This place sucks sat there for an hour and didnt get our food the table across from us ordered after us got there food before us

Food was ok but waited about 90 mins between salad and entree. Kitchen was short staffed. Server was kind and kept us informed. Manager did not come to our table to explain the situation. Not going back. read more

Red lobster is a tough review. Everyone knows the red lobsters food isn't very good so am I comparing it to my expectations or to a real restaurant. The flavor of all of our food was OK but as always the seafood is grossly overcooked and there was maybe 1 clam in the clam chowder. So the food was as good as it gets at a Red Lobster. I haven't been here for ages, but I remember their giant margaritas so I called a friend and are here! Enjoying the seafood stuffed mushrooms and mozzarella cheese sticks, fell off my diet, oops. Mojitos are good too. I also recommend the shrimp trio. read more

It has taken me a bit to find the time to write this review. However, considering that we are five months on and I still remember this experience like it was yesterday says something. Anyway, on to the review... My wife and I went on Valentine's Day. Got there, was told it was a 2 hour wait, and got on the list about 5:55p. Since there was virtually no room in the foyer to stand and wait, we decided to wander the mall for a while to kill some time. By the time we got back from the mall, we still had about 75 minutes left to wait according to the original estimate. There was still no room in the foyer to wait and so we ended up having to stand in between the two sets of doors. By this time, management had posted an employee by the name of Chris between the doors and tasked him with keeping the doors shut because people had previously been keeping both sets of doors open, causing a chill wind to blow into the dining room. Since Chris was there and we were there and none of the three of us had much to do other than mind the doors, we and he got to talking and we decided to help him mind the doors on our side of the entry. This helped pass the time quite well, which we really appreciated since it worked out we still had about 2 hours to wait even once we got back from the mall. My wife and I both ordered a steak and lobster meal, as well as the crab-stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. The food arrived quickly, which was amazing considering the dining room and bar were both still packed and the foyer was still standing-room-only. All the food was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. As a thank-you for helping him mind the doors, Chris had actually comped us a dessert, as well. We appreciated that and his affability and company so much during the wait that my wife insisted I leave him a tip (not that this took much convincing since I was already seriously considering it) in addition to the tip we left for the server. The only thing I could think that Red Lobster could have done better would be to set a time limit for people who called ahead (or got on the list and then left) to remain on seating list and, if they haven't arrived by that time, remove those people from the list. For some reason, the manager who had decided to take charge of this decided to never remove anyone who failed to show up from the list. The primary problem caused here is that managing the list and finding people who are actually present in the restaurant and ready to be seated becomes very difficult. She ended up having more than one hundred parties at the top of the list who either never arrived (if they'd called ahead) or had already left without having themselves removed from the list. This seriously slowed getting seated because she had to check if those parties were present every time a table came open. Still, this was one of the best Valentine's Day dining experiences we have had in some time and we will be going back again. read more

I know I'm nuts to be out in this north pole weather but I got invited to a little pre - Xmas get together and this place was chosen. I had the four course feast for $15 and it was very good, jumbo coconut shrimp with triple chocolate brownie a la mode. Our waitress was friendly with a good sense of humor especially since we pretty much trashed the table after a drink spill. Parking is easy at the mall even with all the holiday shoppers. read more

Great service at this location. I had the large Alaskan crab, and actually couldn't finish it! Don't bother ordering corn. Dry and over seasoned. Asparagus side was good. Lobster bisque had some dry lumps of lobster and too much salt. All in all, though, we enjoyed our meal. read more

Went for endless shrimp a while back. That is the only time I go here but they must truck in a bunch of really small low end shrimp. The shrimp was so bad there is no way they sell that regularly. I wont be going back again. Oh the biscuits are great but you can buy the box mix of that stuff and it tastes the same. read more

Overall I have, for the most part, had pleasant experiences at this Red Lobster location. However, our visit on 8-11-17 was not so great. We wanted to use up a couple gift cards to Red Lobster that we've been holding onto. We arrived fairly early that Friday, around 5:00pm. They weren't overly busy so we were seated quickly. Our waitress was friendly enough, but seemed rushed and rarely visited our table. However, she was very good about refilling our waters. Our starters, lobster bisque and cole slaw were sub par and we didn't even finish them. I got the garlic grilled shrimp with rice, which was okay. My significant other got wood grilled lobster, shrimp, and salmon and a side of their crab hollandaise topping. He said there was an odd flavor to some of his food, but didn't seem overly concerned (we're not ones to typically complain). My significant other woke up around 11pm that same evening and began vomiting. He threw up multiple times through out the night and into the morning. It was clear that it was food poisoning and we had eaten all of the same things up until dinner that day. It's a shame that we probably won't be back here any time soon =(. We'll go back to Pescara. Although the menu is on the more expensive side, you get what you pay for. read more

On 1/7/18 We took my mother in law to this location for her birthday on Sunday afternoon. For starters we ordered seafood smothered fries as an appetizer and literally had 7 fries on the plate with some white sauce, no joke, seriousy 7 french fries. We politely asked the waitress to take them back. Our son got the fish and chips and only had a few (probably less than 20) fries and the fish on a huge plate. I can't comprehend why a restaurant would feel the need to ration fries for an $11 fish and fries meal when fries are probably the most inexpensive item for them to purchase and cook. Why not fill a normal sized plate with fries instead of putting 18 fries on an oversized plate? At least make it APPEAR like you are getting your money's worth!! The stuffed mushroom appetizer came with only 5 small mushrooms, so for the price, it was not worth it either. We asked if my mother in law could possibly get a dessert for her birthday. The dessert we got was a scoop of half melted vanilla ice cream with a little bit of chocolate sauce in a margarita glass. ZERO effort put into this dessert. I understand its a free birthday dessert but at a time when they were not busy at all i feel like a little more effort could be put into making our visit more enjoyable considering we spent over $70. We will NEVER ever go back to this location again. We will also be telling everybody we know about our experience at this location as a fair warning. Very disappointed in the meal I had.Main meal came,no sides.Got my sides,but had to pay 2.79 extra for double asparagus,because I didn't want salad. Asked for my condiments a second time,got two of the three I asked for. Seafood was overcooked,rubbery.My meal was 28.99,plus 5.58 for those sides,then the drink. I will not be eating here again,if you pay this much,shouldn't you get everything you ask for,and why should you have to ask twice or three times. Went there today and it was terrible. Out of caesar dressing so ask if we could have a cup of soup instead and was told great but it would be $3.99 to change. We tried to go to the side dishes and get asparagus and that would be another extra charge. The waiter brought our water and stood over us like he was in a hurry to get the order. Finally had to tell him to give us some time to make a decision before he moved. When we were to that we would be charged extra for everything we left. When I complained they just said sorry you feel that way. Never been disappointed with them but the Red Lobster in Rochester, MN has gone way down hill. read more

We celebrated a birthday and it was glitch free. No wait for our party of 12. We were seated promptly and had a glass of water in front of us. A team of two catered to us all night like we were their only customer. The cheese bread baskets were always full and warm. 6 couples 6 checks. They kept our bills and orders straight. The endless shrimp was great. We brought our own desert which was a birthday cake. We gave our waitresses a piece and a big tip! Looking forward to coming back soon. Keep up the good work! read more

Clean. Clean. Clean. I wanted to give it a 5 star and would have, but last time we were there, the server had a bad cold. Pretty disgusting. If you work in a service industry and are sick, even if you need the money, please, please, STAY HOME!! We asked for another server, but it was pretty gross, to have the person taking your order hoarse, coughing, etc. Also, she had tatoos that were quite visible. Disgusting. Another thing that is a BIG turn off, especially in a service industry. The food is always good. Bathrooms clean. read more
