After two horrible experiences at Alderwood we wanted to be fare and try Bothell. It's been many years since we've been here. Greeter was friendly and took us to our table. We waited 5-8 min before recognition the server apologised they were still in training. Trainer came and stood by assisting them. We ordered our beverage and table fries. Soda was cold and plenty of fizz. Fries no salt as requested and HOT slightly over cooked just perfect! Now we wait. 20 min for our burgers. No follow up on beverages For finally arrived no knife as requested. Had to ask twice. Finally showed and the trainer said he was sidetracked. Still no follow up on how the meal was or beverage. I'm trying to be empathetic being a new server but they are with a trainer who obviously also needs some retraining. Not the worst experience but certainly not the best. Our waitress was great! Very friendly, she was good with everyone around that we saw. She deserves a raise! The food was just BLAH. We had about 10 frys on each plate. My food seemed under cooked. Frys were over cooked. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because of our great service. We use to go twice a month now we're down to twice a year. I have never dined in at this location. but I have taken the take-out orders a few times from here. My reviews are based on those. It was always convenient for me to order online on my way home to pick up the burgers from here. I have a few Red Robin favorites - Jalapeño Heatwave, Veggie, California Chicken Sandwich and OREO Magic Milkshake. Timing has been great for me all the time. Never had to wait there after reaching. My orders were always ready. Also, the orders were packed well. No spills; enough condiments and utensils in the bag. Always good. The burgers are always delicious and the milkshake is a great combo, especially when I order the heatwave! Pick up experience was always been great. Smiley faces and get out in no time. read more

The service is friendly and got seated right away. Classic Red Robin casual environment which is just what we were looking for. I had the Lava Queso burger cooked well done. The patty was juicy and the queso had great flavor with a little bit of spice. The jalapeños and caramelized onions added a nice touch too. Plus, it's cool to see the queso get released table-side. Pleasantly surprised with the taste of this burger! I ordered the side Caesar salad to go with the burger. Not much to talk about, it was nice and garlicky but nothing spectacular or terribly wrong about it. Definitely one of the better Red Robins I've been to. Would come again. read more

I always hope that somehow it will be the Red Robin from back in the day--but every time we go, I'm quickly reminded it's not. On this visit, the waitress was clearly overwhelmed and even told us she was. We ordered a malted shake, but what came out wasn't malted at all. The fries that came with our meal were cold as well. After this experience, we won't be coming back. There are plenty of other places to spend our hard-earned money. It's just sad. Red Robin used to be great. Busy location and great with allergies. My son has a wheat & peanut allergies, no peanuts on the premise or on their menu so it was a great option. Food is consistent but this place can get busy. Allergen menu is easy to find and this location has a dedicated gluten free fryer. We ordered fries for our kiddo (allergen friendly), the hot honey sandwich, and a tavern burger. Food was warm and tasty, but service was lacking. I was served a burger on paper and a metal tray, my husband got his burger on a plate, and my kid's fries in a basket. I'm unsure if the kitchen was extra busy or maybe at this location all tavern burgers are served with red robin branded paper on a tray. We weren't able to pay our bill to our server or ask for a box (or get extra fries), the tablet was a great way to pay prior to leaving; probably would come here solo or not hungry. read more

We love Red Robin, but we only go about once a year because that's how long it takes to forget how terrible the service is. We ordered online tonight, and the system gave us a time to arrive. We got there, and no one was working in the lobby. I counted 14 people waiting for tables (maybe the greeter was on break?). It took 7 minutes and 43 seconds for a Red Robin employee to greet us (I started timing when I thought it was weird no one was there, so actually it was longer than that). Then, our food wasn't ready for 30 minutes PAST the expected time. 30 minutes. We didn't get our food until I asked to cancel my order so I could go next door to Chipotle for dinner, and all of a sudden, they brought our burgers to Carside-To-Go. Do yourself a favor... just go to Chipotle. Like the other reviewers, I always hope that we'll get lucky and Red Robin will be like the old days. *sigh* read more

Food: 4.5 stars Service: 4.5 stars Ambiance: 3.5 stars Red Robin burgers have always been awesome and they still are. Bottomless steak fries and onion rings are great! A few favorites: the Whiskey River Burger and the Royal Red Robin Burger. The real, fully loaded nachos they used to make were great at one time, but have been downgraded for several years. Personally, I would not go to any RR for anything but the burgers and fries (and maybe some onion rings). The cocktails are fair. Screaming Red Zombies (still available and still pretty good) and the Nuclear Waste Dump (days long past) used to be awesome. Mojitos are wanting. Asking them to make something not on the menu can be a gamble, but they will do their best -- and, sometimes do a good job (sometimes, not so much). The service can be anything from excellent to okay. In many years at many Red Robins, including this one in Bothell and many around the area (including the first RR in the U District), I've never had bad service -- well, maybe once, but not in the general Seattle area. The wait can get long on a weekend evening, but that's because RR is popular! I much prefer the original, eclectic, fun interior decorating. In modernizing several years ago, RR went more streamlined and I think it took some of the fun and uniqueness out of what made Red Robin what it is (or used to be). I wish they'd retrace their roots and be the fun, unique RR they started as. As inflation has gradually gone haywire they've had to shrink some of the portions, but you can still get bottomless fries. There is certainly a logic to minimizing waste by lessening portions, while retaining the bottomless offering. Overall, this RR and many around, still provide a great burger and fries at a (relatively) good price; meaning a good value overall. read more

We went here twice in a week and had good experiences. The food was hot and fresh and tasted great! It did not take long to get it and the servers were quick and attentive. The first time, i had a Tavern double with added onions and a side salad. The meat had a great smokey taste and the salad was fresh and crisp. The second time, I shared a Cobb salad and works pizza with my husband. It seems like we got less chicken and toppings since they split the salad (compared to when I got one on my own last month), but it was still tasty! The pizza was cut in little squares which we weren't used to, and they were out of green peppers, but it still had good flavor. It wasn't super crowded when we were here in the early evening on a weekday, but I know weekends can be long waits. read more

Sunday 5:15 pm, not very busy. At in bar at 45 min later still no food. Only three tables in the bar area. Stay away from this place.

I hate giving bad reviews but the one time we went here it was just a really bad experience, and while we try to be understanding, it was not ok to be this bad. We had ordered online and after checking the estimated time it would be finished decided to head out, knowing we would be arriving 5-10 minutes after the time our food was supposed to be done, because things happen. When we got there we called to let them know we were there and were told they'd be right out. Even knowing that it can get busy and things happen we sat and waited another 15-20 minutes before my husband went in to see if it was done. At that point it was almost 1/2 an hour after it was supposed to be ready. Then we waited for another 20 minutes, and my kids were crying because they were hungry, we had already paid so we weren't going to go elsewhere and wait again. My husband then had to go back in later and ask if it was done yet. They finally came out with our food almost an hour after it was supposed to be done and they forgot half the order so we had to go back in. It wasn't even that busy so I don't know why it was that long of a wait. The staff weren't great and the food was nowhere near as good as some of the other Red Robin's we've been to. We will definitely not be coming back to this branch because it was just really disappointing. read more

When we first arrived we were originally told by the hostess that we needed to be added to the list even for bar seating, but shortly after another employee let us know that it was open seating. All of the staff were friendly, the restaurant clean, and the decor/ambiance casual. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty, and the reddish-colored sauce with the rings was fantastic! Plenty of vegetarian options and a taste for every palate. We did have to request waters, napkins and silverware, but otherwise the waitress was pretty decent. I called their to go call center and was told they could not customize my salad and that I needed to talk to the store. The store told me that they cannot deliver. The manager told me that the call center can customize my order and that I needed to place my order via the website, call center, or an outside agency to get it. read more

Ordered some Chicken Ensenada with "mixed greens and dressing and veggies". But after I received my order I was surprised to learn that they serve invisible mixed greens and veggies and no dressing stunning service! And to make this story even more enjoyable, GUESS WHATTTTTTTTT..............my buddies second burger patty was invisible too!!!, well I'll be damn Got two chicken pieces seasoned on one side with fries on my plate that was visible. Made me feel like I was 10 years old again what a wonderful experience. Boy I can't wait to come here again and shell out 20 dollars a second time for a plate that visually takes me back to high school cafeteria lunch. As many of you are, I am also a fan of Red Robin.  Due to Covid-19, I have not been eating out or doing any outdoor activities much. After practicing golf at a driving range, I was so starving and ended up calling to Red Robin in Bothell to place a to-go order.  By the time I arrived at the restaurant, I saw tons of people waiting in line to dine in.  Luckily, I didn't have to wait in line because I was there just to pick up my to-go order. Friendly staff welcomed me and asked for my name so she can locate my order.  My order was already available on the table for me to pick up.  I was able to leave promptly after making a payment.  It was fast, easy, and convenient. This time, I ordered a 'Mad Love' burger from the finest burger menu.  The finest burger is a premium burger offered by Red Robin.  It is a little bit expensive than the gourmet burger.  It was actually a first-time for me to place the finest burger. The burger was very juicy and cheesy with Cheddar-and-Parmesan crisp, Provolone, and Swiss.  It came with avocado, bacon, and other vegetables to make it taste better.  I love the toasted brioche bun.  You can never go wrong with the brioche bun.   For french fries, I asked for 6 different sauces - honey mustard poppy seed, jalapeño ranch, campfire mayo, sweet & spicy ketchup, roasted garlic aioli, and smoke & pepper ketchup.  I paid extra 75 cents each for the roasted garlic aioli and smoke & pepper ketchup sauces.  It was definitely worth it.  I recommend to try out the smoke & pepper ketchup sauce if you haven't tried it. They've definitely upped their game since my last review. When we order online, management always calls to verify my gluten-free specifications which I truly appreciate. The last time we ate here, we came in person, and an older woman was our server. I told her we needed a few minutes to use the allergy menu online to find our meals. When she came back and took our order, it was a little off-putting when I ordered and told her I have a gluten intolerance (celiac, but I wasn't about to give the full autoimmune run down) and she asked me if it was a preference or if I was "really allergic". We ordered freckled lemonade and when we got the refills, we got water and lemonade (??!). I came here last week during a school fundraiser night to pick up a to-go order, and the experience was frustrating. I arrived on time and was told the kitchen was running behind. I waited over 30 mins while others who arrived after me got their food. The whole time, my order was actually sitting on the shelf-no one called my name or checked on it, even after I followed up. Ordered via Uber. I enjoyed the gluten free bread option. Well packaged and prepared with care. Receipt attached to bag and contained napkins and seasoning packets. This was my first togo order from here, and I look forward to doing it again. The fries maybe a little cold, but that is the risk I assume we all take when having it delivered. I also ordered the fried pickles, my only comment on that is that I received a lot more fried crunchy pieces than pickles.
