We called this morning around 9am for an appointment as early as possible. She told us she'd call us back with availability. Within 20 min she said to come in at 10am... we showed up at around 9:48am when her staff came in early and let us get started... mind you, we needed to be at LAX by 12pm for my friend's flight-- Eeek! I asked for a custom, gel mani and they said, no problem (they have alllll the goodies for designs)!! Finished my manicure by about 10:45am and did my gel pedicure by EXACTLY 11:16am. I check this place out. I looked for their salon here on Yelp. Saw some nail art and read the comments. A lot of the customers recommend Gigi. So I called and booked a nail appointment. I was so excited. I got there on time, and Gigi was already there. So we started precisely at 9am. I was enjoying my time there. We have some friendly conversations. I noticed how passionate she was about her work, and very detailed too. We finished at 10:30am, and it did not matter because I was satisfied with her work. Would never return. Have never in my life left a gel pedicure service with cracked heels (no callus remover even offered at time of service, and seldom needed when proper pumice tool is used). Charged $10 for removal of gel, which was not listed online nor at time of booking. No massage offered whatsoever. Not to mention the guy doing my pedicure ripped off the side cuticle of my big toe and it's still, 4 days later, red, swollen, and painful! They also don't have actual pedicure bowls. Instead, they used a small plastic storage box. Online booking price for standard gel pedicure was $55. They ended up charging me $70 with the gel removal? One star for my personal proximity to location and another star for the jazz music they played during my service. Otherwise, don't waste your time nor money. read more

This has been the 3rd time I've come to Jedi! Nara is the best and she makes my natural nails look amazing. I honestly never consistently got my nails done until I met her. I'm always so relaxed when she does my nails (esp with cuticle care - this part used to make me nervous bc other estheticians I've had either would make me bleed or it would hurt). I live in the same building this salon is located, however no matter how convenient it was for me I didn't feel right switching my regular technician, even though my husband kept telling me how good the reviews are or how nice it looks from the outside, until my technician messed up bad and I was in need of a quick fix, I booked an appointment and wow... I can't believe I never listened to my husband or came here before! Gigi is absolutely amazing! She is very kind and a perfectionist, she does take her time to make sure your nails are perfect, she was very putting a lot of effort to make sure my nails are even, in the shape I like them, using a choice of color that would suit me best, and making sure I'll love my final result. Set up an appointment a day before for 5:15pm for a simple pedicure, get a call around 4PM asking if I could come later, I explained to them I could come in early but could not come at 6 as they wanted me to. Came in at 5:17 and they asked me if I could wait 30 minutes because they had already taken another client so I walked out, completely unprofessional. Normally I don't bother writing reviews, but Gi Gi is AMAZING!! Besides being super nice and lovely to work with (not to mention accommodating with appointment times) she is an absolute artist. Come in with any nail inspo and she will paint you a gorgeous set while keeping your nails strong and healthy. These photos are my natural nails (!!!) with gel polish, no extensions or acrylics, and her gel manicures easily last me 3+ weeks! The prices are really fair, the entire team is great, and it's a gorgeous, clean, cozy, space. It's super walkable from Sunset, but there's also free 2-hour street parking if you're driving. Plus, if you, like me, are obnoxious about booking appointments over the phone, you can do it all online or by text. I couldn't recommend Jedi Beauty Lab more highly! read more

I went to Jedi 2.5 weeks ago when I was in LA and decided to wait how my mani/pedi will last before writing a review. After this time I can vouch for place 10000%. 1st of all stuff is amazing, super nice and makes you feel comfortable. I got regular pedi and gel mani, since I was the only one in salon (came during the day) they did mani/pedi at the same time, so I was out in 50 min which is incredible. My nails are very thin and usually gel many last about 10 days in best case of scenario if I go to super fancy place. From Jedi it lasted for 2.5 weeks and I could go longer just my nails grew and wanted to chance it, never happen before. Pedi is still great and will keep it for another week at least(no chips). I will def recommend that place in area cause I tried many other places and Jedi by far is the best. They also pretty new and would be nice to have community support im sure) I'm adding one photo of nails after 2.5 weeks right before I changed it. Again it doesn't look perfect but trust me with many other places my cuticles look like this in 3 days not 18 days. Good luck and I will def make it my place to go when I'm in LA read more

I have searched far and wide to find a great nail artist/technician for a gel manicure. I am so happy I found Daashka at Jedi Beauty Lab. I am very picky when it comes to my nails. I work in the entertainment industry and have done hand modeling and commercial print ads for brands like Taco Bell, Apple, Google, Samsung. Finding someone who has a great eye and attention to detail is important as it is part of my living. I can't go to anyone else. Daashka takes time to make sure my nails are perfect. She has an excellent eye. I am so happy with my nails. They have even lasted for over 3 weeks or until my next visit. If you're looking for a high quality nail salon, I would look no further. There is parking available which is a godsend especially in Hollywood. The salon is beautiful, spacious, airy 2-story facility with floor to ceiling windows. I highly recommend coming here. The woman who did my hands was overly rough with the nail drill while removing my dip powder pulled back in pain numerous times...then had the nerve to charge me $20 for the removal! Only cause I was in pinch and was headed to a concert after, I decided to get lashes done, was charged $120 for a very basic set, then I see them offer the same service for $50. I don't mind spending money for good work but this place is absolutely overrated and overpriced!! read more

Made a last-minute appointment on my way home from another service appointment. Chosen for proximity and availability. Big mistake not asking ahead of time what the cost would be. $110 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. (My usual place is $60.) No spa chairs and inadequate space to receive a proper service. The techs were pretty nice, but there was no massage - very basic mani/pedi, and they don't carry many OPI colors. They did do a decent job - hoping that it lasts.
