I honestly can not think of one complaint for this nail salon. The ladies were all amazingly friendly and courteous. Array of colors was vast and ranged from higher brands like OPI, Essie type brands to drugstore brands like wet n wild and sinful colors. I chose a color and sat down for like two minutes before I was called over to my massage chair for the pedi. I opted for the deluxe pedi and the basic mani with gel polish. From the quality of massage to the polish job done I am just super impressed with this place and thankful this place is right down the street. read more

I went in on Saturday, got a fill and polish change. At first I thought it was really great, the girl was very attentive and took over an hour filing and grinding my nails. Then came the bad. The VERY next day I was changing my toddler and my nail got hooked on her pants and my middle nail ripped off. THE WEIRD THING WAS I BARELY EVEN FELT IT. I've had nails ripped off before; it's hurt like hell. So for this to happen the next day and not hurt, I knew that they were poorly done. I couldn't go get it fixed right away, I had to wait til Wednesday. By then 4 other nails were snagging on the sides and the polish just looked dull. So I went it and the woman who appeared to be the owner said it happened because my nail was old. Which makes ZERO sense because I've only had this set on for 2 months. They fixed my nail quickly, applied a top coat to the rest to make them not as dull looking and filled down the edges that were snagging. After leaving I noticed they cut my finger twice while applying a new tip, and now my nails are snagging on things again. AND they charged me to fix my nail even though it had happened a day after they applied them. I definitely will not be going back to this salon. They were unapologetic, and UPDATE: it is now one week after my initial appointment and my top coat is now peeling off! If I could give zero stars I would UPDATE NUMBER TWO: the nail I had repaired just Completely peeled off of my nail. Like the entire acrylic nail, full blown peeled off. NEVER EVER GO read more

I went to her about 4 months ago with literally half a toenail left due to a fight with an ingrown gone awry....if anyone has ever suffered, you feel me. I had already been told that I should give up and lose the entire nail and "hope" that it would eventually grow back. Alas, I did not give up! Enter Kathy. She took her time, coaxed my little toe that could and voila, 3 months later my toenail is all grown up again! Almost 4 stars :) 1. they charged me different prices each time for gel acrylic fill-3 times in a row! 2. don't bother making an appt cause you still end up waiting 10-15min..sitting and waiting ..they accommodate the walkins right along with those who had appts-I experienced this 3 times and once I got booted for a walkin-mother and her two daughters. How does that work? Shouldn't they take care of the appts first? Maybe, I was forgotten? 3. Prices is on the high end for acrylic gel fill! You pay $38 for a full acrylic gel set and for a fill its $27-28 depends who does your nails. If you want nail art its $5 each nail (like most places) but as you can see it adds up It is important to list the positive things too 4. It's very clean..the cleanest in town 5. Very friendly and they're good about acknowledging customers right when they walk in the door ...my experience with other nail salons-they get caught into their work they don't realize customers walking in 6. They are very apologetic even if they are running five minutes late they are good about checking in with customers that are waiting 7. Most places try to make you do nail art this place does not do that they do not force it on you. 8. Most salons they converse in their own language and as a customer you cannot help but wonder if they are talking about you this place you don't get that.... They speak their language very little and usually it is about work you can kind of tell... Now the 5 stars is for Kathy..she's the newest but very experienced! She's pleasant, easy to talk to, and her work speaks for itself! She does awesome work! Book with her and see for yourself...of course this would mean she will be busy and start to book quickly but I'm all about sharing the love. Super clean. Wonderful service! Solid gel color selection and unlike a lot of places they give you a full cleaning in addition to cut & file for gel. Very reasonably priced at $25! My hubs got the extra massage pedicure (no polish) and he's still raving about it. The paraffin plus hot stone massage really bowled him over. And after a week in the field (he's a marine!), his feet REALLY needed some TLC. Worth every penny for $40. read more

What a gorgeous place! The Roman like theme will make you feel like a goddess while you are soaking your toes or getting your fingernails girlified! First off, the massage chair did not work and no offer was made to change to another available chair. I felt "worked on" and not pampered. Both ladies - one doing mani and the other doing pedi - cut me. The pedi lady drew blood twice with only a cursory apology. The mani lady started and stopped my manicure several times to do other things without advising me that she needed to do something else. It is always difficult to find a good nail salon whenever I am in a new location. My job requires frequent moves. This was my first try at a nail salon and I will be looking for a more satisfactory place. They're all over the place, they don't value appointments just make them and "try" to make it work when you show up. Multiple other "appointments" waiting incredibly long wait times. Best mani/pedi I've had in a LONG time. The technician that I got was very thorough, took her time making sure everything looked perfect, and even managed to upsell me on my pedicure because I was just so pleased with how relaxed and amazing I was feeling. I am sad I live in Northern California and am not in the Oceanside area. It's been over a week and a half since my mani/pedi and it still looks amazingly good. Only suggestion is to be patient. When they are busy, it takes a little longer to get to you but I think that's pretty typical of any nail salon. read more

While you ask for # 1 and say you want the Basic pedicure they later charge you for the most expensive pedicure. Be careful of this bate and switch! I use to only get my lashes done here by Chloe (who is amazing) but recently started to get pedicures and my nails done. They are very clean and pay attention to detail. I always get sooo many compliments on my eyelashes people can't believe they're fake . I receive just as many compliments on my nails as well . It was my first time coming here and Brenda knocked it outta the park with my nails. Her attention to detail and artistic skill impressed me. She's also very nice. The reason I give 4 stars instead of the five she deserves is because my pedicure was alright but as soon as I said I didn't want the callous remover she didn't scrub the heal at all, the polish looks beautiful though. I will definitely be back and probably opt for the callous remover next time so my pedicure feels more complete, but had Brenda not been so good I may not have returned. read more
