I got Wanda Hill. She gave me an email. She stated it as plain as day. I wrote it down and repeated it. It sounded to begin like I was entering into a game. She said what I wrote was fine as well. Before I disconnected, I told Wanda, I'd be down after lunch. When I went downstairs, I met Wanda in the office. She claimed she didn't receive the email. I suggested it might be in her junk mail. She said it wasn't there. Then, she started looking around for a piece of paper to write on. I assume then there was no notepaper. She found paper, ripped a piece and wrote the email for me. I went upstairs to check to see if I'd written it properly. There was not a letter out of place in comparison with the note. I'll decline wandering back downstairs to please the staff and find an alternative to print.

The Aliveness Project is a community center for the HIV/AIDS community within Minnesota. They…read moreservice over 1600 members (which accounts for 1/4 of the population of the state living with HIV/AIDS) with all of their member benefits as well as with community outreach. Offering lunch, dinner, and Saturday brunches it's a place to go for those dealing with the debilitating affects of HIV to be able to socialize without fearing the stigma's that are still associated with it. Aliveness also offers services like a full food shelf (with care products/food for your furry friends should you need it), Case Management services, Integrative Therapies (ie. Acupuncture, Shiatsu Anma, Healing Touch Massage, Chiropractic Services, Reiki Healing), as well as health and wellness training seminars. They have a large voice in Minnesota and look to help those that may not be able to afford help, or those that don't know where to go to seek it. Without their continued efforts hundreds of people in the Twin Cities and even rural communities would go without what most people consider to be necessity. Two stars for some of the staff for very supportive but the other three or should I say none of them at all are deserved for everybody else. The house that I live in is not great at all if you have autism. They do not know very well how to deal with autism and blindness so yes I understand it's about training but still. The way they deal with me is not as good as it should be in my opinion. Like I said we got some new stuff in the house and they are great, first experience when I moved in was awesome, but problems really worsened last year. The problems last year wer but I had a staff call me the n-word and treat me like crap. I have had people that act rude and unprofessional with me. I've got to admit I'm not the most easy person to handle sometimes, but the way that they handle it is not great. Also I've had things stolen from me by one of my roommates and let me tell you that's not a fun experience. This reviews for Olmsted county because Olmsted county is not on Yelp.this is really not a great place at all. I feel like I was just put in some random house although I was the one that chose it to the thought it look nice and they said they were specially trained to handle people coming from institutions. The school that I came from his nuts in institution like what you would normally think but still it wasn't a community living environment either. Into the community 3 years ago and honestly I moved into the community three years ago and honestly this is not a great first community experience. It's not great, but it's not horrible either. It's really kind of mediocre. They have tried to get need to eat food that I don't eat, specifically one staff oh, because he didn't feel like making accommodations cuz he just wanted to do it was convenient for him. well he needs to learn to realize that what's convenient for him is not appropriate for me sometimes. She needs to learn to understand that and I feel like they need a little more training on autism. My meal plan and other plans discussed up my last recent meetings are not being followed and I'm not too happy with that. I had my phone stolen just last week I my roommate and she threw it into the snow in three pieces. Unbelievable!they don't get me a little whole lot, and when they do it's mostly trips to be dropped off at my mom's work, the store to only get what I need or I have to give them my card so they go get what I need, and doctors appointments and clave de program coma and that's kind of thing. Also sometimes if I don't equilibrium given then I don't eat. That's not a good thing considering if I'm not eating something that I have more behavior issues.!again this goes back to that one staff that I sync needs specialized training to handle autism because he is not qualified to work with people with Autism. I was exactly why my family does not want anybody unqualified working with me, for this exact reason. I'm hoping things get resolved soon. Things are starting to get better though I don't more positive note, wicked people that actually listen and understand what's going on. I'm happy to have administrator sitter understanding and listen to what's going on. Things are much better than me where is few months ago, but I think there's a few little kinks in the system that need to be worked out.

The staff became like family to us and we were so sad to leave. Ms. Theresa is an incredible Director! Always great at communicating with families, very organized and easy to talk to. All of the teachers are so sweet and friendly, and loved our kids so much. Rainbow does an amazing job of creating an engaging and fun curriculum for the kids. Each week has a theme of what the kids are learning about, and the staff does a great job of teaching about the topics at hand. My kids were always bringing home amazing art projects and even teaching me a thing or two. Rainbow also has an amazing music program. They put on two adorable concerts per year, and we absolutely loved them! The summer program is a blast with field trips and lots of special events and guests that visit the kids. Our daughter went into Kindergarten extremely prepared in her writing and reading skills, and I give all of the credit to Rainbow. Overall, just an incredible school that has made a huge impact on our family. Thank you for everything!
