I was recommended to come to this shop based on their integrity, quality of work, and efficiency. I had my brakes and rotors surfaced same day for a reasonable price. Later that night, while driving, there was an issue with my tire where it would significantly vibrate at high speeds. I took it in the next morning and Greg immediately took it in to see what the problem was. It appeared that I may have left the parking brake partially set, and they cleaned up and resurfaced the rotor at no cost. He made sure to take it for a test drive to ensure the problem was fixed. Other shops may have refused to take responsibility and/or charged additional fees. Greg's garage take pride in their work and ensure you leave satisfied. Maybe you can find someplace cheaper, but I'd rather trust my vehicle with a shop that has integrity and cares for the end result of their work. read more

So i made an appointment for air conditioning service but my engine started to overheat so naturally i asked greg at this shop to check that before servicing my ac. Upon getting there he tells me that he doesnt think he can even get it fixed. Im like i wish you would have told me that before i drove 45 mins to you. Thats just common curtosy. He basically told me to leave and that wasnt the shop i needed to come to. I was like really wow. I made an appointment and thats how you treat people. I guess he doesnt need the business. I went to garys viking and he said no problem and he be able to get it done. Garys reccomended this place but after telling them they said they wont again. Not good service. read more

Super polite people, but I felt like I was being cheated. Called to get an estimate for an oil change and 90 thousand mile tune up. They told me the oil change was $50 and the tune up would be $600!!! He said the oil change would be included because it's part of the tune up. He continued to tell me what he was changing, appreciated, but finished by telling me it would be $600 if I needed to change my spark plugs but only $580 if they didn't... but spark plugs are the most expensive part. Then stated it would be about $600 plus the oil change.. what? I thought that was included? Either way extremely expensive. Found another place that did my tune up for $275. Not sure what kind of business they are running there. read more

I was stuck on a Monday morning thinking I'd have to get a cab to the airport because my check engine light and ABS light came on Sunday night. This would have meant leaving my college student daughter to deal with an unfamiliar car on her own. I was envisioning huge expenses and would have felt felt trapped into paying whatever to get the car fixed quickly. Despite having a busy morning, Greg's Garage got it diagnosed and fixed more quickly than I expected and had me back on the road before I had to call a Lyft. Highly recommended. I've been to Greg's several times over the last several years. I went their originally from reading the yelp reviews. I had taken it to the Redlands Dodge dealer service in years past and had good luck but they changed once the place was remolded and really preferred to try another place. I've taken my Dodge Diesel Truck and recently and a 70's corvette. I'm fairly knowledgeable with cars but get stuck or easier to have someone else do certain items. I recently brought in my older corvette after kind of restoring it with a timing issue I couldn't really figure out. Dropped it off on a Monday late afternoon and Greg called me a couple of times the next day with an update and had it solved and running great that afternoon. Along with adjusting the carburetor. Great service and extremely helpful you get calls about your service all the times I've taken my car there. If you are in the Redlands area and know a lot about cars or really nothing I'd consider giving Greg's Garage a try. read more

I don't usually write reviews but when you come across a business that is this great you are obligated to share. I have a Honda civic hybrid and the AC wasn't working. Honda dealership gave me a list that was close to $1,000 in repairs. I decided to take to a local shop and I get my AC fixed, so cold that my knuckles freeze now, LOL. I brought the Vibe in because I began experiencing a vibration under braking. I could feel it through the steering wheel. The day I brought it into your shop there were three employees on site. A Hispanic gentleman who appeared to be working on a vehicle in one of the far left bays, a man who appeared to be in his 20s and a man who appeared to be in his 30s. The younger man took the Vibe for a test drive, brought it back, removed all four wheels, and inspected it. The older man pretty much sat around scratching his butt until the younger man had him look at the brakes as well. The wheels were put back on my vehicle, and it was lowered off the rack. I was informed that they found nothing wrong and they relieved me of some $37. I was incredulous. And I drove off with the vibration still very much intact. So I took it back to Riverside to my old garage. As soon as I described the problem my mechanic he said the rotors needed to be ground. An appointment was made, the job was done, and the vibration was gone. I thought about returning to your business and asking for a refund, but I figured you had problems enough since I had just dealt with two of them. read more
