Less dry and had some smoke flavor. Had to be sauced up. Kielbasa polish sausage - sliced thin and bland but soft and not dry. I had two meat combo. Pulled port and beef brisket. Not much of a bbq flavour one had to sauce it up. Pulled pork had a nice marble. Beef brisket same however very dry and tough. Side bake potatoes casserole and coleslaw. Coleslaw was nice potatoes was from a mix you could taste the texture of the potato flakes. Opened it to find only seemingly one portion of pulled brisket, almost all fat pieces. OK, the reason this place only got four stars is I used to go to this restaurant all the time the owner is super nice. I realize that they had no ice cream machine. It was broken. It's been broken for almost a year or so, and they used to give out pickles and other things with their meals that seem to be cut off as well. Last time I ordered there I didn't get half of what I ordered and I was severely disappointed. The cashiers seem like they did not want to work there and the people just seemed an interested I don't know what happened at this restaurant, but it changed even the okra tasted different to me who knows all I can say is they used to have the wonderful wonderful eyes you know that crushed ice but now they don't even have that so for decks I would say thumbs up and thumbs down only because you used to be the best, that's why I still would stick with you read more

I called the catering phone # on 12/21/25 to inquire about ordering a prime rib for Christmas dinner and if they had any left. I was thinking it was a long shot. I first asked for the Marysville location and was told they were sold out. She then looked at other local stores for me and I was told that the Everett store location had them available. I paid over the phone at that time for the prime rib which was over $275. I was not upset for the price we were very excited to have it for Christmas dinner for our entire family. Then on 12/23 about 4:30 pm comes the problem. The problem THAT IS STILL ONGOING. I get a call from one of the managers of the Everett location Trenton. Whom was very nice, but told me that they never received their order of prime rib and that the manager had cancelled our order and that he had refunded our order. He told me we would get the money back in 24 to 48 hours.  Now this gives me less than 2 days to figure out a main course for my entire family AND potentially change the entire menu if we have to change the main course. AND I have to fork out more money before I get a refund in a time of year that is already super expensive. I was not offered any other solutions from them or any other cuts of meat. Just sorry! So my husband goes to 3 other stores also sold out of prime rib, while I am calling around to stores and we finally found one. Anyone who has ever had to prepare an entire holiday dinner knows the stress and planning that goes into it. It was awful! On January 2nd I called Trenton, the manager that I spoke to on 12/23 and told him we still had not gotten a refund yet. He said really? All of the other customers have. My thought was Really?!?!?!?! Did they call you and tell you that. I am sure that they did not; no one calls to say they got a refund. Well at least no one that I know. He said that he would talk to the manager Scott but he was sick so didn't know when that would be but that it would be sometime later that day. He said he would text me after he talks to him. I never did get a text.....  But hours later I did FINALLY get an email that says your refund has been initiated. Here it is the 13th of January, again 3 weeks after that first phone call and 11 days after the email and we STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND.  This is unacceptable and a horrible business model. Every bit of it. They never offered us any alternatives. Never tried to make it right. Not a great way to run a company!  I don't feel like any real genuine care was given to me or the situation.  I understand that them not getting their delivery is not their fault, but figure out something to take care of your customers. I feel like I was never important to them and my business is not important to them. I will for sure NEVER go to the Everett location the evidently could care less about their customers and will not use the Dickey's catering services every again! read more

I ordered take out with the option of curbside pickup. When I got there, I parked in the pickup space and checked in. They didn't come out. So, after 20 minutes, I went in to get it. When I said it was curbside, they didn't even say anything. They just gave me the food. Very weird and annoying experience. So, I'm guessing they don't actually do curbside. They do have a drive through though. So you might be able to pick if up through there. Pricing is high for the amounts of what you get. Very little meat comes on the meat plates, which are around $20. The chopped and sliced brisket are both pretty good. They let you choose the sauce you want and give it to you in a separate container, so you can put on the amount you want. Their macaroni and cheese tastes almost exactly the same as KFC's. Their reusable cups are really durable and I reuse them at home a lot. The inside has tables with chairs. It is very clean and bright. read more

We ordered two plates, each with ribs, one with brisket and one with kielbasa, loaded mash, green beans, chili, and fried okra, and one brownie. The total was about $65. I ordered my food through the website for a 7pm pickup, but I wasn't able to get there until about 7:30pm. There were three employees working, but no one was helping the customers actually in the restaurant, all just working on online orders. I watched as it took two of them to staple a bag together. I repeat, STAPLE A BAG TOGETHER I was third in line, and though I probably appeared rude, after standing in the same spot for 15 minutes, I cut the line, asked for my pre-order, and was on my way. Great bbq choices. I got a rib place and my boyfriend got the brisket Mac stack. Their Mac and cheese is nice and creamy. The jalapeño baked beans were not spicy. They had a little bit of the pepper flavor but not so much the spice. The ribs were not fall off the bone, however they were definitely soft and tasty. I couldn't finish my rib plate because it was a decent sized portion, so I saved the leftovers for the next day. I ended up using the meat in an omelette in the morning and it was perfect. The corn bread muffin is semi sweet and moist. I liked it because it wasn't dry and crumbly. The spicy cheddar sausage is awesome. You should definitely try it. I highly recommend their pecan pie for dessert. It's rich, sweet, and nutty! The crust is perfect and it's a good way to end your meal. read more

I've been a customer at this location for several years and I used to come about once a week because the food and service were so good. A new owner took over around a year ago and although I've only seen him once, there's definitely a change in the atmosphere. The few employees that I "know" are still very friendly, as are the other employees, but something has changed. For one thing, the prices. I used to be able to get a Giant Baker without meat for around $6. I know that prices have gone up, but $11 for a Giant Baker that was so unappetizing that I could barely eat it, is ridiculous. I don't like the location of this restaurant (Everett) even though it's a lot closer to me than Marysville (which I didn't even know had a location). A lot of homeless people will stand by the door and I've seen the managers give them free food. Those people make me very uncomfortable and once I was actually afraid to leave and ended up staying in the restaurant longer than I wanted to in order to avoid the guy who was pacing back and forth in front of the store. I most likely won't be back to this location but because I now know there's a location in Marysville, I'll definitely give them a try if I"m in the area. Not really worth driving all the way there from Lynnwood just for that, but then again, stranger things have happened. read more

The nicest thing I can say is that this Place is the "Taco Bell" of BBQ. They claim it's authentic... yes you can eat it, yes it is food. My wife and I got 3 meat plates. We both got 3 different ones so we could share and compare. All of them were dry, like sitting under a heat lamp for hours dry. None of the meat had any moisture. The sides were tiny and the beans tasted like bushes+tobasco. With how DRY their meat is you'd think they were give you more than a 2oz container of their obviously store bought bbq sauce. I have NO idea how this place has such good reviews. We came at lunch time on a Saturday there is no excuse for how awful the food was. I wish I could ask for my money back but I ate the stuff (like you do Taco Bell) but I have to complain because a meal for 2 cost me $46. Honestly the one less star is more about the app experience than the food experience. The tracker on the app does not work... it's 10:30 at night and we got our food at 5pm and it says it's being packed up... but other than that the only other complaint was a poor job of cutting the meat. They just kind of hacked it and the sausage was in chunks and odd. Tasted fine but it was just a rush job. Everything was super neat and labeled well for our pick up, and ready to go when we had ordered it. I got this delivered during the covid lockdown. The beef brisket was pretty good, tender and moist. The pulled pork was chewy and somewhat dry. The sides (beans, Cole Slaw, potato salad) were ok and similar to a grocery deli quality level. The bbq sauce is standard sweet bbq sauce, but maybe slightly thinner than the kind off the shelf. All the food was sort of cold by the time it got to me, but the driver was only on the road for like 7 minutes after pick up so not sure what that's about. An ok experience at an ok price. read more

So if you think about ordering pulled pork sandwich your thinking this is just smothered in Bbq sauce juicy as hell and your thinking it's goona be fire.. well, this sandwich came with no sauce at all anywhere on the sandwich.. so what was I suppposed to do pull off the pulled pork put it in a bowl and marinate it my self before putting it back on the sandwich to eat it.. this was so dry with no taste at all. Other review say the same The 3 meat plate dry no taste no nothing... bbq sauce on the side but food taste like bark.. The Mac and Chwater was disgusting literally tasted like water with food coloring the color of cheese then thrown in a 1/2 deep cup.. like it was cup of the finest gold. This place could be some award winning bbq if they really but some more passion into there food. But anyways just giving you my thoughts about my order..I literally picked at it for a sec. Then threw everything in the trash can.. what a waste of money! I hate to pile on with the negative reviews but it's clear that this place is guilty of false advertisement. I'm not a food snob, I wasn't expecting "award winning barbeque" or anything like that, but when a restaurant markets itself as serving slow-smoked BBQ then there are certain expectations that need to be met. Not only is the meat here NOT SMOKED but it's not barbequed at all. I had the ribs, the sliced brisket, and the pulled pork. The pulled pork had literally no taste at all and the brisket was only slightly better. Everything was tender, which I like, but where was the flavor? I guess if I had smothered them with sauce, added some other condiments, and made a sandwich out of it then it would have been edible but if I wanted a sandwich I could have gotten one somewhere else. The ribs were the worse of all. They weren't just flavorless, but also dry and had very little meat on them. I agree with a previous reviewer who said the food tasted like it was BOILED and then finished in the oven. But they could have at least seasoned the meat before putting it in the oven. Even the macaroni was watery and had no flavor whatsoever. Does this place use real chefs or just minimal wage kids who should be flipping burgers at a fast food joint? What's sad is that the prices aren't cheap. If you're going to sell such low quality food then price your food accordingly. read more

The sides delivered were wrong (laughingly small) and the forgot the extra bbq sauce for which we were charged. $50.00 plus for this garbage and delivery charge too! We've decided that they give out their fatty cuts, small portions to delivery customers, harder to complain.
