There was a line, as you'd expect, but the staff kept it moving, and we didn't have to wait long. Dairy Kastle is an outdoor ice cream stand, with a mix of cool treats on the menu. My husband and I got the Fat Elvis shakes (a mix of peanut butter, banana and vanilla ice cream). It's our favorite thing on the menu. My son tried the Dole whip for the first time, and he'll definitely get that again. My daughter got the vanilla soft serve with chocolate sauce. And Millie got her pup cup -- two Milkbones with vanilla ice cream on top. Dairy Kastle provided the quintessential Louisville summer experience to end a good weekend.
