Still sitting here at Dallas Airport because apparently American Airline sucks @$$ and been waiting 5 hours for extra flight attendant. Some flights they don't even know where the crews are. For real.. . So why not spend more money here. Decided something sweet so went to Red Mango. Ordered SPK Smoothie (spinach, pineapple, kale, banana, and pineapple juice) and tropical acacia bowl. Smoothie.. I don't even know why they call it smoothie, it was like water down juice with small chunk of ice. Flavor.. Hmm taste some greens and pine apple juice. Definitely don't taste the flavors listed. Acacia bowl, it wasn't too bad. I stopped into this Red Mango in DFW airport while wanting something quick. It's located near B-9, it had no line and a green smoothie sounded pretty good. The server was helpful and I quickly ordered my green smoothie without any additions. It took about 3-4 minutes and I was on my way. The smoothie itself was meh. I got an odd waxy coating feeling on my tongue after most sips. Not sure what food additive is responsible for that but not great. However the flavors themselves were ok. The storefront is small, but it was pretty clean. Not a terrible choice in the DFW airport for something healthy ish. read more

As I was walking toward my terminal, I ran into Red Mango so I peeked at the menu boards. The options are Acai Bowls, Smoothies, Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits, and a few other frozen treats. I ordered the PB Power Acai Bowl which came standard with granola, bananas, blueberries, and peanut butter. Of course, you can add extra toppings for an extra charge. I am so glad I did! The mixed berry parfait is layers of nonfat frozen yogurt, granola, blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. After hiking through DFW to attempt to catch an earlier flight, I was burning up and wanted something to cool me down. We were in concourse A and I spotted Red Mango and thought it would be perfect. They had four flavors to chose from and I opted to have a sample of the pomegranate. It was delicious! Not too tart and not too sweet! I decided to top my small pomegranate yogurt with chocolate chunks (more like chips) and blackberries. It was a great combination. The fruit was very fresh. The only thing that would make this even better is if they gave you more fruit. I am a fan for sure! read more

I was in the DFW airport yesterday and saw this Red Mango stand and have always wanted to try it since I've heard good things about it. This is the stand in the C concourse RM is one of those tangy more fruit and natural flavors types of yogurt places. I didn't really care for this one, I just got a small vanilla. I don't care for the texture - too much like ice milk but the flavor was good. It probably would have been better with some fruit or granola. For this type of yogurt I prefer Pink Berry or Orange Cup. There is another yogurt place by C7 gate that i will try next time but I don't have high hopes. read more

Since I've moved to Maryland from California, I've been craving tangy frozen yogurt, so I was very excited to find red mango in the airport. After I tasted the yogurt and fruit though, I was disappointed. There is a wierd, almost dirty and old aftertaste on the fruit and yogurt. If you're at Houston airport near gate C20 then you can get healthy and tasty. This place is a minimalist with the fro-yo! They have limited flavors. But the better part about the place is that they have the special froyo which isn't SWEET. so you can have a TANGY taste to the fruits and the toppings. The toppings are limited and won't compare to your regular yoghurt land variety. However, they are just fine. (I like them!!) They are about 5$ for a good meal. The toppings are about .50$ to 1$ each topping. So by the time you're building a good froyo for yourself you would be spending the money worth a burger.l!! So it's not cheap. But healthy. Pretty good yogurt with fresh fruit toppings. There are limited flavors available at this airport location but it does really hit the spot while waiting for your flight. The free sample that they give before you choose your main item is helpful. This was my first experience with Red Mango and I am now a fan. Not sure if I had the choice if I would pick this over PInk Berry, guess it all depends on which flavors and toppings they have out as the yogurt is fairly standard. read more
