The only place in Koreatown where it meets my high standards and expectations of perfect simple single-colored gel manicure and pedicure. The gels last me three weeks plus (see photo for reference) and the finish is like glass. The technician I always request for is UKA and recently I was extremely pleased with MONICA and STAR. Highly recommend to make an appointment with specific technician. The vibe is chill, clean, and welcoming.

Came in to get gel polish removed and a gel manicure. My hands are very dry and i have a lot of dry excess cuticles. Molly was my nail tech and she did an amazing job cleaning out my cuticles and a meticulous job layering the polish. I LOVED the result, will definitely be coming here again! The location itself is very clean and welcoming, they even offered me a complimentary drink to enjoy while getting my mani. :)

I've been going to Red Polish for over a year now and I can honestly say it's such a great nail salon. Every visit has been a great experience-- the atmosphere is always calm, clean, and welcoming. The staff are always so sweet and the hygiene is always front of mind. They even offer you a drink while you're getting pampered! Uka is my go-to nail tech. She knows exactly what I like and consistently delivers great results. I show her an inspiration picture and she executes to near perfection all the time. She has great eye for design and colors that I never doubt whenever she suggests something to me. Uka also saved my nails and my cuticles as they were in a really bad state when I started going to her. 1 year later and my nails have been healthier than ever. She never upsells me on a more expensive manicure or design-- if anything, she convinced me to go back to hard gel compared on having to keep on doing gel X when my nails got healthy enough.

I live near this nail shop, so thought I'd give it a try! I was going on a long trip and wanted to have decent nails before embarking on my travels. I love how I was able to make an appointment for the next day online -- this was super convenient and easy to do. When I arrived at my appointment time, it was fairly empty and I was seated right away. The lady who did my nails was efficient and did a fantastic job. They also have a fairly expansive color selection for gel nails, which I appreciated. They were playing The Wedding Planner movie on the TV and they also brought me sparkling water and candy, which I thought was a nice touch. I left with nails that I was happy with. I don't think the gel here lasts as long as some of the other places I've gotten my nails done, but they still remained in perfect condition for a little over a week.

Yes, yes yes! If you're on the fence or looking for new nail techs, head here yesterday. Anar did such a great job on my birthday set. I didn't fully know what I wanted but shared a few inspiration photos. She gave me space to collaborate on the concept in the shop without rushing me. Also, I had to leave before my nails were done for a commitment, so she flexibly made me a part 2 appointment for later that evening. Anar had incredible attention to detail and it was evident she cared just as much about the final look as much as me. Shop is also open until 8, unlike the typical 7p. They have a widddde range of colors, design styles, and other items to create really unique designs. Also, from what I read, they have a host of great nail techs, so you can't go wrong. Book themmmm.

I've been coming to Red Polish regularly for over a year now, and Kim has been my Day 1 from the start! She is so thorough and careful and will take the time to make sure everything is perfect. She is also the sweetest!! I get gel manicure or gel with design, and Kim will always deliver. My nails will still be in amazing shape by the time I come back the next month. The prices are reasonable, the space is clean, and the service is always good. Easy online booking available. I always recommended Red Polish and Kim to all of my friends:)

My friend recommended me to come here for their artistry and service! As my first time coming in and what I really loved about this place is they truly take their time to make sure your nails are perfect! Anar did my chrome manicure and she did an AMAZING job! She's also extremely sweet and easy going. Highly recommend! My sister got her cat nails mani from Ruby and pedi from Nana and she was incredibly impressed by the quality that her nails looked. The salon is very cute, they offer matcha, coffee, tea which is a plus! We will definitely be coming back! 10/10

I come here all the time but today I went to get a gel x mani removal and a gel pedi. It was taking a while, so I ended up just removing both without the gel pedi. (It took a total of 2 hours just to remove... And I was burned and clipped a few times. I thought maybe she was new so I just let it be... it's fine. Not a huge deal) Typically, my gel x removal is $15 but my total today was $55 even though I only got removals? So my gel pedi removal was $40?! I asked the guy in the front about it to double check... I clarified "2 removals is $55?" and he said yes. So I paid it and still tipped the girl $10. But if it really is this price for a gel pedi removal, that is insane?! Would suggest getting removals elsewhere... read more

Honestly I've been going here since 2018 and there's a reason why.... the skills of the nail techs here are unbeatable paired with their care and kindness. Every one I've recommended this spot to ADORES the teams here! It's so amazing to see how much Zoey has grown and she's in high demand for a reason! I spent like $170. Can someone explain to me why my manicure is $95? My nail lady hurt me a few times filing. Nail painting is not consistent. They don't seem consistent on quality because whoever did my toes seemed new and inexperienced. She filed some of toes a weird shape. We were able to get serviced right away. We decided to get classic pedicures with a ten minute massage. The nail tech I got was very detailed and very nice. There are 3 reasons I go to LA Ktown from Irvine. And TWO of the reasons are from this place. 1. Jennifer - nails 2. Minjae - lashes When Jennifer does my nails, they last over a month. I have a toddler (lots of housework) and I go on business trips (different country) often but my nails have survived in all circumstances. I get compliments from everywhere I go, and just looking at my nails every morning, makes me smile, 'cause they are sooo pretty. :) Minjae has done my lashes for over a year now. She knows what's the best for my eye-shape and makes my whole face prettier by having the lashes. Even for the touch ups she removes all and puts new lashes as she likes to see clean/perfect lashes. They are pro at what they do and I am so happy to have them in my LIFE! read more

This is my 3rd time coming here and I'm beyond amazed. After the place I usually go to closed down, I went to a couple of places before coming here and they did excellent till my gel x nail came off 3 days later! RED POLISH SALON is the business! I didn't think I would ever find another gem salon Menorie does wonderful gel x nails and Monica's pedicures are heavenly! Their prices are beyond reasonable and they don't do half ass done jobs. I used to go to waxes with anxiety and a million back up plans for the inevitable ingrowns and irritation and discomfort. But with Ricki, I NEVER have post treatment skin issues, and she makes the entire process as painless as possible. Her vibes are incredible, which is great when you're in the vulnerable situation of getting a brazilian! Ricki also does my brow lamination and tinting. I came to try it once five years ago and I've been back about every month or so ever since haha, I love the way I feel with Ricki-fied brows. They give me the extra boost of confidence I need to thirve. I've had three promotions since I started seeing her, if that gives you any idea of the level of confidence we are talking. Also had a fill canceled on me two days before i was supposed to come in during a weekend i had an important event. After i found a different salon to go to since my appointment got canceled, ive realized that GBY is not a good salon at all. The new salon i went to wouldn't even do the fill for me because they said i don't have many natural lashes left and if they did a fill on me then it wouldn't last. I had no choice but to have them remove what was left on my lashes and i purchased a growth serum after being advised to take a month long break to grow my lashes back and return for a real individual lash set. I'm extremely disappointed in GBY as they've not only been charging hundreds of dollars for lash extensions made with cheap products but Courtney rushes through appointments and she uses hella clusters on what is supposed to be an individual lash set. They don't care about being honest with clients and that is a huge red flag for me.

There was great, relaxing music to listen to which drowned out any other noise- but it wasn't too loud! Since it's a facial, your eyes are closed the whole time- and so is everyone else's- so it actually felt much more private than I expected. They also provide a private changing room and a lockable locker for your belongings, so I was able to change into a robe and feel completely at ease- no need to worry about keeping your shirt on in an open space. Lani was awesome and walked me through every step of the process, explaining what she was doing and how each treatment would benefit my skin, but I never once felt bothered or pulled out of my relaxed state. It was honestly the most gentle facial I have ever had. While the masks were setting, she massaged my hands and shoulders, which was a lovely touch that really elevated the whole experience. I did get a little chilly, but that is entirely on me- I run cold! Next time I will just ask for an extra blanket! This kind of care and attention made the whole experience feel truly personalized. I left feeling great and will absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Always amazing service with such talented and experienced techs! They are so attentive to what they are doing. I have been going to this place over 5 years and it is definitely one of my go to places. Not many place does good and long lasting nails as them. I have tried couple other nail salons in Miracle Mile and Beverly Hills Area, but my nails always get chipped within a week. Zoey is amazing!!! DO NOT COME HERE!! They destroyed my nails! Came here for a simple removal (They know NOTHING about acrylics) Rather than quickly removing my current nails she filed them down to the point where they are impossible to come off & look like I stuck my hand in a shredder. She cut me multiple times and there's still half the nail on half my fingers. To make things worse She tipped herself and tooke 20$ out of the change I gave her, As if I wasn't still going to tip after the crappy job. Your better off having a 3 year old do your nails. I had a one-time experience at Red Polish where I got French ombre nails, and it was amazing! The ladies working there were incredibly calm and communicative throughout the process. As a South Asian Angelino, I often feel out of place at some nail salons, but that was not the case here. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment I walked in. The best part? I do my mani, pedi, and waxing all here. They are absolutely amazing and after the management changed, the atmosphere changed to a good vibe! Other than their amazing skills and service, they provide you with snacks and drinks unlike many other shops. You just have to go try yourself.
