I tried The Mac chopped salad and was pleased with the freshness and flavor. Would order it again. My friends tried loaded fries and a variety of burger choices. Everyone was happy. Counter staff person was friendly and helpful. He handed each of us a buzzer to alert when orders were available for counter pickup. Preparation was fast. Value with quality and quantity of food was comparable to other joints. We enjoyed the Mashup Food Hall venue and location overall. Several of my group did complain about the parking fee since we're used to free parking elsewhere. Sad to say that this might preclude future visits.

My famiy and I visited last night to get our dog, Millie, a pup cup for her 14th birthday. And we also got ice cream while we were there ... obviously. There was a line, as you'd expect, but the staff kept it moving, and we didn't have to wait long. Dairy Kastle is an outdoor ice cream stand, with a mix of cool treats on the menu. My husband and I got the Fat Elvis shakes (a mix of peanut butter, banana and vanilla ice cream). It's our favorite thing on the menu. My son tried the Dole whip for the first time, and he'll definitely get that again. My daughter got the vanilla soft serve with chocolate sauce. And Millie got her pup cup -- two Milkbones with vanilla ice cream on top. Dairy Kastle provided the quintessential Louisville summer experience to end a good weekend. They also have the libations bar there where you can get a selection of premade cocktails that come with a signature glass for you to take home or can make you something different.
