I love it here! So peaceful and a well-decorated space. The complimentary drink is such a nice touch! I had a regular mani pedi by Kimberly and she was so sweet and really detail oriented. She made sure everything was to my liking and took great care of my nails. She also took the time to remove an ingrown nail that's been bugging me for the longest. As a long-time patron of Red Polish, it pains me to drop this negative review, but I felt that it needed to be said. My son is visiting from Europe with his gf to attend a wedding. He and I came into the salon on Tuesday to make an appointment for her, we scheduled it for Friday, today. While making the appointment, we were met by a rude employee. She was curt and a bit combative. She asked what time we would like the appointment, and we said noon. She responded rudely by asking "what time noon?" We responded 12:00. Fine, whatever. My son and his gf arrived at the salon for her 12pm appointment and were told that it wasn't scheduled until 12:20. Again, they were treated rudely by the same front desk employee. They left the salon and found another Ktown nail shop. Upon learning this, I dbl checked my text msg from them, which confirmed that the appointment was at 12pm. I called to follow up with Red Polish to ask why they were misrepresenting themselves. They admitted that they were down a nail tech and that they had to reschedule the appointment. I also conveyed my disappointment with them and how they handled the situation. The fact that they are new management shouldn't affect their customer service, but sadly, I may be mistaken. read more

I have loved the service I got until today. Normally reliably great service and attention to detail. Today was the opposite of that. - The technician did not allow the nails to soak long enough to remove the nail charm, causing damage to my actual nail, even after I mentioned it hurt. Literally a little piece of my actual nail came off (a little was left behind thank god) and you can see the red of my nail bed. It wasn't the end of the world and I could continute with the service. - The technician then did an french tip ombre instead of a flat french tip like i requested, ok not the end of the world but I like gold tape applied as a line on a flat french tip and now that doesn't work. This wasn't a verbal miscommunication, there were photos. I literally got it done there. I'm not sure what the issue was. - The last was the charms I brought were put on upside down. I didn't notice until I left (on me), but honestly I didn't notice as I have some other stuff going on and this was supposed to take my mind off it. I'm like did you not even look at this as a tech to flag that it looks weird? To be clear, it is a pair of lips so yes it is going to be wildly annoying. I called in to provide feedback and honestly they did offer for me to come in. I have to leave tomorrow out of state and it would be impossible to make the time. I shouldn't have had to either. I won't be back for 2 weeks, and now I have to deal with it or fix it in NYC. Honestly, feel like I just dropped $100+ on what was supposed to be a much needed boost on something that is just going to annoy me when I look at my fingers. Again - normally the only place that gets everything right got everything very wrong today. And I don't think it's on me despite having an off day. read more

I have been coming here for the past year to get my nails done every 1-2 months by Zoey. I always ask for a different gel polish with design and Zoey exceeds my expectations every time. She is so sweet and one of the most skilled nail artists I've met. Her attention to detail is amazing and her prices are also very reasonable. I have been coming to Red Polish for years. It is my tried-and-true nail salon and Uka is my #1. Uka is always so warm and friendly AND is always up to do any wacky, weird, or even boring nail design I want. I am always happy with my fresh set of Gel X (which is every 2-3 weeks!) The work I get done at Red Polish is well done and lasts a long time, I only really come in every 2-3 weeks because I want a polish change and not for repair! Had a nail day with a friend and she recommended this place of a little gem in the heart of ktown. It's super organized with the day and time of appointments... so I'm not sure if they even do walk ins. My nail tech lady was Monica, she was sooo sweet and understood me ... she gave me the PERFECT birthday nails. They were perfect and I got sooo many compliments on them. She took her time with everything and payed much attention to details (so important)! After having lovely conversation with her, I found out we shared the same birthday!! What was awesome was she already had a whole nail plan for my nails after understanding my likes, my needs and my wants/goals for my nails in the long term. So my second visit was exactly what she had planned... a gel extension fill with design. My father recently passed away and my sisters and I got nail designs to honor my dad and his awesome talent and passion he had for the drums. Monica again did NOT disappoint!! I had such messed up nails and hadnt been to a salon in over 2 years. I had Monica as my tech and she is amazing. She was really sweet and non judgmental and did my nails to perfection. I pulled up a photo from Pinterest and she pretty much gave me exactly what I wanted. It was a natural spring-time look. She took her time and was very professional. My favorite salon! The vibe is always so chill and they always have music or a show playing!! Service is so accommodating and they also offer free drinks! The cleanliness is amazing. Came in today for a Gel X manicure and regular pedicure. Truly the best manicure I've had in awhile. I had Menorie and she was so meticulous and she did the nail shape I wanted exactly. Pedicure was 10/10. Whole appointment lasted an hour and 45 mins. I would say my manicure was 9/10, i would give it a 10/10 if I was just getting a solid color, but I got French tips. The only thing I would change would be the white part of the French tips to look more like the reference photo and follow the shape of the nail instead of being so thick and kind of straight across. Wish that was an easy fix, but I didn't say anything because she had already cured one nail before I saw. Also loved that they had movies on, two really cute dogs hanging out and offered me coffee from their cute coffee bar. read more

It can be a struggle to find a good nail place, but I've been going to Zoey and this salon for over 2 years every month and I've never been disappointed. Best nail techs and lashes in Koreatown! Uka is the kindest nail tech I've worked with, and is always able to execute any designs I show her from google searches, no matter how complex or wild they are. Every time, they turn out better than the original photo! She's also very gentle and never pinches or scratches-a common occurrence for me at other nail salons. Prices are pretty standard for nail salons in the area, and 100% worth it when it comes to the amazing talent working here. I've also worked with Menoire one other time, and had a great experience with her as well. I always get compliments on my nails when I get them done here. For lashes, Badmaa is the standard for other lash techs I have seen thus far. Her prices are reasonable, the lash glue she uses lasts a solid long time and lash cleaning is included with the service. She also tries to create a relaxing, therapeutic experience for clients, plus is very nice and welcoming. The hybrid lashes are my favorite so far-the results are stunning each time. read more

I love Red Polish! I haven't found another nail salon that can beat their prices in LA! It's usually pretty easy to book appointments with them (few days in advance), they always have a movie playing which keeps me entertained while getting my nails done, and they offer free drinks! I always have a different technician every time I go so level of service and care does vary from person to person but overall I'm happy with this place and always go back :) read more

I opted for a gel x manicure, almond shaped nails, and I always prefer a dry manicure (which is what they do at NO6). I was going for a springtime/pastel look, and it certainly helped that the cat-eye polishes were the perfect shades. First of all, she not welcoming at all. I told her I wanted black and if they had gold glitter polish for the top, since I did a similar style the first time. She said oh the cat eye is an extra $25. I told her that's not what I asked for and she showed me a black with some glitter on it and picked that. While the other girl was working on my pedicure, the gel mani lady didn't bother to get herself a chair, she was just standing and She kept smearing my nails and when I would tell her she would just dismiss me oh I will file it and it will get fixed when you put your nails inside the gel machine. She placed the gel machine right on top of my lap. I told her if she had a small table to put it on instead of the radiation falling directly on my lap. She said no they didn't and the girl doing my pedicure told her to place a pillow instead. Smh then the manicure girl tried to say I put nail polish on the pillow when the pillow was already dirty. She left a lot of blank spaces on my nails too including the sides of the nails and the bottom too. The nails are chipped and gel hanging from them, with extra uneven coating. Some of them had air bubbles too. I asked who will be charging me, and another lady came and I told her that her employee didn't leave them right and the manicure girl came over and that other lady was like "oh she is saying you left empty spaces" no I'm not just saying, you both could see it for yourselves. It was $103 for the service but not worth the quality. The pedicure girl was good she took her time and was attention to detail. She just didn't add enough coating and my nails look brown instead of black. The gel of my pinky finger fell off a few hours after I got them done. The lady offered to redo my nails free of charge at the moment (not really free because I still paid for them) but i was unable to at the moment and told her I needed to come on Monday after work and what would be the latest she could redo them. She said 5pm. So I'm coming from Sylmar and made it ten minutes early to make it as early as possible. I still had to wait because she was working on someone else. Such a waste of time. She did them much better, and apologized for the bad service. However, I will not be returning and it's unfortunate that one would want to support their community's business, yet not provide professional service and not properly train employees.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!
