs a thumbs up. Our waitress was so accommodating with the sweetest personality. We got the two combo dinners with a choice of side. So, I can say that the Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp and Peppercorn-Grilled Sirloin are wonderful! Garlic Shrimp Scampi was a little dry. And I expected a larger portion of Steamed Snow Crab Legs. Otherwise, I got the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Nothing off the walls. Sort of think they should spruce up the dessert menu. But tasty nonetheless. Oh and love the free dinner biscuits! read more

When eating with family at our local Red Lobster in Lancaster we experienced horrible customer service. Our waitress "Felicia" was terribly rude and argumentative. I had ordered an item off the menu and tried to order the half-size of that particular food item. When I asked for the half-size she then argued with me that there was no half-size when I could clearly see on the menu that there was in fact a half size. Once my meal arrived a completely different meal came out then what I had ordered. When I brought this to her attention she then argued with me again and told me I was wrong and had ordered the wrong meal. The meal I ordered was 20$ and the one she served me was 35$!!! This is extremely outraging since I work hard for my money and I bet she was just trying to rack up the price and make a higher tip! I do NOT recommend Felicia as a server!! read more

This Red Lobster was a great experience for me and my family. The food was great, and the customer service was the best. The waitresses were nice, and made sure that my glass never went empty! I ordered shrimp scampi, and clams and stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, and the food is the best that you can have. I also received calamari, which met (and exceeded!) expectations. I went in with tough standards, and a heightened awareness - but I left with a full stomach, and a smile on my face! Everyone enjoyed it, and I would definitely go back there again. read more

I go here almost every Sunday and this place never fails to disappoint me. Good food and great service. I would def recommend this place!

Took my wife here for birthday. Service was slow, and clumsy. Shrimp was overcooked, and portions very tiny.

I haven't been to Red Lobster in almost 30 years so we'll just say this was my first time. First off our server was absolutely fantastic. She was very attentive friendly and knew her craft. She suggested menu options drink suggestions and dessert offerings. It was the last day of the all you can eat shrimp (news to me) so I opted for that and my dining companion had the lobster bake. Both great choices. We had the seafood dip as appetizer along with the legendary cheddar bay biscuits. We had a very pleasant dining experience and left well over stuffed. Sadly no room for dessert on this visit. Now I will say that it is a little on the pricey side for dinner but the food was delicious. read more

We've been eating at Red Lobster for over 30 yrs. On average the food and presentation have been consistent. Earlier this month we visited the location in Lancaster Ohio. Lobster is the featured menu item currently. My wife had the lobster roll special, and I went for the stuffed flounder. My order was pretty standard, my wife's lobster roll was a disaster. Just went there for my fathers bday and had a table of 7 plus a toddler. The wait for the food was a bit long but our server did a tremendous job at overcoming the kitchens downfalls and let us have a wonderful dinner despite the wait on the kitchen. Dan you are the best! read more

Red Lobster in Lancaster Ohio is a fantastic place to eat and our bartender Travis always makes our dinner a pleasant experience. When my boyfriend and I arrived around 8 pm on a rainy Tuesday night, half of the restaurant was very visibly vacant, yet we were told we could only sit at the bar unless we wanted to wait 45 minutes. The service provided at the bar wasn't bad, and our food came fairly quickly. I ordered the jumbo coconut shrimp, but it was terribly breaded and had way too much coconut under the panko. My boyfriend order the admirals feast and his shrimp was dripping with grease. All and all the food was highly disappointing and I'm not sure why this location fails with the food because any other red lobster I have gone to has always been excellent in service and food. read more

I saw a red lobster when driving and instantly started having a craving for biscuits. This resulted in me calling red lobster and asked about the price for biscuits. In a short two minute phone call the guy at the bar told the amazing price; half a dozen biscuits for $1.99. We went to red lobster and talked to a wonderful hostess to get some delicious tangy biscuits. When we started snacking on them we each ate three. But the most unexpected this happened... Stopped in for Sunday lunch. No wait even though it was noon, we kind of beat the lunch rush. We both ordered the sockeye salmon off the fresh fish menu. Sockeye costs a little more but we like it because you know it is wild caught and it looks and tastes a little better than Atlantic/farm raised. What we were served did not look or taste like sockeye. Sure enough the receipt said coho. I personally can't tell the difference between coho and farm raised so couldn't say for sure what it was. Wife's broccoli was a little over ripe. Other than that our meal was fine, typical of Red Lobster and Sherry took good care of us. Mentioned to the hostess that they should update the menu when we left but I had the impression she wasn't going to do anything about it. read more

If you pay $27 for a single dish (Bar Harbor Bake), you expect to be able to consume of contents of the dish set in front of you!! BEWARE - If the mussels are not open, "do not eat them, they are not good" (to quote our waitress - after questioning her as to why three of the six in the dish were not open - and after I had opened one myself and eaten it). I didn't think much of it until 12:30 a.m. when I woke up violently ill, and missed two days work - unable to even hold water down. When I contacted Red Lobster corp. to question serving "not good" food to customers, NO acknowledgment to any of the three attempts. The dish ended up costing me approx. $600 (missed work/cost of bad food/tip/doctor). No more RL - haven't been/won't be back - shame too, it used to be my favorite. read more
