The only thing I found odd about the hotel was that in the room there was not a TV remote, we actually had to call the front desk and request one.

We stayed at this low budget Inn for our visit to Winstar Casino. The best thing about this hotel…read moreis the Winstar shuttle that comes every 20 or so minutes. The coffee in the lobby tastes like an old ashtray, the staff are as friendly as they can be. The 3rd floor where we stayed was horrible and this is not an understatement. It was a smoking floor as that is all they had available. It smelled so stick of cigarettes that it instantly started to irritate my throat. We seen housekeeping staff member who was spraying deodorizer on the carpet as we were walking up the hallway I stopped her and asked her if she could come inside of our room and spray our room as well and she did. Fast forward to Sunday night we were due to leave the next morning and we were getting our items together and my husband seen a roach runoff the luggage under the sofa he pulled the sofa from the wall took a picture of the roach and then killed it after that happened I could not turn off the lights to the room cause I was scared if I turned out the lights maybe other roaches would come out so it made for a horrible last night and they need to do some extermination and some carpet cleaning, and some wall painting in that hotel. Do better ass we had three rooms as we came down as a family and was very disappointed.

First, our room smelt terribly of cigarettes which it was a smoking floor however, it was so awful…read morethat we had to wash everything when we got home even our bags because it smelled so strongly. Second, they also overcharged us about 50$ and will not refund it after many calls. Everyone who has spoken to us at the front desk or on the phone has been EXTREMELY rude! You would think that after 4 plus calls back and forth that we would be offered some compensation for THEIR mistake which is proven by bank statements. However, we have only been met with difficulty and disdain. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!! Also the ice machine was broken

We stayed at the Schillinghaus, "Das Blaue Zimmer," aka, the Blue Room. You are given a text prior…read moreto your arrival with an entry code. The building is secure, with a code to get into the building and to your room. There is a covered parking area that is very near the Schillinghaus entrance, which is on the back side of a dental office. This is not a typical bed and breakfast, as no breakfast is actually served. You are given two, $5 coupons with your choice of three local eateries/convenience stores. You also have a fully functional kitchen in your room. The kitchen has complimentary coffee, chips, soda, water, oatmeal, and crackers. There is a full size fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker, and other kitchen items in the closet. You must climb stairs to get to your room, but no fear, they will soon be opening a handicap accessible, "white room," which will be ground level. Everything was extremely clean, stylish, and homey. The bathroom has lots of towels, rose petals soaps, and all toilette are stocked - shampoo, body wash, tooth paste, tooth brushes, and floss were all available, as well as a hair dryer. The bedroom had a queen size bed, which was rather hard, but the pillows were heavenly. There is WiFi, which was weak in the room, but functional. There is a TV in the bedroom and living room. There is a shared fitness room - which consists of an elliptical - between two rooms. I am giving Schillinghaus 4 out of 5 stars because it was private, homey, and relaxing, however, you can hear nearby road noise, the bed was not as comfortable as I would like, and the stairs were a surprise. Everything else was absolutely perfect. You have little to no human contact, which was perfect for me. The only reason we saw anyone is they were working outside and we happened to see them as we were leaving. After saying all this, I would definitely recommend Schillinghaus to a friend. In fact, I would love to go back!

We stayed one night in two rooms upstairs (Blue & Green) which were each a full apartment with everything you could need. Fantastic accommodations for our lovely winery tour which was better than Napa! (no traffic and very affordable wineries compared to Napa).

The hotel room is beautiful and both of the pool areas are fantastic. It definitely do not feel like I'm in Oklahoma and I feel like I'm at some resort in Mexico. They are very high-end shops with multiple designer bags as well. You gotta love that they have two Starbucks locations inside. Have I mentioned the steakhouse upstairs it's beautiful. In Dallas for work and decided to make a long weekend. We left hotel in Ft Worth on Saturday…read moremorning and drove 1.5 hours to Durant OK. This resort was amazing. It was my second time but my husbands first time. We checked in at the spa tower. Valet was included in our resort fee of 19.99 per day. Check in was easy and we went to get our casino cards. We walked around about 4 hours, even tho our room was ready when we arrived. Dropped our bags and left. We were on the 9th floor. Nice room and decent view. The casino is gigantic! So many games, slots and table games. There is a movie theater , concert venue, bowling alley, arcade, several restaurants and bars and a food court. We didn't make it to the pool but got wristbands in case we had time. Only there for 1 night. Casino: slots were tight but I played for most of the night on various blackjack and roulette games. My winnings were steady. There are plenty of machines. The only negative is while you are playing, bar service is pretty much nonexistent. I saw waitresses walking around the tables but not once at the machines and we were all over. Get your own drinks at a bar or cart before sitting or prepare to get up to get them. Food: we ate at Smashburger for lunch. I really enjoyed my burger and fries. They were smash fries with a nice sauce on them and truffle oil. The burger was flavorful. I got a caramel Cinnabon. Another great treat. For dinner we went to the seafood buffet. It was 55.00 each and we were excited. Every.single.thing was overcooked. Fried fish, shrimp, chicken and snow crabs, all overcooked so hard I couldn't finish one bite of any of them. That bad. The etouffee was good but the rice was crispy. I immediately called for the manager. She apologized profusely and offered a full refund. Yeah we couldn't eat there. Great service and I hope they took the feedback and made changes. Finally, I ate velvet taco and hubby had chicken strips from the hot chicken place , good late night eats on both fronts. Checkout time on Sunday arrived too fast but we got packed up to hit the road and got our free soft drinks to go. Got the valet validated and on our way. Excellent stay and we will go back. You do not have to leave once you get there.
