Stopped in for breakfast and coffee before heading to the arches park. So many great options, we had difficulty deciding!! Great beverage options, tons of amazing fresh baked goods, and other food. We opted for the special quiches, honey latte, and a speciality latte. Everything was fresh and delicious!! Good sized portions, decent prices. Lots of great vegetation options also. Cool atmosphere for hanging out or studying, and the staff were super welcoming and friendly. Would definitely hang out and study here if I lived in this town. Hmmmm where to start. The smiling face and and awesome personality that greeted us was just the start of our experience, first the scones were delicious secondly the bagels were amazing and the sourdough is well fantastic, I got a chance to speak with the owner and she was engaging and enthusiastic about her business and really wanting to talk about her business and life. Cinnamon rolls from here are a must! We stopped in to grab breakfast and caffeine on the go - the line was a little long right around opening time and I can see why. If you go past 9, it can definitely be more of a wait! We've had their 2 types of cinnamon rolls - 1 classic and 1 savory. Both are huge in size and we had leftovers that we enjoyed later in the day between hikes. The classic cinnamon roll has all the delicious gooeyness in between the dough layers and the icing is light and not too sweet; it was packaged in foil which was perfect for on the go and kept it nice and warm. It is better when you get it first thing in the morning, but still so tasty when we got it our second time of the trip later in the morning. The savory roll is like a mini pizza (with more dough) and topped with a variety of herbs, veggies (onions, sun dried tomatoes), and cheese - filling and tasty as well. For drinks, my husband had the house coffee and I had the London Fog and the Dirty Devil which we enjoyed. read more

This review is for the lox bagel. One of the best I've ever had. Start your morning off right in Moab with their bagels or this number. The bagels are HUGE, I split mine into two meals! The Lox comes with amazing cream cheese smear and smoked salmon, capers, tomato, and onion. It was a little more cream cheese than I prefer (I know you probably think I sound crazy) but otherwise amazing. I had mine on a Parmesan cheese bagel which was heavenly. Also grabbed a black coffee and blueberry muffin to go. Their scones and muffins looked too amazing to pass up. I came at 6:30am right when they open and the guy behind the counter was super friendly and warm. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Moab! read more

This review is cross-referenced for 3 restaurants that we visited in August 2021 in Moab; Red Rock Bakery, 98 Center, and Sabaku Sushi (the latter two we later discovered are owned by the same person). We are from Houston, which is honestly one of the most competitive foodscapes in the nation; you can find the best of everything here in Houston, and so, subsequently, we feel that we have a pretty tough measuring stick when it comes to restaurants. In addition, I am a former chef for Williams-Sonoma and a national cooking contest winner; also, grew up in a family who owned several successful restaurants. Kind of hard to sneak a bad meal to me. These 3 spots in Moab were fantastic! Red Rock's baked goods are totally delicious, from first bite to last. 98 Center's pho was some of the best and freshest I have ever had, and Sabaku's Sushi was, shockingly, in the top 3 sushi meals I have had (this includes a James Beard award-winning sushi restaurant). Apparently, as we were told by RachelAnne of Paddle Moab (our paddle boarding guide), Sabaku Sushi flies in their seafood daily. So in MOAB, UT, you can find excellent sushi, lol? Yes, really. I ordered the Poison Spider sushi and the seaweed salad, and both were simply out of this world. The fresh ginger and wasabi they serve alongside were a perfect accompaniment. If you find yourself in Moab, along with not missing Arches National Park, don't miss Red Rock Bakery, 98 Center, and Sabaku Sushi. read more

Disappointing. Orange juice was store bought, and at that, low quality. Ice was lacking in the orange juice. It was served in a Dixie cup. I couldn't believe how tiny it was. The bagel? Actually salty to the taste. Somebody caked on salt to its exterior. The butter was tasteless. Cream cheese was mediocre. Mobs of people waiting in line for this, too. It's a shame that they don't have an Einstein's, Manhattan or other, corporate Bagel chain here. It's just low quality all around. The menu is a mess with a myriad gooey, complicated, meat and egg concoctions available, to camouflage the bad bagels here. It wasn't cheap either. read more

I might need to give this restaurant another chance, but my first experience was disappointing. The atmosphere is inviting - cute table set-up and decor. Service at the counter was friendly. The latte was very good. For my breakfast, I ordered the sausage, red pepper, provolone quiche and was underwhelmed by the flavors and the crust. My guess is other options would have been better choices. In addition, although I was dining in, the quiche came in a to go box with cold sourdough toast and butter, no knife and a plastic fork which barely worked. I asked for a real fork which I got and was told it was the last available. I suspect staffing issues and dishwashing delays, but their reactions were curt and a little put-out. Got a really tasty bagel sandwich here! It was a special named after someone and had a spicy egg, sausage, cheese, and cream cheese on a parm bagel. The sandwich was hot and melty and big and very satisfying! I wasn't a fan of the bagel itself as it was really hard on the outside and some bites of it actually hurt my mouth. The not enough chewy parts to make it feel bagely. The atmosphere is very casual and collegey and the girl working was friendly. I enjoyed my Americano and I'd say everything else was a pretty standard good experience. If I didn't have too many other places to try, I would definitely have come back to try some of their baked goods, as they all looked excellent. read more

Definitely a spot for the regulars, this coffee stop boasts all the classics and then some. I loved the verbena latte (lavender and vanilla) and the raspberry scone did not disappoint! We got breakfast here during our visit to Moab- and then came back the next morning because it was so tasty! Meg was working the cash register when we were there, and recommended (perhaps unsurprisingly) the 'Meg's Veggie Bagel', which was great! I really enjoyed the bagel, even after years of living in NYC and the general disdain for other bagels that brings. My Scottish(ish) partner also appreciated the St. Andrews flag on the wall. We got here around 7:45 and there were a few people in front of us. We ordered two Lox Bagels. The wait for them was a little long, but they were very good! Just the right texture and a good amount of lox. They came in a to go box which was a little odd and they were made into two pieces instead of a sandwich like I'm used to, but I didn't mind. No complaints, mind you, just nothing special. Service was excellent and friendly, although it took much longer to receive our food than we would have expected. In Moab when its the offseason and the parks are closed for a government shutdown the places to eat are few. Fortunately we found Red Rock Bakery and omg was it good. One thing that the Utes know how to do is bake and their baked good are off the chain. I had a huge and ridiculously good cinnamon roll while my friend had one of their house made bagels. The big winner here are the scones, do not pass on the big fruity and buttery scones. The coffee is quite great as well. Love this place.
