This should be the standard for all medical practices. I live in buckeye and made the drive out here, and it was worth it. Excited to continue my treatments here Initial call over the phone went well so far. The instructions that the scheduler gave me for what to do before the initial consultation was more thorough than the other vascular surgeon's place I went to in peoria. This past appointment he storms in the room, looks down at my mom sitting in a wheelchair, and starts angrily yelling at her about questioning his care plan! She of course is looking at him confused because she has dementia!! Did he not look at her chart (I have been taking her here for a year and had 1 procedure already with him). Of course, I interjected because his attitude and demeanor were total uncalled for. He needs to check his attitude and ego at the door and should never speak to an elderly person that way EVER!

After two prior reschedules, he was on the table with IV in his arm when the Dr Braun decided he needed a release from Mike's cardiologist. Subsequently, the IV was pulled and he was told to come back with a current echo and release from the cardiologist. All that being said, they only perform the procedure once every two weeks which prolongs his continual severe pain and agony. I need to mention that he had a trial run with the implant procedure 2 weeks prior (per the requirement of the device manufacturer) with no mention of a release form his cardiologist. All went well and the device was very effective in monitoring his pain; he was extremely excited to get the final implant and to be pain free. The staff do not return phone calls and when a patient calls the phone message says to send text. When a text is sent there is no response. Not a good way to do patient care!
