I usually go to the Gilbert location but they had no availability. I've received emails of the $200 off a 3 mo supply promo. When I get there, they tell me that because of something with the supplier, if after April a patient doesn't meet certain requirements, they have to buy the brand name GLP1 version instead of the one they currently have. This is how they persuade you to buy $1300 worth for a 3 month supply... however, they don't mention it'll take up to 3 weeks to get it due to being out of stock. It usually only takes 3-4 days to get it delivered, so when I called to see why I hadn't received it, she told me it would be up to 3 weeks. Then I've sent 2 emails but no one responds. I will say, I've been successful in losing weight being on GLP1 injections, fat burners & appetite suppressants, but I don't appreciate not being told of this delay up front and then being ignored when I contact them. read more

Red Mountain weight loss provides a variety of services but I mostly use them for the fat burner plus shots. The mix of B12 and fat burner gives me a much needed boost during my week. The staff is really friendly and I enjoy my visits. I have not tried any other service so I am unable to speak to any other program. read more

So, I finished my 4 weeks on their HCG program. I went back today to get a body composition analysis at my own expense to see how the results compared with the promises made. I expected to lose at least 10 pounds but was hoping for 15. I expected nearly all my weight loss to be fat loss as that is what this program states it does......the HCG is supposed to "tell your body to burn fat instead of muscle". At 500 cal a day one should expect at the very least a 1000 cal deficit each day. Each pound of weight is 3500 calories. So, after 28 days, 28 x 1000 = 28000 calories divided by 3500 calories is 8 pounds. So here are my results: I lost 11.4 pounds. However I only lost 5.6 pounds of fat. The rest was 4.5 pounds of water and 1.3 pounds of dry lean mass or 5.8 pounds of non-fat. That is better than a sock in the eye, but not the predominant fat loss that I was told to expect. Two years ago I lost 15 pounds using the exact same meal plan without the medication. I did not do a body composition analysis before and after that diet but got the same results. The HCG produced about a 50:50 loss between fat and non-fat. Before I started the diet their analysis said I should lose 23.6 pounds of fat and gain 4.9 lb of muscle. My ending analysis says I should lose 17.9 more pounds of fat and gain 10.6 pounds of muscle. My body fat percentage went from 35.7 to 34.5. Big whoop. I expected better for $599.00. read more

WAY OVERPRICED. My wife and I wanted to bounce back into shape after the holidays and slacking for a few months. We heard all the hype about RMWL. We are coming up on the end of our 4 weeks of HCG...My weight loss is good so far, but I had better results doing HCG on my own previously. My wife has had mediocre results so far. She too, had better results doing this on our own previously. We came here because we thought they had some exclusive method/combination...it turns out, I believe, that the RM3 is just two over the counter meds that you can combine on your own. HCG and Resveratol. The follow up appointments/ medical coaching...was only available right before the end of our pills because they were to booked up to get an appointment sooner. To sum it up, we spent almost $1200 for the two of us, when last time, we had better results, and spent a grand total of $160, and getting the diet plan off the internet for free. Makes me nauseous to think about spending that money. So yes, I had good results, I just spent 7 times what I did last time. Wish I had a do-over... UPDATE: The manager called me and spoke to me. After expressing my frustrations, they offered to give me some money back. I do appreciate them calling me and letting me vent, then helping me to feel better about the situation. read more

This review is for RMWL in general, not about this specific location. All of my experiences are with the video appointments. I had high hopes for this program. From the very beginning I felt like all they wanted was to take my money. I didn't really care that much because I just wanted it to work. The first month I lost 15 pounds. The second month I lost zero weight. In fact I fluctuated between going down a pound or so and gaining a few pounds the entire month. I called and told them I think something is wrong with the medication. There's no way I could be losing nothing, and the changes happened exactly when I went from one prescription to the next. They were completely dismissive and said there is no way there could be an issue with the medication, and to eat less. I didn't change a thing from one month to the next, only the prescription refill. The first consultation appointment was exciting because I was hopeful. The second appointment was good because I saw great results. The third appointment didn't even happen because the provider didn't even show up. I was on the fence about continuing anyway, but their complete lack of interest in me is very telling. All they want is your money, they really don't care about you or your progress. You're better off just living a healthy lifestyle eating low carbs and low sugar, and exercising. Save your $500 every month and be good to yourself. read more

I really like the program Red Mountain does for weight loss. They don't just give you prescriptions and send you out the door but provide an eating program and tools for success. The eating program doesn't require you to buy any of their products and it's really easy to do. It doesn't require any special foods out of the ordinary. Just health eating plus make sure you eat the right amounts of fat, protein and carbs. They also talk about recommended physical activity and discussed how you really shouldn't eat many additional calories after exercising unless it's a substantial workout. This was an "ah ha" moment for me. There is no pressure to go into a particular program or buy anything from them, which I liked. The office itself is really beautiful and comfortable. Pills! Pills! Pills! What a disaster! I was placed on Human Growth Hormones, various supplements, injections, and shakes, as well as a restrictive diet. The weight came off because I was starving. When the prescription medication stopped, all of the weight piled on again. Total rip-off! I reported that I was unable to participate at a work blood drive to the woman giving me the weekly injection, and she shrugged it off. "Must have been nervous" was what she said. Another employee could not answer my questions about what various inhouse supplements contained and no one called me back with information. I spoke with one physician's assistant the day I signed up and never heard from her again. (I did receive many offers for beauty consultations for injections, facials, etc. The rest of the time, there were CMAs. I was told that they didn't need to weigh me, only there to give injection... Universal procedures are not followed her either. Ladies, please glove up / wash your hands before giving an injection! Did I mention this is a training facility?!!! When I declined having students or new practitioners in my only consultation, I could hear the staff complaining about me outside the door. Yes! If I wasn't feeling uncomfortable before, I sure went home feeling even worse. A month and a half later, I was five pounds heavier than when I started. A gym membership and six months of Weight Watchers got me where I need to be. Save your money, guard your health, and leave this place alone!!! read more

I have had great success loosing 40lbs by following the strict program for 3 months. I definitely experienced a few plateaus throughout the 2nd & 3rd months, but stuck to it & saw results again in 3-4 days. It's a drawback that you can't get in touch with your location directly if you have any questions. You have to wait until your monthly appointment or call a centralized number. Twice, I walked out without my booster shots because they expect you to know what you need to ask for. When I called to ask them to ship the boosters that they failed to give me I received a lengthy lecture both times. Beyond frustrating. Honestly, I was irate after both experiences. There is no source to provide feedback on their website either. If you decide to use this program, know that you are on your own most of the time. If you want to learn about their food supplement products, read up on your own as no one will introduce them to you. Because of that, I haven't bought any extra products out of defiance. This program is indeed pricey, so the sketchy customer service is intolerable. I would rate lower if I didn't look so much better ;) read more

WOW I am very surprised I am the first person to review Red Mountain. I have to start that there are 3 locations and I did have extreme success with HCG. This place is horrible. I made an appointment for my and my boyfriend ( being foodies it came time to need to loose weight) I explained we were doing together and provided some insight. We arrived on time - and proceeded to sit in a waiting room for about 20 minutes. We were greeted by what I assume is a nurse. Not sure with the sparkle shirt, but since she is giving shots, I really hope she is something. They took us back to a room. When you make the appointment with what you think is a doctor, you are not - it is a nurse practitioner. The first girl gives you a 10 page packet and is "here is the program" Then the nurse comes in and right off the bat gives you diet pills. I actually told the nurse I don't react well to diet pills and/or appetite suppressants. She stated she gave me something other kind and lower milligrams. I don't believe this to be true. I took the evening one which was 25 milligrams (day is 75) and I thought I was going to die, I did the program without the pills. The next week I read about HCG and actually read the Pounds and inches. WOW read the book, so many things they didn't tell us, or why you you do certain things. They actually told us to stay on it until we lost all the wait. She looked appalled when we told her we were planning a trip to San Fran in October and suggested we take diet pills!!!! Needless to say recommend the program NOT RED MOUNTAIN There are local doctors and other med spas that offer the program. Find someone you fill comfortable and read. read more

Friday was my first visit to this office. I usually go to the Scottsdale location but I just moved to Tempe so I came here instead. Just as a recap for those that haven't read my Scottsdale review (and/or those that don't feel like) I started the HCG program with Red Mountain about two years ago and lost 55 lbs! Though I've kept off about 30 lbs, I recently was under a lot of stress and well, what can I say- I eat my feelings. Sorry bout it! Fortunately, I've found something that works for me to shed those extra pounds. Right off the bat I will tell you that this location requires a lot less waiting time! I love the Scottsdale location but as other reviewers mention it can be frustrating to wait for long periods of time for your appointment while randos walk in announced for shots and are seen right away. At the Mesa location I arrived (late, whoops) and was seen probably five minutes after checking in. My nurse...damn. What was her name? I'll have to look it up but anyway, I loved her! Very nice and told me what a good job I had done at keeping off the weight and overall was very supportive and upbeat. The front desk staff was very nice too. It's just such a relief to go to a "med spa" and not be greeted with snobbery. That's one of the things I love about Red Mountain in general is aside from one bad experience at the Scottsdale location these ladies are all super nice and super supportive. There's no body shaming or food shaming just very much "Okay, let's get you where you want to be." I'll keep you posted on my progress! read more

I'm writing this review as a warning to potential clients. I recently decided to try Phentermine after a failed 2 month use of RM3. I did not lose with RM3 but gained weight. This is another story, but a story that did cost me $1000. My long term health, and warning you to take care of yours is more important. After on Phentermine for a couple of weeks I experienced total loss of sight in my right eye for 30 seconds. It was terrifying. I contacted my eye doctor who told me I may have had a blood clot travel through the main blood vessel that supports the eyes and that I should see my cardiologist right away. My eye doctor hand wrote a detailed letter for the cardiologist explaining what he presumed was happening. I went to the cardiologist and at my appointment had to write down all supplements and medications I have been taking. And there it was; after my EKG the doctor said he was certain the Phentermine had caused the blood vessel to constrict and cut of circulation to my eyes. He told me to quit taking it immediately. He also scheduled me for full testing to see if I had any permanent damage, and told me to also see my neurologist. At my neurology appointment, my doctor came to the same conclusion about my loss of sight, it was the Phentermine restricting my artery and temporarily ceasing blood flow to my eye. He told me I was basically taking legal speed and to promise to never do it again. I contacted Red Mountain Weight loss via email and let them know the situation. I received a reply from the medical director of Red Mountain Weight Loss, Shelly Messler; "I do agree with your physician that it was possibly some momentary vasoconstriction that caused the visual loss. This would be a very scary reaction and is, fortunately, rare, but is known as a possible, though unlikely, event." My advice to any potential clients is that you do your own research before taking anything they want to prescribe. I was asked 1 question when I inquired about this appetite suppressant, and that was "am I sensitive to caffeine." I was not given any information about any potential side effects. The Velashape staff (Brea and Crystal) are Fantastic! If they are smart they will see the poor management there and get jobs with a better company! It's just to bad the rest of the staff falls short at this location. Front receptionist and phone personal lack manners and etiquette. You pay hundreds and even thousands of dollars for these services they provide BUT what they don't tell you is that they are very understaffed. Velashape requires 6-8 sessions (to start) at $200.00 bucks a pop and they recommend you come in 7-10 days in between. What they don't tell you is that getting an appointment for these time frames are almost close to Impossible! They are not accommodating to the plan THEY put you on and pretty much just give you the next available slot they have...even if it is 15+ or more days from the date they recommend. My most recent appointment that I made "more than 2 weeks in advanced" was change by their "MANAGER" without consulting with me to an earlier time in the day. I only found out it was changed AFTER I received a phone call reminding me of the following days appointment. When I contact them on the mistake the lady on the phone INSISTED I made that appointment time only to find out later her manager changed it. I informed them I could not make the early morning appointment due to my work schedule (reason why I schedule them in the afternoon). They gave me an insincere apology and told me that the 3pm appointment I had made originally was already taken and basically I was S.O.L. They told me their next appointment available was on the 19th (currently the 12th of July) which was 13 days after my previous treatment. They then proceeded to give me the take it or leave it attitude. I left it... For the money I paid I fill like I might as well just have thrown it away since I could not stay on their schedule and not sure if I am getting the results I am supposed to. Unfortunately I pre-paid for 8 sessions and I have 1 more left (left at their mercy and their time line available). You can be assured that this will be MY LAST time there! I will take my money elsewhere...and you should too. Dealing with their insincere and condescending staff along with it is a whole other story! This place is amazing. I have had huge success so far. I had hit rock bottom and was extremely depressed. Everytime I tried to work out and do it alone I hurt myself. I needed to see a difference or I was going to give up completely.At my highest i was 266lbs, and it was taking a huge toll on my relationship and I knew family and friends were asking my fiancee what happened when I wasn't around. I hit rock bottom when I realized my fiancee stopped looking at me the same, and I knew I needed a change. I spoke with numerous people about their experiences and did a ton of research before making my first appointment. I was scared because I loooove food but I knew that I had to do this or I would lose everything. So here I am 1 month later and I am proud to say that todays wiegh in was 244. I know there are nay-sayers out there, I don't have room for them in my life. Red Mountain Med Spa has made it possible for me to get up int he morning and be excited to see the differences in my body, my second chin is disappearing, its getting easier to do everyday things. I had been a previous patient at this particular location almost 2 years ago, with success. I had to discontinue the program I was on due to military orders out of state, however, I'm happy to say I have returned as of this morning. I had lost some unwanted pounds as a patient before, but alas, some sadly came back (crazy how that happens, right!?). I knew making a visit here would be the perfect kickstart to get back on track and prepare me for a summer body. I arrived at 830a to update my records prior to my 9a appt, and was taken back a few minutes prior to 9 (I LOVE that they're open on Saturdays). Brincia was the MA/nurse who brought me into the room to take vitals, photos, and answer my questions about different programs based on my goals. She was very sweet, friendly and knowledgeable; very bubbly and made me feel comfortable. After speaking with Brincia, I waited maybe 10 minutes to see the provider, Abigail. I was pleasantly surprised that she remembered me right off the bat; she even remembered when she last saw me! She took her time with me and was very patient when answering my questions/concerns. After she went over my body composition and the recommended program, Brincia was prompt in administering my fat burner injection and I was on my way! Dealing with your weight is embarrassing and uncomfortable, but Red Mountain Weight Loss treats its clients with Dignity. They help you believe you can succeed. They are encouraging and non-judgmental. It isn't cheap to do the RM3 but it works. Plus it is an incentive to stay on plan. I tried it a month and ended up doing 3. It's challenging, but has helped me lose almost 40 lbs. I don't want to gain in back. It has showed me that I can change the way I eat. I didn't believe I could ever do this. I am a bit dumbfounded at my follow up visit today at Red Mountain Weight Loss in Mesa. I started the RM3 program almost 4 weeks ago and felt i did well on the program and lost about 13 pounds still having 3 days to go to finish the full 4 weeks. When you initially go in they schedule you for a follow up visit 4 weeks out. I thought the visit was to weigh you to see how you did, go over the blood work they required, and to see if you want to continue. When the MA called me back she asked how I was doing and I responded that I thought I did well but I wasn't going to do another month right now, that I was going to go on my own and see if I can maintain for a while, maybe try to lose a few more pounds and possibly come back in a couple of months or so. The MA documented everything I said and then told me since I wasn't continuing on the program that she wouldn't be calling the doctor in because they would have to charge me. I said okay and asked for the results of the lab work I had done, which she said were good and had me sign a release and gave me a copy as requested. I kept thinking before I left she would want to weigh me to document in my chart how I did so if or when I decided to come back they would have a record of my successful weight loss on their program,but no, never asked me to weigh. It felt as though they didn't really care how I did on their program at all. If they cared about my return business then I would think they would have at least documented my successful weight loss. Unbelievable experience! When I walk through the door the girls at the front desk treat me like they have known me for years and can always answer any question I have. Then, whoever I meet with a Dr. M.A. P.A. whoever I feel like I am the most important person they have ever worked with. And most importantly. the RM3 program works, if you follow the plan. I lost 65 lbs in just over three months and it didn't even feel like I was on a diet. All I can say is; Take the pills, get the shots and follow the food plan and you will lose weight. If you think you know better and you don't follow the plan then don't waste your money, have fun on your yo-yo diet plan! read more
