Very nice burger for a lazy night! The burger is good size and katsu is juicy. The sauce compliments the katsu very well. Our favorite burger place.

Back again and they have new menu items! Had to get my usual but hope to try the new item next time. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Was busy when I ordered for pick up but still some seating available. Comfortable to eat there.

Good food at a fair price. Fast , efficient service with ordering kiosks. Pop hits and a younger audience keeps the experience and mood upbeat. Small business with big dreams and awesome grub. Away from the busy crowds and I think that's a plus.

We needed a place to eat near Lynnwood and tried Katsu burger on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised by this place! They offer Katsu meat patties and Japanese inspired burger options. I tried the Baja Dori burger, which was quite tasty. The katsu beef patty was crispy on the outside and flavorful. The burger height was huge, but if you keep the burger in the wrapping, it is easy to keep everything together. Overall, it tasted like a regular burger with a twist. I definitely enjoyed it over just a typical burger, but my girlfriend's curry burger was a hit. The curry burger has overarching theme/flavor profile that I appreciated more. The seasoned fries were fresh and crispy. The 12 spices is a Cajun like seasoning. The wasabi coleslaw was fine - kind of a super mid coleslaw with some wasabi flavoring and edamame. The worker was very friendly and offered his recommendations when we asked. The restaurant is very casual and great for hangouts, but there were some dates while we were there.

I tried chicken Katsu burger and the taste was just so good. I also had wasabi based salad and it had a very nice kick to it. The place is rather small but it is decent. I will go here again for just the taste.

Round 2: Baja Dori burger - coming the second time and happy with choice of this burger. The beef patty is succulent and tasty. The seasoning and spicy mayo go great with it. This pairs nicely with the curry sauce. Definitely give it a try.

I love the unique burgers here. I saw recently they were rating pretty high in a poll so I decided to stop by again. The burgers are very big and hard to wrap your mouth around them. Yes, it was messy like last time but this time I kept my wrapper around the burger so it contained the messiness. They could still use a sturdier burger bun that holds in the moist toppings better. I ordered the Ichi-Ban burger and chose Fries with it. I loved the fresh & hot fries. They are nicely seasoned with your choice of spices. I had the 12 spice flavoring which had a bit of heat but not bad. They do give you a lot of fries with the order and a choice of dipping sauce. I chose Miso Honey Mustard this time. Overall, the food is very delicious and you get a lot for the money. Worth a stop every so often.

I stopped by for a quick lunch between appointments. I had heard this place was good, and while I'm generally not a fan of fusion cuisines (I think they're a gimmick to charge more for poorly-executed dishes), I decided to give this place a chance. I was blown away at how good the burgers were, and while I was too full to try one of their shakes, I'll be back to try one. Tokyo Classic - This is their base burger, with a beef patty that's been breaded and fried, and covered with tonkatsu sauce and Japanese mayo. There are also thinly shaved mandolined, red onions, hearty slices of pickles, and a heap of shredded cabbage to round out the rest of the burger. It definitely breaks the 3 finger rule for burgers, but the cabbage is compressible so I guess I'll allow it, The burger patty isn't very beefy in flavor, but tastes more of the breading and the tonkatsu sauce. Surprisingly, it isn't very heavy, but it is substantial. Baja Dori - This comes with bacon, guac, and spicy mayo in addition to the rest of the components of their base burger. There's also mention of 12 spices on the menu, but I couldn't identify it due to everything happening in this burger. The guac and the sauces make this very messy to eat in comparison to the classic burger. The burgers do come wrapped in paper, so it serves as a little catch for the saucier components of this burger. The bacon does get a little bit overwhelmed with the other flavorful ingredients, but overall this is a solid burger.

I am glad I tried this Katsu Burger in Lynwood on my way back to Vancouver from Seattle. I have been wanting to try it since last year! My husband and I ordered a Tokyo tower and Katsu curry burger with combo. They were excellent. We loved them. The Tokyo tower has two Katsu patties. We ordered fries with nori and 12 spices. Yummy!!! Too bad I couldn't be greedy to try more lol each burger was very big that we couldn't finish it and we had to pack them home. There is a big parking lot outside the restaurant. Don't need to worry about parking at all. There are also pops and Calpico (Japanese beverages) for drinks. Many beverage options. Customers must be able to find what they like to eat and drink here for sure!

    Ninja Deluxe Burger, Fries
    Yasmine H.

I tried Katsu Burger for the first time after hearing great things about the food... And the food was a fantastic combination of fast food and katsu! The portions are large; we split the Ninja Deluxe with sea salt fries between two people and it was perfect for lunch. The painted walls were interesting but the furniture (i.e. old, unstable tables) made the place feel more like a fast food joint than a restaurant. Another plus is that they serve Stubborn soda and beer!

We ordered an abundant spread, and every dish impressed. The clear crowd favorite was the Singapore black pepper prawns - fragrant, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. That black pepper sauce was hands down the star of the meal: rich, peppery, and deeply flavorful. It was my favorite and could easily be eaten on everything. The Mala curry crab and XO crab were both outstanding; layered with complex, indulgent flavors. The Thai green chili clams and saus mentega clams were vibrant and comforting, while the crab fried rice had generous morsels of crab folded throughout the dish. We also really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables, which added a fresh, well-balanced contrast to the seafood-heavy menu. Everything traveled well, was thoughtfully prepared, and made for an unforgettable catered meal. If you're considering catering from Marimakan Crabhouse, I can't recommend it highly enough. Get the black pepper sauce! Amazing from start to finish, and Chef V or Rachel is lovely to work with.

In long This place has great word of mouth and I'm glad I finally got to check it out. I tried 2 things, and, so far, the menu seems to be executed very well. The whole menu looks crazy promising, so this is an excellent sign. I came in for a late lunch on a summer Friday during World Cup. A few folks were watching the game--there were a handful of gasps for great shots and saves. But most of the scattered crowd was there for a leisurely lunch (or beer). They have a solid tap lineup with lots of dependable local favorites, and the tender knew quite a few people by name *and* by beer preference as soon as they sat down. Said she had been there over 5 years. Great vibe, lots of happy customers. It probably gets kinda loud in here when it's packed--you can tell from the photos that everything is concrete and wood and whatnot. No acoustic baffling that I could see. Easy to clean, though, and it was definitely just pleasant and sociable the whole time I was there. I got the Blue Burger with a cup of clam chowder. You can tell the soup is scratch, nice little dicing on the potatoes and veg, decent amount of clams. Comes with the oyster crackers that some of us have loved for decades. The burger is hearty--thick patty, thick stack of veg, squishy thickish bun. Easy enough to eat but without a doubt it's the opposite of a smashburger. I know, I know. This is a seafood joint. You can tell from the fake seagulls right by the front door. But it's been ages since I had a burger, and at least I tried the chowder. Everything was easily good enough to come back and see how the water side of the menu is. I was in and out for a fair price, and never doubted that everything would be very good. And that's exactly how it turned out. I'll happily be back.

We were there a bit later, just before 8 p.m. on a Monday, and easily got a table right away. I didn't want too much food - at my age I've learned my eyes and stomach are rarely on the same page - but I definitely wanted some brisket...as an amateur smoker I appreciate how much work goes into beef brisket so always try it when I see it on a menu. So I went with the Happy Hour Caesar Salad & Brisket. For $8.50 it was a great value. The fat of the brisket was rendered PERFECTLY. My wife wanted the baked potato but allegedly someone came earlier and bought TWELVE and cleaned them out. Disappointing! But the two street tacos she got off the Happy Hour menu were tasty. My teenager decided to lean in and get the brisket entree. Fries and Mac & cheese as the sides with cornbread. He added some of his brisket to the Mac & cheese and loved it.
