Best burger joint in the area that's good for the the whole family. Everything is good. The #2 El Paisano is my favorite.

Solid spot with a solid lunch special! I got the classic burger lunch special and it tasted pretty fresh and good! Would come back for lunch and would be down to try the other burgers!

Blu Burgers & Brew is a nice neighborhood counter service burger place. They actually removed the word "Brew" from the signage - I guess they used to have alcoholic drinks, but lost their license? They have a kiosk in front to order on, although the staff are also friendly and able to take in person orders. Looking at the menu - Blu Burgers used to be so proud of serving grass fed beef from Painted Hills. I guess for cost savings, they turned to a cheaper supplier of meat. That's not something super important to me, but is something to note. They have a very appealing lunch special - a classic burger, fries, and a drink for only $12.95. I didn't order that and instead got a couple of the more interesting options. The food took about 10 minutes to come out. El Paisano ($12.95) - This is a HEFTY burger. I can't believe the patty is only 1/4 pound - it has to be more. They absolutely pile on grilled onions and tons of chopped chili, on both sides of the burger. This adds even more weight, enough that the soft and fluffy bun isn't able to contain everything. Since there are slippery ingredients on both sides of the patty, everything starts to slide out of the bun and it really requires a firm grip to eat this burger. There's only a slice of pepperjack on top and a bit of chipotle mayo, creamy, smoky and a tiny bit spicy, to help adhere the ingredients. But the solid and liquid weight is just way too much that the bun can't handle everything. The bun is too soft and starts compressing a ton while eating, not to mention the liquid from the onion/chilis really sinking into the bread, making it start to become soggy. In terms of taste, the onions are sweet, and peppers have that typical pepper taste but aren't spicy at all, and the burger is beefy. Nothing seems to be salted that much, so it's more of a fresh taste. I usually think burgers are on the saltier side, but this one I think could actually use more salt or something. Otherwise, the sweetness of the onion and the vegetal tastes are a bit strong. There's also some cilantro that boosts the herbal vegetal taste even further. The burger patty itself isn't caramelized too much and is instead soft and beefy. Overall a messy burger to eat that's also a bit on the bland side due to lack of salt. (3.5/5) Garlic Fries ($7.50) - Now these fries are salted and seasoned appropriately. Tons of garlic flavor from the chopped garlic sauce, then topped with a freshly grated, nutty, and salty parmesan. Flavorwise - great, texturewise - could use some work. I noticed immediately when these came out that they seemed a little pale in color, and biting in, I can tell these are a little underfried. There's only a very light crisp on the exterior, and the interior is a bit firmer than fluffy. If I go to Blu again, I would probably ask for the fries to be fried a minute or two longer. (3.5/5) I was also wondering about the "Carolina BBQ" sauce on the Sweet Caroline. One of the customers after me asked about it and the cashier stated that it was a mustard based BBQ sauce, so more of a South Carolina-style. Blu Burgers is a good casual burger joint. While I'm not sure I would visit again, I can't deny that the $12.95 lunch special seems to be a great value. Bathrooms - Two rooms, one for each gender.

Solid burger stop if you are in Mikelto. Had the bacon cheeseburger. Bacon was crispy. Onion rings had good batter and were fried well. Strawberry milk shake was good.

    Lunch special!!

Food was fresh and tasty. The woman who took my order was friendly and helpful! The seating area was clean and comfortable.

Adorable little burger shop in mukilteo, yummy gourmet burgers and shakes. Lots of toppings however the burger patty ratio to toppings and bun was off, hence the 4 stars. Service was great! Casual dine tables and low key vibes.

Always on the lookout for a good burger joint & Blu Burger is on that list! I went simple & got the Blu Burger, and it was great. Definitely not tidy, I recommend napkins but it gets five stars for taste. The fries were obviously cooked fresh. Christy helped me & her service was lovely. I shall be back to try more!

Casual and clean. Pretty welcoming. Grass fed beef patties (per website) and tastes really clean. So glad I found this place. A side of fries were big enough to share between two people. Hubby got classic cheeseburger (he only like plain cheeseburger wherever we go. I got mushroom burger (same for me, I always get mushroom burger no matter where I go). Both were great without over-salting or overseasoning. Definitely will go back when I crave burgers

Amazing burgers and service. You can taste the quality of the protein and the fries are hand cut -- delicious. Haven't had a burger this good in a very long time. We WILL be back !!!!

The family sold in 2025. While the new owners claim no changes were made, the fries are different and the burgers just don't taste as good.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, lots of people of all ages (people with babies and little toddlers, too!) and some tv. I came for my friend's birthday! Trivia nights bring out the brainy banter, and the cribbage club adds a quirky, nostalgic twist. There's even a walking club if you want to earn your pint with a few steps first. Wish I lived in Edmonds cause I'd be down for a walking club. Outdoor Games & Family-Friendly Vibes Edway isn't just for the 21+ crowd, it's proudly kid-friendly, with outdoor games like cornhole that keep everyone entertained and ladder golf. The spacious patio makes it easy to relax while the little ones play, and the welcoming atmosphere means families feel right at home. Also dogs allowed so that's my main reason for going too! We got the Creamy Onion and Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken, which I thought was just ok. The chicken is a bit dry and the fry doesn't stay crispy at all. In long Lately we've been seeking out places that are literally quieter--less volume on the music, more space between the tables, and so on. I'd been wanting to check out 5x5, anyway, since it's the only spot around with an exactly perfect rating score. It looked like it'd fit the bill for a low-key place, and off we went. We came in shortly after they opened on a Saturday (4:00 PM). You're in a larger business-traveler hotel here, aimed at Boeing and Boeing-sub folks traveling for work. The building looks kinda generic from outside, but there's plenty of parking, and the lobby has a high-ceilinged atrium vibe for sure. Nice floor tiles, nice carpet, tasteful furniture. Everything's in perfect shape. You don't feel the lounge vibe right away, but there's a gigantic fireplace ahead of you, warming both sides of the room from the middle. Around that, there are lots of sturdy, shiny tables under the lofty ceilings. Off to the side, there's a little lounge area, then another one. Everything in the lounge is bar-height seating, and there are a few flatscreens, probably showing the game. Most folks are in here, sitting around the bar in the middle of the room. We posted up at a table just outside the lounge. Lindsey was behind the bar, and cheerfully answered every single question we had about food and all their cocktails. She's super friendly and makes a great drink for sure. She seems to have a bunch of regulars who aren't staying at the hotel, which is a great sign, no doubt. We checked out the warm pretzel--such a decadent treat. The waffle fries (and especially the aioli that came with them) were awesome. The pizza was a great choice; we added pickled onions to the Speedway. The crust could be a little crisper but we took home what we didn't finish and it's great here, too. Service on food and drinks was really quick. The cocktails here can be really creative, and there are lots of classics with house twists on the recipe. They even have a pisco sour they've tweaked--that's a fair bit of work for a bartender to make mid-shift. We got 5 great drinks and 3 nice plates of food for $96, and I don't think we even ordered anything from the HH menu. This is a very easy place to add to the rotation.

We had a MARVELOUS experience!…read more My bf, his mom and myself passed by this place on a couple of walks. I've also marked it as a place to visit. It is part of the Staybridge Suite hotels here and this hotel in general, is always packed! We finally know why! The hotel inside is beautiful -- woodwork and a cozy ambience! The 5 x 5 bar & bistro is new. What it was before was an old theater. Matthew was a one-man show with two ladies helping him with carrying the done orders to the tables. It was actually quiet on a Wednesday when we had went. Only 3 tables occupied. We missed happy hour and settled on the regular menu. I had the chicken tenders (4-pc) with lemon pepper seasoning (oh my -- this was delicious!) along with sweet potato waffle fries. I also got the hummus plate -- fresh veggies and the hummus had feta cheese and olive oil too, yummy! My bf had the pepperoni pizza with cheddar cheese and topped with green onions. I had a taste of it and it was pretty good! My bf's mom had the fish burger with a side salad. Matthew was so kind and made a mental note of the orders. He even remembered my bf's mom saying 'no cheese' and he doubled checked with her after looking at the fish burger. Real nice guy and his service with the ladies was warm and delightful! They're forming an events room hall that will be done soon that used to be a pool area (so yes, no swimming pool anymore). They also have a nice patio area with long chairs and a nice mini bar/grills in the middle. I also had a limoncello cooler and my bf's mom has red wine too. We'd come back again!
