I needed my serpentine belt replaced, and I also had a screw with a broken head that needed to be removed and replaced. I recently bought some new coil overs and had them installed here. First of all the girl, who helped me set up my appointment didn't even know what coilovers were. She quoted me a price and it seemed too cheap compared to other places including the quote I had gotten from here before so I reiterated and she still gave me the same quote. When I arrived for my appointment the gentleman helping me said your shocks will be ready at this time. I reiterated once more that I wasn't replacing the shocks but I was installing aftermarket coilovers. I told him that I told her three times to make sure because I didn't want to get quoted a price and then charged a different price. Needles to say he agreed to do them for the price quoted then later called saying they need an extra part for the installation that coincidentally costed the difference between the quoted price and the price I had gotten before. So no I didn't pay the agreed quoted price. Which I could live with because I knew it was too cheap but it was still unprofessional because I had gotten a better price elsewhere. I had gotten the installation of the coilovers and a four wheel alignment. The install was completed and I thought I'd get my car back riding smooth as ever but right away I noticed some issues. My car was not smooth at all and I could also hear loud clanging noises when I turned my wheel which never happened before. I had a buddy of mine balance my tires and fix the air pressure and the car felt nice and smooth again but I could still hear the loud clanging noises. I took the car back to this shop for a retorque and let the gentleman know about my concern about the loud clanging noises. Although I had an appointment that I made a week in advance and expected it to not take all day long He said he had a lot of cars ahead of mine and I had to leave the car all day. The part that made me furious was after leaving the car pretty much all day I didn't receive a call or a message explaining what caused the loud clanging noises or explaining what probably happened. I wasn't made aware of what the issue was or how it came about. I simply received a quote upwards of $1200. I asked for clarification on what the quote was for if I had brought the car in for a complimentary retorque and for them to check why the car suddenly started making those noises after they worked on it. The reply I got was what shocked me the most. Two messages. "Retorque is done." "Noise is tie rods.". I was pretty upset at this point due to the fact I didn't have my car all day despite having an appointment and then not even getting an explanation. I decline the work due to the fact I had just paid a pretty penny for the coilovers and installation and didn't want to spend double on another problem I didn't even understand. I show up to the shop hoping for an explanation and possibly to sort things out. The girl who I assume set up my appointment is at the front desk. She sees my invoice and looks puzzled at what she is seeing so she goes and asks the guy in the back about it then comes back to give my keys and invoice. I ask her a question about it and she has no clue how to answer so she runs back to the guy and instead of coming to talk to me the gentleman just sends her back with an answer that didn't even answer my question. The worst part is when I got my car back it was all shaky and a rough ride and not smooth how my buddy had left it before bringing it back in. At this point I decided to count my losses and will never be back to this shop.
