Very hit or miss. I've gone here and gotten the most quality work done, and other times I've felt disappointed the moment I left. They are very accommodating for last minute appointments but also sometimes make you feel like you're in a rush when the salon fills up with new clients or other later reservations. I went to Red Nails salon for a manicure. I have to say they are very friendly and professional. My nails always split and break very easily. Since I have been going there (3 times now) My nails are finally growing and look pretty. I will recommend them to anyone. I'm having my family going there now. It was my first time there the place was clean and the people were nice. However, my pedicure was rushed and sloppy. On one of my toenails you can see a line where the second coat started because it wasn't covered properly. And one of my pinkie toes paint was all messed up even though I was beyond careful. For my manicure I got French tips and the French tips were super think and uneven. And she completely forgot a color which I know I said. The lady that did my nails was a little rough. Although they do look good I would have liked to have things even and my other color on my nails. This place was also very expensive, and for the quality of what I received I do not think it was with the expense that they charged. Overall because this was my first time going there I most likely won't be going back anytime soon. read more

only my second time there only went the second time because I broke a nail after 9 days and wanted it fixed and a gel polish change pick out a color then change my mind she said 10 more I asked why it was only opi color she said it was 10 more because it was opi she then did a magnetic like it was a cat eye but it wasn't a cat eye color 230 is a regular polish she pretended like the magnet was putting color change into the polish, but she wasn't even touching the nail. She was running it down the side of my finger on the skin I have done cat eye polishes many times I kept looking at it going. There is no change .that she pretended like she was doing a cateye was so strange. anyway 70 dollars to fix a nail and change the color when I was just there in nine days ago and paid $95 will not be going back that's for sure read more

Had a great pedicure today for $25! So glad that someone suggested I check this place out! Don't let the simple strip mall exterior fool you. The inside is spotless and modern. The basic pedicure included some excellent regular and hot stone massage with lotion and oil. My pedicure lasted around 40 minutes and was better than pedicures I've received for $60+ at local salons. read more

I recently went to red nail salon on June 30 had a woman named Sophia... I got a full gel set of nails and gel polish and just a regular pedicure... it's only a week later and so far 3 nails broke I had to glue them back on and 2 are not straight .. one nail is so big it looks fake from across the room... this whole thing cost me $125 plus $10 in tips .. i will never go back there ... horrible with nails... so do yourself a favor and do not go there... your probably better off going to the one in Walmart... Best pedicure of my life! Was very inexpensive. $30 for a French pedicure during which I received a long-ish leg and foot massage by hand, and then again with a hot towel and stones. Fully staffed with 8 manicurists/pedicurists. Very clean instead and a pleasant calming atmosphere. They had these adorable toeless socks so you don't mess up your pedicure. How thoughtful! Girls and I are planning a trip there when the weather gets nicer. It's worth the drive if you aren't nearby! read more

I've been here a few times and usually my experience is rather well, but on this occasion I am highly disappointed. I went in for a gel manicure, and got a different kind of polish that they need to use magnets for to move the color around. Not only did they do my nails once and didn't know how to do it, they then sent me to a different girl to take them all off and redo them (my cuticles are torn up) and even then she didn't do them correctly. And still after ruining my nails twice charged me $45. They also do not mention that this gel polish is more than any other gel polish. Highly disappointed. read more

Very nice place, small but very clean. All the instruments were starilized right in front of me and everything from the towels to the hand lotion was fresh. The only thing I didn't like was I started with one person and someone else came in to get a pedicure and then I had a different person so I had to sit and wait for like 15 minutes. Normally I wouldn't mind but I had those plastic things on that remove the gel nail polish and it was getting uncomfortable sitting there with them on for so long. But I like that they have rewards card and my nails came out looking beautiful. I also like that they massage you and your hands and they give you gloves to protect your hands from the uvb rays from the drying lamps which is good. Overall I got the rewards cards so I will be going back in the future and I would recommend this place. read more

It was the best pedicure I can ever remember having - ever. Nora is professional, courteous, and a phenomenal nail technician. She cleaned me up so well I hate that I live almost 3 hours away. The salon in general was great. I was greeted promptly, the stations are extremely clean, all staff were very friendly, and the prices reasonable. My daughter and I were vacationing in the area and decided to get pedicures. We had an 11:30 appointment. We weren't taken until 11:50. My technician didn't greet me, didn't allow me to soak my feet, and missed some spots when taking off my old polish. My daughter's technician started working on her at 12:00 and was finished by 12:25. She was rude and was obviously rushing. Overall, the service here was terrible. Very nice, terrible nails. I went in looking to get short square nails, light pink. I got the light pink but my gosh the shape was terrible. Not only was the shape terrible three of them popped off within two days. I almost had to pay 70 dollars for them, thankfully I had a gift card. I left the nail salon as they have become to big for their britches and could care less how you leave there feeling. And they also didnt care to turn you away and made you feel like they could care less if they ever see you again. So with that said, i figured it was time to move on.. evidently they do not want my money. I tried 3 new places all pretty disappointing, and i am not mentioning names as that is not what this is about. I decided to try red nails on newton sparta road. They were pretty welcoming and took me without an appointment which is something i need as i run a business of my own and it is difficult to get away most times. I let the girl know that greeted me that i have not had any luck in finding a salon and was gonna give them a shot. i got a regular pedicure and a gel fill. When done my nails looked awesome, only complaint i may have is the tech was just a bit rough on my cuticles. I think from now on i will just ask them to soak them making them more pliable for that part of the session. And i think it was a bit pricier then my old place. But overall i was very pleased and intend to go back for another shot at them as they made my nails look like they were suppose to. To me what matters is not only the quality of the work but how you are greeted and treated, as i am dropping a good dollar for this service .. just a bit of humble is part of the overall experience. The first time I went I got a pedicure and full set pink and white gels. Great service and a good experience. The next time I went in for a fill the woman who answered the phone wrote down the wrong day, time, and the number of people for service. We went back the following day and the service was fine. The third and final experience was this past week. Went in for the pink and white gel fill. I was told I needed a new set because the tips had popped off. (Some places do extensions which build on your natural nail and they don't lift like glue on tips, much better) I told them no I was not paying for a full set. This is what maintenance is for. So they file them down and do the maintenance and rather than doing a gel fill, the paint the tip white with gel polish and then clear coat over. This is not a pink and white gel fill! This was a gel fill with a french gel manicure, which is not what I wanted at all. Needless to say I will not be returning. For the same price I can go to high end salons and get what is actually advertised. Oh and my mom was offered a massage during her service, which they normally do at some point anyway, but the guy didn't tell her that massage was extra. So she paid $15 for a 10 minute massage when a 3-4 minute massage is normally included. If you are trying to upsell you need to tell your customers that you are charging and it is additional. read more

Their prices are affordable and they do an EXCELLENT job! They have weekly specials and a bonus card which I think is great! Sarah took care of me today and did a fantastic job!
